Author's Note: After reading Losing Ludwig, by Karma Koopa, and Kissy Koopa's bio, I've felt that the story was left unsaid. I'm not sure, but I think Kissy Koopa perhaps left Lemmy's Land, and I know Karma Koopa did for reasons of her own. I guess it's me who is here to complete the story.
I just wanted to say to Kissy Koopa that she shouldn't have left Lemmy's Land, if she did even, after only one submission, or even a few others. Sure, you must have been a newbie when you wrote that bio, but you shouldn't have left, in my opinion. Now, my opinion is simply my opinion, but I believe you are a quitter and shouldn't have left Lemmy's Land after a little embarrassment.
This story is just to complete the circle, and it will perhaps be the ending of Kissy Koopa. I do wish she'd come back; she might have eventually gotten something into Little Lemmy's Land, but it is not up to me as to whether or not what happens.

The ceiling was quite tall, and most towering as the young Koopa stared up at it, her eyes glistening with a single tear. She stood poised, her forlorn look finally giving in completely to her pretty face. A blue-haired Koopa boy strolled up behind her, not even giving her a look of pity as a Yoshi/Koopa hybrid stood clinging to his arm as if for dear life. The Koopa girl wanted to glare at her, but she didn't even glance at the Yoshi/Koopa hybrid. The Koopa girl just glanced down at the ground as the two walked away, another tear falling from her face and onto the ground silently. The Koopa girl heard the door shut as she turned towards it almost relentlessly. It might be the last time she heard that door after today... The Koopa girl strolled in, and took her seat.
"Kissy Koopa. Angela. Your friend, and yourself, have stated you are leaving the Koopa Clan. Your reasons?" King Bowser Koopa stood, his look of carelessness obvious to everyone.
"Ludwig and Karma Koopa wish for me to leave. My friend can stay if she wishes, but I am leaving. My reasons are probably foreseen, King Koopa. Do you wish to pry into my heart any longer?" Kissy Koopa didn't bother looking up. Her head hung there, her attitude given up. Her heart was shattered, her dreams were apparently broken, and she held a soul that no longer wished to be a weapon of hope. She was washed of all light and dark, she was comparably an empty vessel... perhaps even without a soul! Her happiness had left her; she felt there was no life worth living anymore. Unrequited love would do that, though...
"Well. I suppose you'd like to return to Earth? Are you staying on Plit? What are you going to do?" King Koopa asked suspiciously as Kissy still hung her head. She cleared her throat but said nothing.
"I believe Kissy Koopa should stay," a small voice piped up as Larry stood behind them all. He was apparently late for the trial. The entire Koopa family should have been there, but he was completely late.
"It's her choice," Bowser replied to his youngest son, as Kissy Koopa looked up at him, her eyes gray and lifeless.
"I'm..." Kissy seemed to pause as Larry took a seat in the many chairs of the room. Bowser held a mallet behind the podium as he slammed it impatiently, "leaving." The entire family was silent for a moment, Clawdia running this all through her own head. Iggy seemed a little sad, Roy not to care, Lemmy a little on the happy side though it wasn't so clear, Wendy very pleased, Morton crying tears, and Larry in a hurry to get out of there.
Bowser frowned as he looked angrily at Karma. How that stupid Yoshi managed to foil his plans, he hadn't known. Somehow... the two had resolved it themselves. Maybe his son really was a Yoshi-lover... Bowser just was sick of her. He wanted to just get rid of her like he'd done with all the other prisoners... Why were they Mets? He wished he could have undone it. Bowser snorted in disagreement.
"Done then. Where will you go?" Bowser asked impatiently and just about unwillingly as Karma turned and started to walk away. Ludwig followed as Kissy felt sick to her stomach. This feeling inside her wanted to chase after him and kiss him and hold him tight. She wanted to throw up. She wished she'd never come to Kastle Koopa, wished she'd never met Ludwig, wished this was all a horrible nightmare. Sadly, Kissy knew it wasn't... she didn't know where she'd go.
"I'm leaving," she repeated as she took the opposite direction of an exit than Karma and Ludwig. They hadn't even turned back to look at her... she knew they didn't care. Kissy wanted to run, but wanted to stay, wanted to cry, but wanted to yell. She wanted to live, but wanted to die. Her heart was shattered, it had been ripped, and she just wanted to run forever. She wanted to get a grip on herself, but she couldn't seem to find who she was anymore. Kissy's soul was here, but it wasn't. Kissy was sad, but there was nothing... she knew there was nothing she could do about it. Her heart had led her to an end... an unfulfilled prayer... a hopeless dream, a pile of lost thoughts. This was an unfulfilled wish on a shooting star... a lonesome lullaby... thoughts upon thoughts began to build upon Kissy Koopa as she shut the door behind her, the tears unable to be held in as she began to let them all out. She stood bold and walked off down the hall, a few of the meaningless tears hitting the ground without a single noise. It was perhaps a lost echo within the wind... a lost echo crying for help, and no one coming to the rescue...

The moonlight had come, a few hours after the trial, and all of the family was either in their rooms with quietness, or saying their goodbyes to Kissy Koopa and her friend.
Karma and Ludwig sat in the lab, staring at the ground. Ludwig wanted to say something to Kissy, but he didn't know what to say. Karma was sort of happy she was leaving, but the aura of sadness had spread throughout the entire castle. Somehow, the tears may have infected everyone's hearts, even Karma's. Somewhere in her persisted an image of a gun to Kissy's head, Kissy pulling the trigger herself... Karma shoved the thought away.
Was she really that hurt? Karma wondered. Kissy had lost her attitude, lost her soul, wielded a broken heart... and Karma figured she might have even lost the will to live on. Karma had no way to figure it out for sure, though. She didn't want to get close to Kissy... she couldn't possibly. Kissy probably wouldn't let anyone in anyway.
"Ludwig..." Karma paused as he looked up at her with his big solemn eyes that meant something was definitely on his mind. "What about Kissy?"
"Angela? She is leaving. We'll be happier that way." He was trying not to make her feel hurt; Karma could feel it. She felt he was kind to not want to hurt her, but she felt the need to fix this. Her heart was not as piny as a Spiny! Karma wanted to scoff at her rhyme, but she didn't. Kissy would need something... a light... a reason to thrive. It had diminished with her broken heart, Karma could feel her pain. She didn't know how, but it was as if her heart was right next to Kissy, watching her cry inside, feeling all of darkness rush around her and fill her with kisses of death. Karma knew darkness; it would call to you, say it was correct, toy with your mind, and eventually drive you out of your own mind and even make you kill yourself. Karma shuttered...
"But Ludwig..." Karma didn't know how to say it. She didn't know how to talk to Ludwig! She then figured he didn't know how to talk to her either. Karma had to say something, in some way, she had to get it out. "Kissy is hurt. We're throwing her out with a broken heart, no reason to live. We really hurt her, and I don't think she might... well...she didn't..." Karma didn't know what else to say. Sure, they both might have hated her, but that was no reason at all to just throw her away. Karma actually felt bad somewhere within herself.
"Deserve this," Ludwig finished as he placed his wrench down. He hadn't really been using it.
Karma sighed as she opened the window. The wind was singing a lonesome lullaby, her heart wandering right, really actually feeling sympathy for Kissy. Even if she'd caused trouble, Karma could somehow feel it... a lonesome feeling all about... hopeless... lost... The thoughts almost swallowed Karma as she sort of staggered and swayed a tiny bit before snapping out of it with Ludwig's voice. "Karma. Let's both go talk to her..."
"Are you sure?"
"Do you want me to go alone? With her?" Ludwig almost joked, but neither laughed. Karma nodded and obediently followed him. They had to work this out... give her a reason once more to live.

Kamek stood outside the lab hallway, just floating there, a broad grin on his face. His wand was glowing slightly; he'd obviously just used a spell.
"Karma's heart is more open that you'd think," he muttered amusedly to himself as he watched the two walk up the stairs, heading towards the bedroom where Kissy and Sunny Koopa shared their room. He floated, staring off into space for another moment, his smile just broadening. He then began to follow, making his way along through the shadows cast by the seeping moonlight that bled through the windows of Kastle Koopa.

"We're leaving tomorrow?" Sunny Koopa asked. Kissy nodded, not even looking up from packing her suitcase. Sunny didn't know what to say, but she could tell Kissy seemed lifeless. "Is it just me, or are you not feeling all right, Angela?" Before Kissy could even process the thought, however, a knock on her door was heard. Kissy seemed to not care as Sunny went over to the door and placed her hand on it quickly, almost happily. Karma and Ludwig stood as Sunny nodded.
"Kissy, you've got visitors. I think I'll just leave," Sunny stated as Karma and Ludwig walked hesitantly into the room, Kissy not even looking up at them. Karma could feel her heart sort of swell... it sort of contained rage, doubt, and even... hatred... but more fear than anything, and an actual truth stating she didn't really want to be surrounded by darkness: she wanted to get over Ludwig, and yet she just couldn't... something was holding her back. There was no light to actually guide her out of this. Karma tried not to fall into her mind again, though... her heart... Karma didn't know. She could just feel it was Kissy's feelings, as she was just sure, something inside of her was just stating it all.
"Kissy..." Ludwig really seemed clueless as Karma stood behind him. They both stepped up to her, and she still didn't look up at them. Karma sat down beside her, a sort of fond and motherly look upon her face.
"Angela, I can't..." Karma looked at her with eyes of confusion, but still gentle. "You can't be lost inside your own heart. You didn't really love Ludwig, as he did not love you. If you two did, then you'd be together. I'm sure there is a better man out there for you, even, if possible, a human man, if you do return to human."
"I'm not," Kissy Koopa muttered as she closed her suitcase. Karma could still feel the same notions of emotion; Kissy's heartstrings were still not mended. They played not a single note... severed, ruined... and they needed to be mended.
"Kissy, Angela, I know you by now. You've got to get over me. There is a better man out there for you, and I may not have loved you, but any man who shall hold your heart is lucky, because you can give love in such quantities, even if the person doesn't love you. You have strong love. You'll find someone who will hold your heart, and you two will soar through life together."
"But it will take time. You will get the best for yourself, I'm sure. This is a battle, and you have to win; life is a battle you will win! Just keep your head held high, pray for that love, and keep walking forward. You'll find it! Wishes upon stars will work, just don't let your heart shatter any longer. I know you're in there, Kissy. I know you probably hate my guts for being with Ludwig, but that's just the way it is. It wouldn't have worked out for you two." Karma didn't sound like she was pleading in her voice, rather, there was a gentle urging. She was feeling a light in Kissy Koopa; the fire for living began to rekindle. She could feel Kissy's soul coming back, and her heartstrings ready to mend.
"But someone, some day, somehow, will love you, Angela. You'll find that man. He'll sweep you off your feet, and you will shower him with affection, and him with you. Even if the night winds will sing a lonesome lullaby for the time over the years, keep that hope inside. It needs to burn, you need to keep it in sight, and not let your dreams die. Just hang in there, and sooner or later, it will happen," Ludwig said rather poetically as Karma realized he'd just said something almost better than Shakespeare! He could be... Ludwig Shakespeare! Karma shook the thought from her head quickly. It mattered not.
"You've got to keep the future inside. You will spread your wings and fly, using all your heart and love, all the dreams, all the hopes and wishes. Don't ever let that flame die again. Kissy, you've got to fly on, and get over Ludwig. I know you will, knowing your will to hold one, and I know if you hang in there long enough, you'll be rewarded greatly. This battle has been, I'd suppose, won by me... in your sense... but you need to lick your wounds, spread those wings, and fly..." Karma saw a smile slowly bloom from Kissy's face as Karma returned it. They both looked to Ludwig as he smiled kindly at them as well. A pile of pink roses suddenly landed upon the bed. Three pink roses, as they all looked around.
"Kamek," Ludwig muttered as he still grinned shyly. Kamek appeared right beside him, his mischevious but pleased smile broadening even more as it now took up his entire face.
"Pink. Mix red and white; you get pink. Friends love each other in a different way, and are sorry when they do something wrong, but true friendship will never die, as they will love and they will forgive. There may not be true love between all three of you, but there is a bond that can also be unbreakable." The three children looked at each other, somewhat confused. Kamek had a serious look upon his face.
" A three-way Metbond?" Karma asked.
"No. Friendship is unbreakable if you three will make it be so." And with that, Kamek disappeared, leaving the three to finish this up themselves.
"Well, Kissy. We're willing, more than willing, to be your friends," Ludwig stated as Kissy smiled again, the color returning to her sullen eyes. Karma smiled too as she picked up one of the roses and handed it to Kissy. Karma handed Ludwig one and Ludwig handed her one. They all then exchanged their roses until none of the three could remember which rose had been whose originally. They all then began to laugh as they hugged. Kamek stood in the doorway, pleased with the way his matchmaking was turning out. He then turned and officially left them, feeling his work here was officially done... for now. Of course, he knew, in the game of life, nothing was ever officially done for.

The next day, the sun arose, and everyone was surprisingly in a pleasant mood. Karma, Kissy, and Ludwig had gathered outside Kastle Koopa, waiting for the rest of the family to arrive and say their goodbyes.
"Well..." Kissy paused, recollecting all the hatred that had once been in her. She couldn't seem to find that any more though; it was gone. She had really learned something here. and it was only thanks to the two who had caused her the pain in the first place.
"I guess... this is goodbye." Ludwig seemed almost reluctant as Karma nodded.
"For now, at least."
"Certainly, I might come back." Kissy smiled as she eyed the pink rose in her hand. The rest of the Koopa Clan began to follow outside, pleased to see no bickering was going on for now. Everything was settled at Kastle Koopa.
"Angela, er, Kissy. Where will you go?" Karma asked. Kissy shrugged. Sunny emerged with her backpack and nodded to Kissy that she was ready to go.
"I will go where my heart takes me.
Sunny will be looking for a place to stay, and we will probably end up
going our separate ways, sooner or later," Kissy claimed as all the Koopa
Clan began their goodbyes. The sun was shining, a light of hope that Kissy
would probably follow until all the end of time. Love was hotter than that
sun; light from the soul and heart were brighter, but it was still a beacon
of hope that would shine to all who would let it in. And it was a hope
that was perhaps created from the things that surpassed it...
This story is hereby dedicated to all the brokenhearted who eventually let go of their pain and moved on. Those who stay and weep over their broken bonds will never get anywhere, as one must move on after the pain has struck, even if it will always linger on. Those who stay and never heal themselves are truly weak; those who move on will surely find what they seek sooner or later. It's always out there, you just have to go and find it.
The End
