Paper Mario
More about Fuzzipede...
Games: Paper Mario
Read his dialogue out of context and you'd think
that this Fuzzy-like character is a cranky pain-in-the-neck who deserves
a beating. But it's hard to blame a guy for being a bit upset over
being used as live fishing bait! The Mushroom Kingdom may
pride itself on providing a safe haven for all species that will embrace
it, but when activities like this can go on just minutes away from the
castle, you really have to ask some questions. Fuzzipede gets eaten
alive by a whale but continues to make himself known from the inside by
jumping around, causing the whale a stomachache. Needing a ride to
Lavalava Island, Mario agrees to help the whale, and as stubborn and unwavering
as he is, he thought nothing of giving poor Fuzzipede a thumping.
Well, actually Watt probably dealt most of the thumping. Since it
is dark inside the whale, you must use Watt to be able to see and attack
at all. And since Fuzzipede hangs out on the ceiling that is the
whale's ribcage, Mario can only attack with special abilities. But
even if you do restrict yourself to Watt's attacks, this miniboss isn't
very difficult. At least in the end he does escape the whale and
spends the rest of the name not being fished with. It's not exactly
justice, but sometimes you gotta take what you can get.
