Peach’s Christmas Special

By The Mario Surfer

Author's Note: The Jingle Bells song in this is based on the Tenchi Muyo Christmas Special, where they sing Jingle Bells in Japanese.

Not long ago, in a place not far from here, in a hollow mushroom, their lived a kingdom of people. They called themselves the Mushroomers. And when Christmas came it rang from every steeple. The Princess was dressed in her best, escorted by a young gentleman, and so it happened this all began. Just south of this fine mushroom was a hollow tree that was a kingdom, too. There lived a people the Mushroomers wished were old news. The great bellowing of the tree's lord scared Mushroomers as well as his horde. Children counting seven ran amuck in this tree's hollow trunk. And so our story starts, about the tale of softening a heart.

"What is this?" cried out Mario, who acted as though his age were two. He plucked a white snowflake from his overalls, red and blue.

"It's a snowflake," Luigi chided as the Christmas bonfire was lighted.

Peach, escorted by Racku, looked up at the tree above and then knew. She'd not invited Bowser, lord of the tree, and she thought 'Surely he will throw his wrath on me.'

"Don't worry Princess, dear, I am sure Bowser will not draw near. He wouldn't wreck this even if his heart is dead." But Racku looked worried as this he said.

Daisy Toadstool stood and waited, for the young man she had once dated. Luigi, tall and slim reached out his hand, and then there was a great noise as someone started up the band. Daisy took it without hesitation, leaving Mario frustrated with the situation.

The older plumber was on his own, for he had no partner and would be left alone. The entire room except for him began to waltz, but with Bowser's entrance, came to a halt.

"What are you doing, foolish people? You did not invite me to sing carols with you or listen to bells ring in the steeple. You did not invite me to party and dance and of my invitation being lost in the mail there is no chance!"

"I am sorry, Bowser, spare me please! I meant no wrong, I'd not thought, but I really don't wish for a war to be fought," Peach exclaimed, tears streaming from her eyes, and this made both Mario and Luigi cry.

"Bowser, please join us now. We have a present for you anyhow," Racku admitted coolly while  Mario smiled foolishly.

"A present for me? How could this be? I've been cruel, I've been mean. This is something I've never heard of, never seen!"

Bowser stepped forth forgiving all, they all joined hands and sang Christmas carols.

"Jingles Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh. Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way La la la la la la la la la la la la la" Bowser began.

"Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh," Daisy sang with her winter tan.

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way La la la la la la la la la la la la la," Wendy, one of Bowser's kids, sang as she walked in.

"Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh, o'er the fields we go, laughing all the way!" Peach's voice rang out.

"Bells on bobtails ring, making spirits bright! Oh what fun it is to sing a sleighing song tonight!" As ZeldaFan1056 walked in singing, Mario gave a shout.

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way La la la la la la la la la la la la la!" The entire cast's voices rang.

"Bells on bobtails ringing, making spirits bright..." Peach sang.

"Oh what fun it is to sing a sleighing song tonight!" Racku finally got his solo in this song.

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, la la la la la la la la la la la la la! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, la la la la la la la la la la la la la! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, la la la la la la la la la la la la la! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, la la la la la la la la la la la la la!" The cast sang, and knew that this was how it was meant to be all along. Why? Because Christmas is a special time of year, meant to spread joy and cheer.

So the Mushroomers said goodnight to their new-found friend while Lemmy cried out "ENOUGH!

THE END!"
