Games: Super Mario Galaxy 2
 
This boss of Slipsand Galaxy from SMG2 inhabits the center of a sand-whirlpool, from which it will attack Mario by chucking rocks and other projectiles.  Squizzard has the misfortune of being located near a Fire Flower, the product of which will burn his mouth and cause damage, but to let loose with fireballs while remaining unharmed is difficult because the sand will continually drag Mario towards danger.  So you must try to position yourself on one of the unmoving rock platforms at just the right time when Squizzard is open to attack, or stand far enough back from the center as to be able to launch a couple fireballs before getting dragged to your doom.  Squizzard is also the subject of a daredevil challenge.
