Chapter 6: Smithy's Attack
Psyche: I’m so glad you two made it out alive!
Aleth looks up and sees blurry objects fly through the sky.
Aleth: Yoshi, do you see those blurs?
Yoshi: Yoshi see blurs.
Aleth: Can you try to bring at least one down with your tongue?
Yoshi: Yoshi try!
Yoshi brings down a bunch of Gusties. The group jumps on the Gusties and ride away until they reach Star Road.
Aleth: Open the gate to the world of mystery!
The gate to the Special Zone appears. The group
walks inside and finds Smithy, who had been hiding in there for a long
time.
Smithy: Hahaha! You can’t beat me!
Smithy aims a triple laser at Psyche, Wendy, and Karma.
Aleth, Lemmy and Ludwig: NO!
Aleth, Lemmy and Ludwig intercept the lasers. Psyche and Karma fall to the ground.
Aleth and Psyche die, but Ludwig, Karma, and Lemmy survive, barely.
Karma: SMITHY! YOU ARE SO DEAD!
Karma rushes Smithy and pulverizes him until he falls. Smithy gets up and uses a Tornado Bomb to sweep everyone away, but it fails to pick up everyone. Aleth’s Pick Me Ups (which he had packed earlier) fall on Psyche and Aleth and revive them.
Aleth: Take this, Smithy!
Aleth shoots Smithy with a fireball, causing him to fall on his head.
Smithy: TIME FOR YOU ALL TO DIE!
Smithy tries to destroy Plit and Star Road using a large blast, but a reflective barrier made by Boo bounces the blast right back at Smithy.
Smithy: AUGH!
Smithy gets swallowed in the blast.
Bowser: We did it!
Boo: No, he’s still there, somewhere, but he’s too weak to attack again for quite a while.
