Chapter Four: Further into the Trap
Luigi turns back and doesn't realize how close to the edge he is. He loses balance and falls backward, only for his head to go through the brambles.
Luigi: Huh?
He gets back up and flings his hand into the bramble. It is a fake. He gently touches a few to the right of him-- those are real. He steps through the bramble and sees a door ahead. Stepping though it, he breathes a sigh of relief.
The next room is the second part of the maze, which makes Luigi mad. He is forced to go forward. A long way. So long that he reaches the opposite wall. Now he can go left or right. Both ways reach the wall, then make a small turn. In front of him is a big torch, bigger than any others he's seen before.
Luigi: Eenie, meenie, miny... left!
Luigi heads down and around the corner. It goes south for a while, then a U-turn going north, the a U-turn going south, then a U-turn going north, then a U-turn going south, then a U-turn going north, then a U-turn going south, until finally there is an inscription on the wall at the dead end.
"Look up."
Luigi looks up to see an inscription on the ceiling that says:
"Now look back down."
In front of him lays a sword. Attached to it is a note saying:
"This might come in handy later."
Luigi: Geez, this guy is mysterious.
Luigi rips off the note and goes back to the big torch, carrying the sword with him. This time he goes right and down. He can now go left or right, and he chooses left. He looks around the corner and sees a dead end. This time he goes right and the path gets narrow. He reaches the wall and is forced to turn right for a while, only to reach another wall, forcing him to go left. He finds another wall and is forced to go right. He's faced with yet another wall, and must go right.
Luigi: Mamma Mia...
Now he can go left or right. Right goes down a long way and has an inscription. Left leads to a door.
Luigi: First let's see what the guy has to say now.
Luigi walks down the long hall and read the inscription:
"Before you leave, are you sure you've found everything?"
Luigi thinks hard about this.
Luigi: Um... oh, the sword.
Luigi heads back to the door and goes through.
Luigi: Glad that maze is over.
The next room is smaller then the mazes... much smaller. Luigi becomes freaked out and looks around. This room is neon blue, which doesn't seem right because the rest had been a slight red from the torches. The ones here have blue fire. In the center is a big hole and what seems like a bottomless pit. Luigi draws his sword.
Luigi: I don't like the looks of this...
Before Luigi knows what he is doing, he is walking toward the hole. Little does he know, however, that it is on a slight hill. The floor has nearly no traction, and Luigi slips and falls down the hole.
Luigi: YAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
As soon as Luigi hits the ground, an evil shrill is heard.
