Part 1: The Origin of the Master Hand

Some time before the dinosaurs, the universe known as NES was ruled by a tyrant who ruled with an iron fist and called himself The Master. He maintained power with his amulet. One day he was tired of people rebelling so he hosted a tournament. If you could beat all the other combatants and his army you could fight him.

Only one person made it to the fight with The Master. He called himself The Hero.

The fight between The Master and The Hero lasted for ages. Finally, Hero used psychic power to pull The Master closer. The Master shot one of his fists off like a rocket, but missed. Suddenly the gems in The Master's amulet were pulled out. There was a golden triangle, a silver tree, a silver fox head, a circular sapphire with small emerald, a diamond with small rubies, a golden banana bunch, a golden star, a pearl dream cloud, and a circle that was half ruby and half ivory.

Suddenly The Hero exploded, and a white streak of light from the explosion went into each of the gems
from the amulet and the ring itself. With the amulet completely shattered, The Master exploded as well.

A black streak of light from the explosion went into each of the gems from the amulet, and the ring. Thus originated the Earthian, Hylia, Kongian, Yoshian, Mushroomian, Foxian, Pokean, Dreamian, and Metroidian planes.

The hand that had been shot off during the battle returned. Somehow it was still able to see, hear, and talk.
It said, "This is what I get for being evil." It was trapped in limbo. His prison looked like a child's bedroom.
He said, "I'll turn over a new leaf and be a good guy.  Some day the planes will cross over into limbo and when they do I'll have a tournament. I'll observe people from different planes and select the greatest
heros. But in the meantime I'll play a game. Fighting Polygons, arise!"

Thirty Fighting Polygons appeared, and said, "Yes, Master?"

The Master's Hand asked, "Where are the rest of the Fighting Polygons?"

"They were destroyed in the explosion, The Master's Hand."

"The Master's Hand... has a nice ring to it.  But it doesn't seem quite right. I know, call me Master Hand."

"Yes, Master Hand."

Part 2: The Start of the Mushroom-Koopa War

Aboard a Nesk spaceship, the queen Nesk ordered, "If we can't have Earth, no one can! Use the tractor beams to alter the course of the comet so it destroys the planet!"

The Nesk obeyed. Suddenly the Queen saw a large spotted Nesk egg. She knew the spots meant it would be the new queen. She decided to open the hatch and throw the egg out. But everything in the ship flew out.

The comet hit the Earth and it was spilt into three parts. The larger part was named Earth, the smaller was
named Plit, and the smallest part was named Dinosaur Land. The moon was also created at this time.

For many millenniums Earth, Dinosaur Land, and Plit fought. There was no way for Plit or Dinosaur Land
to be a moon or for Earth, Dinosaur Land, and Plit to all be planets.

One day the strength of the Earth threw Plit off the Earthian Plane and onto the Mushroomian Plane. It also threw Dinosaur Land onto the Yoshian Plane.Eentering another dimensional plane caused several things
died, yet it also caused several things to hyper-evolve. The clouds hyper-evolved to Happy Clouds (the clouds that smile in Mario Games, but don't do anything). Turtles hyper-evolved to Shell Creepers (the turtles in Mario Bros.). Mushrooms hyper-evolved to Goombas. Moles hyper-evolved to Monty Moles. Frogs hyper-evolved to Froggies. Several other species hyper evolved as well.

Thousands of years passed before they evolved again. The Happy Clouds evolved to Nimbus Landers.
Goombas evolved to Mushroomers, and related to them as monkeys do to humans. Monty Moles evolved to Mole Men (the moles that talk in Mario RPG). Froggies evolved to Froggers (like Frogfucius) and Yoshies.

One day a Shell Creeper was struck by lighting. The Shell Creeper hyper-evolved to a Koopa. He named himself DAD and started the Koopa Empire by using a machine to make more Shell Creepers become Koopas, but he allowed most to stay Shell Creepers. He gathered Goombas and other creatures and began to take over Plit. The Mushroomers fought back, thus starting the Koopa-Mushroom War.

The rivals both had a monarchy for a government.

The Mole Men lived in the Mushroom Kingdom and helped in the war by mining for things needed to make weapons. The Nimbus Landers lived up in the clouds away from the war, while the Yoshis remained on a small island named Yoshi's Island.

Part Three: Yoshi's Story

Pre-Prologue:

King Morton Koopa I and Queen Ozma Koopa I had a son named Wart and were expecting another Koopling. a term that used to be used to refer to any Koopa child. Wart was one when Ozma laid the egg that would hatch into her new Koopling. This made Wart jealous. He thought they would admire and love the new baby and abandon him. Wart snuck into the lab of Kamek, an expert Magikoopa alchemist, and stole a potion that he thought would make him stronger, but it turned him into a frog. It was for this reason that  the Translator Box was invented.

The egg hatched into Bowser.

Prologue:

Bowser was one year old, and the Koopas had addedYoshi's Island to the Koopa Empire.

One day Bowser was called to the throne room. He said, "Yes, King Dad? Yes, Queen Mom?"

Morton said, "Bowser, as you know, we recently conqured Yoshi's Island on the planet Dinosaur Land on the Yoshian Plane."

"Yes, I know."

"Well I've decided to l-l-et y-y-you..." he stuttered.

Ozma said, "Your father is giving you Yoshi's Island!"

Bowser said excitedly, "REALLY?! WOW!!! Thanks, King Dad!"

Morton said, "Well actually you will only rule it in part. I still rule over you... you'rr like a sub-ruler."

"That's still great. Where did you get such a great idea, King Dad?"

"Humans had it in what they call the Middle Ages. It was called Feudalism, but for some dumb reason they no longer have it. You may divide Yoshi's Island between more rulers if you choose to."

"Okay."

"As a symbol of our deal I shall give you this crooked spike." He handed Bowser a crooked spike.

"Thanks, King Dad, I'm going to go put it on right now." Bowser left for his apartment."

Ozma and Morton looked at each other and nodded.

Ozma called, "Kamek, come here!"

Kamek came into the throne room. He said, "Yes, Queen Ozma?"

Ozma said, "I want you to be Bowser's babysitter."

"Yes, my queen, but won't that make him angry?"

"You're right. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Yes, my queen. How about I tell him that you assigned me to be his personal advisor and servant?"

"Good idea."

Kamek teleported outside of Bowser's apartment, knocked on the door, and said, "May I come in, Prince Bowser?"

Bowser said, "Yes you may."

"Your parents want me to be your personal advisor and servant. When are we leaving for Yoshi's Island?"

"Right after I find some troops."

"There are troops currently placed on Yoshi's Island."

"Well let's go now. By the way, why do you always sweep with your broom as you walk?"

"Well my broom draws mana from the ground as it's sweeping and gives it to me. Mana is needed to use magic." He began to teleport.

"Wait, I forgot to tell you I don't know how to teleport."

Kamek teleported an inch backwards because you can't cancel a teleport spell. He said, "I can't teleport you. Do you know how to fly?"

Bowser said, "Yeah."

"Well let's fly!"

They flew for several hours. Suddenly Kamek's broom didn't have enough mana stored to keep him in the air. He fell from the sky. Bowser flew down and caught him, then he flew back up, but suddenly he got tired and they all crashed into the nearby Koopa town.

They were taken care of by a Koopling named Clawdia, who liked Bowser and vice versa.

After a few weeks they continued on their journey and made it to Yoshi's Island. Bowser decided to divide Yoshi's Island between four people. He chose Cloud N. Candy, Inviso, Cloudjin, and Don Bongo. He gave them each a gift. He gave Don Bongo his personal cook discount on all food and food utensils. He gave Cloud N. Candy some cotton candy. He made it so Cloudjin, who he thought was a genie, would never have to grant a wish. Finally he gave Inviso the power to still be tangible while invisible.
