Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
More about Red Chomp...
Games: Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door, Super
Paper Mario
Any good gamer knows that all you need is for
a character to change colors, and it's completely different! With
its obvious red color, the Red Chomp can't be mistaken for the traditional
black Chain Chomp. It first appears in the Glitz Pit of PM2.
Since its defense is so high, you'll have to hope the rules don't prevent
you from using moves like Earthquake or the hammer's D-Down Pound.
It also appears in the Pit of 100 Trials in that game. Red Chomp
reappeared in Super Paper Mario, where it tried to get in for a late snack
in 8-3. Unlike in PM2, in SPM it was stronger than the generic Chomp
variety. Red Chomp also appeared, sort of, in Super Mario Sunshine.
Well, there were some red-hot Chain Chomps running around until Mario doused
them and they became black again.
