He started life in the home of a family of normal Shy Guys on Yoshi's Island. As a boy he loved pretending he was their leader and that he led the Shy Army to many victories. By the time Mario and Friends invaded, he had escaped and left to join the Koopa Troop as a member of the Shy Army for real. Army life was tough at first, but he got used to it. He was stationed at the Shy Guy Toy Box as a cournal and was to assist General Shy. One day, in a battle with a herd of Yoshis who had come to destroy the Toy Box, General Shy was trampled and the next thing he knew, Guy was being promoted by Bowser himself! Life passed by normally until one day Bowser came back and entrusted the general with Muskular, the fourth Star Spirit. Soon, Mario came to claim it. General tried all he could, sending a wave of Elite Shy Guys called the Shy Squad to stop him, but they failed and he tried to stop Mario himself, but even the power of his tank coudln't stop Mario and friends, and General Guy was defeated. After that he retreated and was never seen by Mario again. But he's still out there with an army of Shy Guys. He could strike at any moment.
