Paper Mario
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
More about Amazee Dayzee...
Games: Paper Mario series
A rare, golden Crazee Dayzee from the Paper Mario
series. Why it should be that Crazee Dayzee, a very basic enemy from
Yoshi's Island, should not only be so greatly upgraded in Paper Mario,
but also have this distinctive relative, I don't know. Amazee Dayzee
has the most powerful attack of any enemy in the first Paper Mario, including
bosses, hitting for a whopping damage. And like its cousins, its
attack will put Mario to sleep if not blocked. It also has high HP,
and defense, pretty much making it the most dangerous enemy in the game.
But in fact, it is unlikely to knock Mario out because most of the time
it just runs away. It also appears very rarely. In the first
Paper Mario, it appears only in a certain spot in Flower Fields, and only
sometimes. In The Thousand-Year Door, it will occassionally appear
in battle in place of a regular Dayzee on the path to the Creepy Steeple
- good luck if Mario is fighting solo at that point! It also appears
very deep in the Pit of 100 Trials. And in Super Paper Mario, it
also appears deep in the Pit. Between its strength, stamina, and
rarity, it's quite the achievement to actually defeat it. You'll
get a lot of Star Points for doing so, too - not that you really need them
if you're strong enough to defeat it. It's also one of the rarest
Catch Cards in SPM. You can get as many of them as you want in the
arcade, technically, but I think they cost 500 tokens or so.
