A chain of fireballs that rotates around a block at a moderate pace, Fireball doesn't seem so much like an enemy as an obstacle, but it is named in the SMB1 manual.  A common sight in Bowser's castles from the early platformers, I don't even remember if Firebar actually appeared in Mario World; it does make brief appearances in Paper Mario and Mario Galaxy, though, so it hasn't been entirely forgotten.  Firebars come in different lengths depending on how many fireballs are in the chain.  They don't really come too terribly long in the games, but in certain fangames you'll find that developers have taken certain liberties...

Having appeared so far only in Season One of Roy's Sports Hall, Firebar has the dubious distinction of having the highest Strength of Schedule among all ranked fighters.  That's because both of his losses came against Mack, the highest ranked fighter in the Hall.  So against fighters that aren't elite chart-toppers, Firebar is a perfect 2-0!
