Prologue: The Time of Darkness
Mario: This record’s hot!
Mario is playing a music tune that is annoying Luigi.
Luigi: Can you turn that down?
Mario: What?
Luigi: TURN IT DOWN!
Mario: Can’t hear you!

Elvin Gadd (E. Gadd for short) comes in the house.
Elvin Gadd: Luigi, Mario, something is wrong.
Mario turns the music off.
Mario: What?
E. Gadd: Anyone see my book?
Luigi: NO!
Mario: What kind of question is that?
E. Gadd leaves and Toadsworth comes out.
Luigi: Sheesh.
Toadsworth: Mario! Luigi! Dark Land is closing in!
Mario: Umm…
Toadsworth: The Mushroom Kingdom is in Dark Land’s control!
Luigi: Let’s-a go then.
Mario: Yep.
They go outside and head for Mushroom Castle, where they see a dark portal sucking everything up.
Mario: What’s that?
Toadsworth: I don’t know!
Peach: Mario, Luigi!
Luigi: Peach!
???: Hahahahahahaha!!!
Mario: What?
Bowser: It’s me, Bowser! I’m the one responsible!
Luigi: And you’re telling us… why?
Bowser: I don’t know.
Mario: So the dark portal sucked up five things in each room so far… there are about 19 or 26 rooms in here… how much did it suck up?
Bowser: I don’t know, dude, I’m not good at math.
They all get sucked into the portal… The Mushroom Kingdom blacks out, becoming Dark Kingdom or… something… Anyway, Mario and Luigi wake up in a desert.
Luigi: Oh, my back…
Mario: Where are we?
???: Who wants to know?
Luigi: Your mom.
???: Well modda, me no telling you. Me, Yoshi…
Luigi: Yoshi!
Mario: Yoshi… That name rings a bell…
A bell rings.
Mario: Didn’t see that comin’.
Yoshi: Anyway… Hey, you’re Mario and Luigi! Hey you guys!
Luigi: Hello, Yoshi.
Yoshi: I was worried about you guys since I heard the Mushroom Kingdom blacked out!
Mario: Aren’t you supposed to be on the island?
Yoshi: Bowser take Yoshi Island, Yoshi run to here.
Luigi: You’ve grown up… you owe me five dollars.
Yoshi: Yeah…
Mario: Now what?
Yoshi: Yoshi heard about five gems that can beat the dark and restore piece.
Luigi: How’d you know?
Yoshi: Bowser tell me.
Mario: And he doesn’t tell us…
Luigi: Let’s a-go find them!
Yoshi: I got a map.
Yoshi reveals a map. Some parts of the map are marked.
Mario: The marked spaces must tell where the five gems are!
Yoshi: Yep.
Luigi: So the first place is Dry Dry Ruins…
Mario: I went there before.
Yoshi: Let’s go.
They continue forward, beating up every person they see until they see Chuck Quizmo.
Chuck: Hey guys. Ready for a quiz?
Mario: No.
Chuck: Too bad.
They warp to the quiz place and Mario is up.
Chuck: Where did you find Yoshisaur? You know. The one in that Dinosaur Land…? Dome City ring a bell?
A bell rings.
Mario: That’s the second time that thing rang.
Luigi: I know!
Chuck: You can switch to Luigi but Luigi can’t switch.
Mario: Okay.
Mario and Luigi switch.
Luigi: I found him in the underground where lava runs. In Dinosaur Land. I hit a block and found Baby Yoshi.
Chuck: You got it correct. GET OUT OF HERE!
They warp back and Chuck disappears.
Luigi: What’s
his problem?
Chapter 1: Storming the Desert Ruins
They enter Dry Dry Outpost to meet a mouse.
Mousimillian: Hello. Welcome to the Dry Dry Outpost.
Mario: You got a store here?
Mousimillian: Sadly, no, I replaced it with a hair salon.
The mouse shows his hair and it’s all spiky like the rock stars’.
Luigi and Yoshi: Cool!
Mousimillian: You bet. The salon is just east from where you are standing. When you see a sign, go in.
Luigi rushes into the salon and 30 minutes later, he comes back like a rock star.
Luigi: Check out the hair.
Mario: So?
Luigi: Gotta protect the royal hair style.
Some guy jumps on Luigi and ruins his hair.
Luigi: Darn. I want my money back!
Yoshi: Let’s go to Ruins.
Mario: Yeah, let’s go.
They head for the Ruins only to see Kolorado.
Kolorado: Hello. You seen something rare lately?
Luigi: No.
Yoshi: Where the Ruins?
Kolorado: It warped somewhere in the desert.
Mario: Great…
Kolorado: Wait, let me travel with you guys.
Mario, Luigi, Kolorado, and Yoshi go around the desert and they finally see it.
Luigi: FINALLY!!!
Mario gets jacked by Bandits that run away.
Mario: Come back here, jerks!
Mario chases after them. Luigi follows.
Luigi: COME BACK, MARIO! FORGET THE COINS!
Mario and Luigi approach the Bandits and do battle.
Mario: DIE!
Mario jumps on them and Luigi tosses them to a spiky, round monster.
???: Grr…
Bandits: Busted…
Luigi and Mario: RUN!
They run until they see a guy with a wrench. Mario and Luigi steal the wrenches and approach to continue the battle.
Bandits: Let’s team up.
???: Fine.
Luigi: Let’s play the Pokey-Pummel!
???: Anything but that.
Mario and Luigi attack him and the monster dies.
Bandit: Crud.
Mario: TAKE THIS!
Mario and Luigi drop the wrenches and chase them. Meanwhile, Yoshi, and Kolorado wait.
Kolorado: When are they comin’?
Yoshi: Don’t know-
The Bandits crash into them and carry them. They run into the Ruins while Mario and Luigi chase them.
Bandits, Yoshi, and Kolorado: AHHH!!!
The Bandits crash and fly out the window. Yoshi and Kolorado go into a Chain Chomp Lair, and Mario and Luigi follow them.
Mario: Dang, we lost them.
Luigi: Yep… Hey, a treasure chest.
Kolorado: A what?!
Yoshi: Treasure.
Luigi opens the chest and Mario and Luigi grab the hammers.
Mario: Yes!
Kolorado: Oh, just dumb hammers.
???: HAHAHAHAHA!
Mario and Luigi: What?
Tutankoopa appears.
Tutankoopa: You’ve fallen to my trap!
A Chain Chomp appears and fights them.
Yoshi: Watch out!
Yoshi swallows the Chain Chomp and spits it back at Tutankoopa. The Chain Chomp dies.
Tutankoopa: Darn. What brings you here?
Mario: We’re looking for a gem.
Tutankoopa: THE GEM?! No one gets it until they beat me… at checkers!
Luigi: Say what?
Yoshi and Kolorado: What?
Mario: I thought we were fighting.
Tutankoopa: Too bad. It isn’t like any checkers, it’s a war!
They warp somewhere and they all become checker pieces, except it’s really chess pieces. Mario is a king, Luigi is a knight, Kolorado is a horseman, Yoshi is a knight like Luigi, and on the rival’s side is Tutankoopa as the king.
Luigi: This isn’t checkers!
Yoshi: This is chess!
Tutankoopa: Oh… You go first.
Kolorado moves, then Tutankoopa’s knight kills him.
Mario: What the?
Mario moves forward in front of Luigi. Tutankoopa warps in the middle of the back.
Yoshi: No fair!
Yoshi eats a lot of the rivals.
Tutankoopa: Hey! I challenge you to a duel!
Tutankoopa VS Yoshi
Yoshi eats him. YOSHI WINS! … Tutankoopa fled!
Luigi uses Green Fire and kills all the other rivals.
Mario: Let’s duel!
Mario VS Tutankoopa.
Mario stabs Tutankoopa with a spear, then reinforcements arrive! Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi stab Tutankoopa with swords and spears until he dies.
Mario: Die, you piece of blue cheese!
When Tutankoopa dies, they warp back to the ruins.
Luigi: We win.
Yoshi: HOBO JOE!
Mario: What…?
Mario goes into Tutankoopa’s bathroom to see that the gem is in the showerhead. Mario pulls it out and a flood starts.
Mario: RUN!!!
Luigi and Yoshi: Why?!
Mario: FLOOD!!!
Luigi and Yoshi: RUN!!!
The heroes run until the water is up to their mouths.
Mario: We’re not gonna make it!
Luigi: Mario! Go to…
Yoshi: Luigi…!
Luigi and Yoshi drowned.
Mario: No! Is this the end of the Mario Bros. including Yoshi?
Mario drowns.
Three hours later…
It is evening. Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are on sand. The flood has dried out. They all wake up confused.
Mario: Where…? Who…?
Luigi: Mario? … Yoshi?
Yoshi: Me… hungry… Seeing food… Must eat…
Yoshi eats Luigi’s hat.
Luigi: Yoshi!
Mario: You can’t eat that!
Yoshi: Sorry…
Luigi: Now um… tell me you didn’t eat that.
Yoshi: Luigi’s hat taste like meatball! Yoshi hate meatball!
Yoshi spits it out and Luigi cleans it.
Luigi: So, where’s the gem?
Mario: Oh it’s… Hey you!
Mario points to a Bandit who has the gem.
Mario: Give me that! Trade you it for… ten of Luigi’s coins.
The Bandit agrees. Luigi takes the gem out of the Bandit’s hand and the heroes run to the Outpost without paying him back.
Luigi: Sucker…
Yoshi: Four more to go. We got Earth Gem.
Mario: We need a bag…
Mouse: Free bag!
Luigi: Me! I want it!
The mouse gives it to Luigi and they put the gem into the bag.
Mario: So… the next place is Petal Meadows in Hooktail’s Castle.
Luigi: Let’s-a
go then!
Chapter 2: Tails of Hundreds of Enemies
The heroes are walking on the road through the Petal Meadows.
Luigi: Man, that was a long walk.
Yoshi: It began through Rogueport.
Mario: Yeah.
The heroes walk until they find a Koopa.
???: Hey you!
Luigi: What?
???: I challenge all three of you to a battle!
Mario: Fine!
Koopa (50): Take this!
The Koopa shell-bashes all of them.
Mario (15) and Yoshi (14): You’re going to regret that!
Mario gets on top of Yoshi and takes out his cape. Then he slaps the Koopa with his cape and Yoshi spits him through the air while Luigi jumps and Super Jump Punches him.
Luigi (15): Give up?
Koopa (40): Just getting started green dude!
The Koopa shell-bashes Luigi, then throws Luigi to Yoshi, who falls into Mario.
Luigi (7): Shoot… he’s good!
Mario (9): Not good enough!
Mario and Luigi do a spin jump on the Koopa. Yoshi jumps on him and the Koopa gets stuck on the ground, dizzy.
Koopa (25): Man… that hurt…
The heroes do a combo jump. Mario jumps first on him, then Luigi, then finally Yoshi.
Koopa (5): Not givin’ up yet!
The Koopa gets up, takes off his shell, and throws it at the heroes. Then when it comes to its end, it turns back and damages them like a boomerang.
Luigi (2): Impressive…
Mario (3): Yeah…
Yoshi (2): This isn’t working.
Luigi jumps on the Koopa. Then Yoshi finishs the Koopa off with a ground pound.
Koopa: Ahh… So this is what losing feels like… losing…
The heroes win!
???: You’re good. I’m Master Kung Fu Koopa. Call me Koopster.
Luigi: Okay… So, Koopster, why did you fight us?
Koopster: This land is in danger from those darn monsters at Hooktail’s Castle. I must train harder to save my land!
Mario: Hooktail… Bonetail… and Gloomtail… How did they return?
Koopster: Some person named “Shadow Queen” revived them.
Yoshi: What?
Mario: I killed the Shadow Queen! Impossible… How did she… or is she a he? I don’t know.
Koopster: He allied with Bowser to take over the world. Some say the Shadow Queen was revived by Kamek.
Luigi: So… let’s go. Standing here is a waste of time!
Koopster: Let me join you. I appear to have lost energy from that fight but I can still fight like a man!
Yoshi: Yoshi is going to lay the fight off for now. When you need me in a fight, call me in, all right?
Luigi and Mario: Sure.
Koopster: There’s three cabins through the trees. That’s where I came from.
The heroes go to the cabin. They go to his house and rest. Afterwards, a Koopa tells them something.
Koopa: Master Koopster, I have something for your allies. Here.
The Koopa gives the heroes a message machine that can download Email.
Mario: Nice…
Luigi: Wish it could download music.
Yoshi: Yeah… it would be a hit!
Koopster hits Yoshi.
Yoshi: Hey!
Koopster: Sorry.
They go into Hooktail’s Castle, to find a hole they go into. It is dark but thanks to Luigi’s fireball, they can see.
Yoshi: It’s dark…
Koopster: Don’t be afraid.
Mario: That will make it worse.
Luigi: Look out!!!
Hundreds of small boney, gloomy, hooky monsters are gathering a circle around them.
Luigi: Um… Was it something I said?
The armies head toward Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Koopster. It is battle time.
Mario: Yoshi, help us!
Yoshi: Ok!
The heroes clash in the darkness, beating up monsters on by one. Then Hooktail shows up with more monsters.
Luigi (20): DIE!
Luigi throws a monster into Hooktail, who falls on some of the monsters.
Hooktail (95): Grr… BROTHERS!!!
Gloomtail and Bonetail show up.
Mario: It’s four to three.
Koopster (20): Eat this!
Koopster does his boomerang throw with his shell at the Tail Monsters.
Bonetail (95): GRR!
Bonetail slaps them all with his boney tail.
Yoshi (15): Ahh…
Koopster lifts Luigi, who lifts Mario, who lifts Yoshi, who swallows Hooktail and Gloomtail and spits them at Bonetail.
Mario (15): Yeah!
Mario fireballs them all.
Gloomtail (80): Secret Weapon now!
The tail monsters blow fire at them. The other creatures go after the heroes and bite them.
Mario (6): AHHH!!!
Luigi (5): Too much damage!
Yoshi( 5): NO!!!
Koopster (7): Only you can do this… Stop them!!!
Koopster takes out the sacred fire gem and blows fire at all the enemies.
Luigi (5): You have the gem?!
Koopster (7): Yep.
Mario (6): So, we can use our earth gem as a weapon!
Mario uses the power and an earthquake shakes the enemies. All the creatures are wiped out.
Hooktail (40): Grr… MULTI-FIRE!!!
The monster spits fire at once but Koopster throws the gem at the fire and the gem absorbs the energy.
Yoshi (5): Cool!
Yoshi takes the fire gem and releases the fire the gem had absorbed at the monsters.
Bonetail (40): Grr…
Hooktail (10): Ouch…
Gloomtail (20): Ow…
The Tails shake the ground, causing the gems to fall. Bonetail takes them and aeats them.
Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Koopster: NO!!!
Hooktail (10): Hahaha!
Luigi throws Mario at Hooktail.
Mario (6): Take this!
Hooktail (5): Oh… can’t fight.
Koopster shellbashes Hooktail and Hooktail is defeated.
Bonetail and Gloomtail: NO!
Bonetail summons hundreds of creatures again.
Yoshi (5): Oh no!
Yoshi swallows five creatures and spits them at Bonetail.
Bonetail (15): I’ll smash you!
Bonetail punches Yoshi and Yoshi is defeated.
Yoshi: Yoshisaur failed… Luigi… Mario…
Luigi (5): I’ll kill you for that!!!
Luigi picks up Bonetail’s tail and throws him at Gloomtail.
Bonetail (5): FINAL ATTACK!!!
Gloomtail (20): NOW!!!
Bonetail shoots the elements of the gems and Mario and Luigi are defeated.
Koopster (1): Thanks, souls… for giving me another chance… Hey! The gems!
Koopster picks
up the gem and uses their powers.
Bonetail and
Gloomtail are defeated.
Koopster (1): The creatures are coming…
The creatures appear and go after Koopster, strangling him.
Koopster (1): Can’t…
Koopster sacrifices his life for Luigi with the power of the gems.
Luigi (20): Good timing!
Luigi fireballs all the creatures, leaving one standing.
Creature: You die…
The creature goes after Luigi and absorbs his life.
Luigi (10?): Can’t die here…
Luigi grabs the creature and throws it into Bonetail’s mouth.
Luigi Wins!
The monsters disappear and the fire gem is collected.
Luigi: Come on, guys, let’s get you home.
Luigi carries the others to the cabin, where they rest. After they are cured, Koopster explained about the sacrifice.
Koopster: Sacrificing takes all the gem’s power and you are unable to use the power for awhile.
Yoshi: That’s a good effect except the last part.
Suddenly, the Email machine beeps.
Luigi: We got a message from the Toads.
Toad Voice:
Dear Mario, Luigi
and whoever else is there, us Toads are safe. But the princess has been
captured by Bowser and the Shadow Queen. Us Toads escaped to Rogueport,
where we play cards and drink soda.
Bye…
Mario: They’re in Rogueport!
Luigi: Let’s stop by Rogueport when we go after the third gem.
Yoshi opens the map.
Koopster: It’s at the Underwater Blooper City, where friendly fellows greet other people except the bad ones…
Mario: Let’s go!
Chapter 3: The New Tournament
The heroes walk until they meet a stranger in Rogueport.
Stranger: Hey you, want to enter a tournament? It’s at Petalburg. First prize is the champion belt, but in order to get it you must defeat the champion and the others.
Yoshi and Mario: Nope.
Luigi and Koopster: Yeah!
Mario: What?! Are you insane?
Luigi: Come on. You went into tournaments in your adventure.
Mario: So?!
Koopster: We just want to spread our names.
Yoshi: *sigh* Okay…
Mario: We’ll go to the west side and say hello or something.
Stranger: All right. Follow me.
The stranger leads them to the tournament. But as they go, the stranger tells one of Bowser’s minions to get to Mario and Yoshi and destroy them.
Later, in the Ready Room…
Stranger: All right. When you are ready, go fight.
Koopster: Okay.
The stranger leaves.
Luigi: I got a bad feeling about this.
Koopster: Why?
Luigi: Petal Meadows is near Petalburg, right?
Koopster: Yeah.
Luigi: We didn’t see Petal Meadows or even recognize the path we took here.
Koopster: It must be a plan to destroy Mario and Yoshi.
Luigi: Yeah, let’s ditch this place!
They run to the exit but the guards kick them into the battle arena.
Luigi: Darn.
Koopster: Looks like we’re expected.
???: MATCH 1!!! The Losers Vs The Cool Koopas.
Luigi: We’re not losers!
The Cool Koopas come and attack them. Meanwhile, Mario and Yoshi were captured by the Koopas and pushed into the sea.
Yoshi: It was a trap!
Mario: We’ve got to tell Luigi and Koopster.
A monster comes and starts chasing them.
Mario: OH NO!!! A CHEEP CHEEP ARMY!!!
They run down into the sea, where they struggle in their fight.
Mario (20): You can’t beat what you can’t outshine… That came out wrong.
Yoshi tries to swallow a Cheep Cheep but swallows the water instead, giving him a headache.
Yoshi (20, Dizzy condition): Yoshi no feel good.
Mario punches a Cheep Cheep but his fist gets caught in its mouth.
Mario (20): Get off me!
The Cheep Cheeps bring them even deeper into the sea. Back to the Loser Team…
???: MATCH 1! The Loser Team wins!
Luigi: Oh yeah! Luigi wins again!
Koopster: So?
???: MATCH 2! Vs the Platinum Metal.
Luigi: The what?
Platinum monsters come in and fight them.
Koopster (20): They look tough.
Koopster throws one of them out of the field. Luigi throws another. Then the monsters chomp them.
Luigi (10): Ouch… Time for gem power!
Stranger: Too bad. You can’t. Tournament rules.
Koopster (10): Why I oughta…
Koopster throws the stranger into the monsters and the monsters get defeated.
Luigi (10): Um….
Koopster (10): We… win?
Crowd: BOO!!!
Luigi (10): We hate you, too!!!
???: MATCH 3! Vs the Shadow Sirens.
Koopster and Luigi: Oh no…
Vivian: Oh yes!
Back to Mario and Yoshi.
Yoshi (5): We can’t defeat them, Fred!
Mario(10): My name is Mario!!!
The Cheep Cheeps had gobbled up half of their bodies.
Yoshi (4): We’re not gonna make it!
Mario (9): Wait! We still have the earth gem!
Mario used the earth gem. The earthquake makes a huge, dirty splash on them.
Yoshi (4): We’re free!
Mario (9): Let’s fight!
Mario finds a ? Block and hits it. Then Mario gets a fire cap.
Fire Mario (20): Let’s heat this up a bit!
Fire Mario shoots fireballs at the Cheep Cheeps.
Fire Mario (20): Almost forgot my hammer.
Fire Mario goes near the Cheep Cheeps and hits them with the hammer.
Yoshi (4): My turn!
Yoshi throws eggs at the Cheep Cheeps. Then they are all dead.
Fire Mario and Yoshi: YES!
They see a Bullet Bill charging at them.
Mario: Oh no! My fire ability is running out! RUN!
Mario and Yoshi run for their lives. They catch air and swim fast to the surface. The Bullet Bills are catching up to them.
Yoshi: Oh no!
Mario: We’re not gonna make it!
Soon some dolphins come up and carry them up to the surface. Then they get off.
Mario: Thanks, guys.
Yoshi: We got to find Luigi and Koopster!
Back to Luigi and Koopster…
Koopster (6): We’re taking a beating.
Luigi (4): Not yet!
Luigi throws Vivian at Beldam, who slams into Marilyn.
Beldam (13): Vivian! What’s the deal? Go and attack them!!!
Vivian (10): Sorry…
The Shadow Sirens form together and blast them back.
Luigi (2): Mario!
Koopster (2): Yoshi!
Luigi and Koopster (2): Wherever you are, HELP!!!
Back outside the arena, Mario and Yoshi hear them.
Yoshi: Hurry!
Mario: Come on!
They run into the stadium. Back to Luigi and Koopster…
Vivian (10): Wait… you know Mario?
Luigi (2): Of course I do! I’m his brother!
Vivian(10): Mario was the only one who was nice to me when he was on his adventure to get the Crystal Stars… I’m helping you guys now!
Beldam (13): Traitor!
Vivian casts Fiery Jinx at them and the other Shadow Sirens get burned.
Beldam (8, Burned Condition): Shoot. Marilyn, get them!
Marilyn (9, Burned Condition): Right. Begone!
The two Shadow Sirens blast Luigi and Koopster but Vivian hides them in the shadows.
Luigi (2): Thanks.
Koopster (2): Now lets finish them!
Luigi, Koopster, and Vivian beat the Shadow Sirens up with punching and kicking while Luigi hits them with his hammer.
Beldam (1, Burned Condition): Shoot. I…
Beldam loses her last HP thanks to the burned condition.
Marilyn (1, Burned Condition): Sister!
Marilyn dies because of the burned condition.
Vivian: We win!
Crowd: BOO!!!
Koopster: Quiet! We hate you too!
???: MATCH 3! LOSERS WIN!!!
Luigi: For the last time. WE ARE NOT LOSERS!
???: MATCH 4!!! LOSERS Vs RAWK HAWK!!!
Luigi: Who?
Rawk Hawk: Get ready to get RAWKED!!!
Koopster (2): Bring it!
Luigi (2): Come on!
Rawk Hawk shocks the arena, causing some stones to fall into the arena.
Vivian (10): Look out!
Vivian hides them in the shadows and releases them behind Rawk Hawk.
Rawk Hawk (60): Huh?
Vivian casts Fiery Jinx on Rawk Hawk and Luigi throws him into a wall.
Rawk Hawk (50, Burned Condition): …
Luigi (2): Loser!
Rawk Hawk (50, Burned Condition): Did you ever see a loser do this?
Rawk Hawk slides and hits Luigi and Koopster.
Luigi and Koopster (0): No…
Vivian (10): Oh no!
Vivian punches Rawk Hawk.
Rawk Hawk (45, Burned Condition): You little…
Mario: Vivian!
Mario and Yoshi enter the arena.
???: Look at this, folks! Gonzales is backing them up!
Rawk Hawk (45, Burned Condition): NO!!!
Yoshi Kid (from the crowd): Gonzales?
The Yoshi Kid throws Mini Eggs at Rawk Hawk.
Rawk Hawk (45, Burned Condition): Hey!
Mario (20): Prepare to lose again!
Yoshi (20): Yeah… you beat him once?
Mario and Yoshi ground pound Rawk Hawk.
Rawk Hawk (34, Burned Condition): Ouch… you little…
Vivian casts Shade Fist on Rawk Hawk.
Rawk Hawk (28, Burned Condition): I’m going to defeat you guys!
Rawk Hawk hangs on a bar and shakes it. Rocks fall onto Mario, Yoshi, and Vivian.
Mario (10): When did you get more powerful?

Mario jumps on Rawk Hawk and Rawk Hawk loses.

???: Final Match!!! Gonzales Vs Magnus 3.0 Improved!
Mario (10): Magnus!
Yoshi (10): Who?
The stranger comes in.
Mario (10): You… you’re Lord Crump!!!
The stranger reveals his identity, and he is Lord Crump.
Lord Crump: You fell for my disguise!
Mario (10): Yeah, I did. I thought you were fatter!
Lord Crump: Quiet you! Magnus! Come!
Lord Crump goes into his Magnus 3.0
Lord Crump: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Magnus 3.0 (100): Die.
Magnus chops Yoshi.
Yoshi (7): That was weak.
Lord Crump: Darn! I forgot to install the power machine!
Mario (10): Hello… What do we have here?
Mario sees a wire and removes it.
Magnus (30): Hey!
Lord Crump: Hey, that was my fuel recharge!
Magnus double-chops Mario.
Mario (4): So you want to fight like that?!
Mario jumps on Magnus and Yoshi breaks the window and swallows Lord Crump and spits him into Magnus.
Lord Crump: DO NOT do that again OR ELSE.
Magnus (18): You die.
Magnus uses his rocket arms on Mario and Yoshi.
Mario (0): No…
Mario loses.
Yoshi (1): Mario!
???: Look at this, folks! Gonzales has fallen.
The crowd gasps.
Magnus (18): Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. You’re going to die.
Yoshi (1): Robot
don’t defeat Yoshi, Yoshi defeat robot!!!
Yoshi swallows
Magnus, twirls around, and then lets go of Magnus, sending him high in
the air and falling.
Magnus (1): That hurt.
Lord Crump: Finish him off!
Yoshi (1): Oh no…
Magnus suddenly gets killed.
Lord Crump: Darn! Out of gas… I knew I should’ve stopped by the gas station…
???: It was a miracle folks! Gonzales wins!!!
The crowd cheers.
Yoshi(1): Yoshi… won…
Yoshi faints and some Toads carry them to a resting place in Rogueport. When they wake up, they ask a question to the Toads.
Mario: Where exactly was the tournament?
Toad: It was in the middle of some fields.
Luigi: So… on to our next gem!
Vivian: So, where is it?
Luigi: Looks like it’s on the Pudding Continent, in the Rumblebump Volcano near the Blooper Town… I went there before…
Yoshi: Let’s go

Chapter 4: Traveling
in the Hot Volcano
Mario, Luigi,
Yoshi, Koopster, and Vivian travel to the Pudding Continent to find the
gem. They go through deep water to find the town. Mario points down. They
go down and suddenly they fall to a ground.
Luigi: (spitting out water) How’d that happen?
Luigi goes further without waking up the fainted others. He goes toward a rock and the rock is pushed and he falls down a hole. Then Mario wakes up.
Mario: Where am I? Where’s Luigi?
Mario walks around and falls into a hole. Then Koopster and Yoshi wake up.
Koopster: Mario?
Yoshi: Luigi?
Koopster and Yoshi walk until they fall into a hole. Then Vivian wakes up.
Vivian: Where’s everybody?
Vivian looks around and falls down a hole.
Vivian: AHHHHH!!!!
She ends up with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Koopster.
Luigi: Keep quiet. The people will notice us.
Vivian: What people?
Luigi: The masai warriors.
Mario: What masai warriors?
Luigi: … Fine. It’s only Bloopers, okay? We’re going to take them by surprise.
Koopster: Why?
Luigi: Don’t know.
Yoshi: Wow…
Luigi: Wait… now! CHARGE!!!
Luigi runs in while Mario and the other just stand still.
Mario: Umm… Luigi?
Luigi bumps into a Blooper.
Luigi: Go… go… Luigi…
Luigi faints.
Blooper: Umm… Okay…
The Blooper takes Luigi to the Blooper Town Hotel while the rest follow. At the hotel, Mario and the others visit Luigi.
Mario: Luigi!
Blooper: Who are you people?
Mario: Umm…
Mario does his pose.
Mario It’s-a me, Mario!
Blooper: Umm… Mario? Never heard of you.
Mario falls.
Mario: YOU NEVER HEARD OF ME?!
Okay, maybe Mario just fell for nothing. Then Luigi wakes up.
Luigi: Where am I?
Blooper: In my hometown, Luigi.
Luigi looks at the Blooper and remembers him.
Luigi: Blooey!!!
Mario: Oh yeah, that Blooper who was with you when you were in Rogueport…
Blooey: Who’s he?
Luigi: The red one is Mario, my brother; that dinosaur looking creature is Yoshi, that Koopa is Koopster; and that ghost is Vivian.
Blooey: You have a weird crew.
Luigi: Anyway, I have to get to Rumblebump Volcano again. So nice chatting with you.
The Mario Co. is about to leave but Blooey speaks.
Blooey: Let me join!
Luigi: Okay.
Blooey joins the party!!!
Mario: Umm… okay… Let’s go quickly.
The Mario Co. goes to the volcano entrance.
Yoshi: Volcano look deep.
Koopster: Don’t worry, it won’t erupt… I think.
Vivian: Looks like it’s going to take time to go through.
Luigi: Let’s start moving.
The Mario Co. go on deep into the volcano. They jump over lava pits- well at least the rest of the people jumped. Vivian just walks right through. They walk until they see writings on the wall.
Blooey: This wasn’t here before.
Luigi: Quiet, the walls have ears.
Blooey: No they don’t.
Luigi: I’ll read
it:
Hot is and, sauce

Mario: That’s doesn’t make since!
Luigi: … This
is a backward code! Just say the words backwards to figure out what it
says. So it says:

water, can burn you, you can put as a sauce, and is hot… hmm…
Mario: Hot sauce?
A hole appears and Mario falls.
Yoshi: Umm… fire?
A hole appears and Yoshi falls.
Koopster: Fire Sprits?
A hole appears and Koopster falls too.
Vivian: Hmm… fire sauce… no… it’s-
A hole appears and Vivian falls into it too.
Blooey: What did she say?
A hole appears and Blooey falls down also.
Luigi: Isn’t is obvious? LAVA!!!!
The wall disappears and an entrance appeared. Mario and the others that fell appear.
Mario: What was the answer?
Luigi: Lava.
Mario: LAVA?! You can’t use that as a sauce!
Luigi: Good point.
They walk through until some guy appears.
Guy: Hello.
Koopster: Hi…
Guy: What are you looking for?
Yoshi: A gem.
Guy: Here.
The guy gives Yoshi the water gem.
Luigi: Water gem? What kind of-
A statue falls down. It is wearing a blue gem.
Vivian: Isn’t that the…
Blooey: This gem Yoshi’s holding is a fake!!!
Mario throws the gem in the lava.
Mario: Rip off!!!
Mario throws the guy at the statue, then suddenly the statue comes alive.
Statue: You disturbed me… INTRUDER!!!
The statue throws the guy all the way back to the entrance.
Mario (20): Here we go!!!
Mario jumps on the gem but there is no effect.
Mario (20): What?
Blooey (20): It’s all me here!
Blooey spits ink and jumped at the gem, causing damage.
Statue (180): Idiot.
The statue knocks out Blooey and Mario in one hit.
Mario and Blooey (0): Oh no…
Luigi (20): Oh shoot.
Luigi and Koopster use all the gem powers to hit the statue.
Statue (120): You die too.
The statue defeats Luigi and Koopster.
Yoshi (20): Umm… Yoshi?
Yoshi gulps the statue and spits it into the lava.
Statue (80): You die too.
The statue defeats Yoshi.
Vivian (20): It’s up to me!
Vivian casts Fiery Finx at the statue.
Statue (50): Hmm… You want to die too? Okay…
The statue tries to defeat Vivian but Vivian hides in the shadows.
Vivian (20): I could’ve done that to the others.
Vivian uses Shade Punch on the gem.
Statue (30): DIE!!!
The statue attacks so fast that Vivian can’t hide this time. She was so lucky that she still lives.
Vivian(1): I’d better defeat him…
Vivian Shade Punches the gem.
Statue (10): Now end this.
The statue knocks out Vivian. And that is it. Their lives are over. Game over for them. It seems evil has won… or has it? The guy who ripped the good guys off comes back and keeps on punching the statue.
Statue (10): Umm…
The statue finishes him off.
Guy (0): I did as I wanted to do…
Statue: Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.
The statue explodes and the gem revives the guy. How did he explode? Well from a mine the guy put on the statue’s arm when the statue punched him.
Guy: I win!!! Now, to get the guys out of here.
Then he hears the volcano shake.
Guy: … Oh no! IT’S GONNA BLOW!!!
The guy carries the heroes and runs as fast as he can. He runs so fast that when he gets to the exit, he wants to take a 2-hour break but he keeps running. The volcano explodes after the guy gets out, and the guy goes to Rogueport. In the resting place, the heroes wake up.
Luigi: Did we win?
The guy comes in with the gem.
Guy: Yes, you did.
The guy gives Luigi the gem.
Guy: Here’s a gift. I owe you since I ripped you off with that fake one.
Mario: Thanks!
Luigi got the water gem!!!
They look at the map. The next one is at Boo’s Mansion… the mansion that used to be Luigi’s…
Luigi: Oh no… Not there.
Mario: Yes, there…
Chapter 5: The Friendship of a Ghost, and A Ghost Pet is Like the Glitters on Gold…
They walk into Luigi’s Mansion… I mean, the haunted mansion. They walk until they saw a Boo.
Boo: Don’t hurt us! I come in piece!
Luigi: Then give me the… (whispering to Koopster) What’s it called again?
Koopster: The Friendship Gem.
Luigi: Yeah, the Friendship Gem!
Mario: Just give it to us.
Boo: No…
Vivian: Why?
Boo: I lost my pet named Gary.
Yoshi and Blooey: You named it Gary?
Boo: Hey, I couldn’t think of anything else.
Mario: Okay…
Koopster: We’ll find it.
Then they start to search outside. They start to hang posters. When a Toad looks at one, he gets scared. Mario, Luigi, and Boo get on a jet plane and ride around so the clouds of the gas from the jet plane say “GARY COME HOME PLEASE!!!” Then a plane drives by and changs the clouds into “I HATE YOU! DON’T COME HOME!!!” While they search more, Luigi sings a song.
Luigi:
I might’ve forgotten
you,
But you know
our friendship is deeper then my heart…
I didn’t mean
to be mad at you or scowl you,
I just want you
to come home right now…
Please come home,
I plead everyday,
Without you,
every day isn’t the same,
So Gary, please
come home…
Mario: Umm… Why are you singing?
Luigi: Oh, umm… I want to… umm… increase our hopes? … Yeah.
Mario: Whatever…
Luigi keeps singing.
Luigi:
You know our
friendship is deeper than blue,
You might have
forgotten all the times we spent together but I won’t forget you…
Mario and the rest except Luigi: STOP SINGING!!!
Luigi: Sorry…
They keep searching. Days have passed and they haven’t found Boo’s pet. Every night, Boo cries. Vivian tries to cheer him up. Every day they make big signs that say “PLEASE COME HOME!!!” That doesn’t work. One day, Luigi goes back to Rogueport to see if anyone’s in trouble. But no one is. On his way back he meets a wild dog ghost.
Luigi (20): Nice ghost dog…
Dog (?): WUFF!!!
The dog tackles Luigi.
Luigi: Stop it!
The dog stops.
Luigi: I’m looking for a ghost pet named Gary. Did you see him?
Dog: WUFF!
Luigi: I’ll take that as a no.
Luigi walks away and the dog follows him.
Luigi: Stay, dog!
Dog: WUFF!!!
Luigi walks again but the dog keeps following him.
Luigi: I’m looking for a ghost pet named Gary, okay?
Luigi runs and the ghost dog goes into the forest. When Luigi comes back, Koopster told him that the missing pet is a dog.
Luigi: A dog…? A dog…? A DOG?!
Koopster: Yeah.
Luigi: I just met a ghost dog. He followed me when I said Gary…
Koopster and Luigi look at each other.
Luigi and Koopster: That’s Gary!!!
Luigi and Koopster go though the forest searching. Luigi whistles and Gary comes to him.
Luigi: There you are! I was looking for you.
Luigi sees a letter in Gary’s teeth.
Luigi: What’s this?
Luigi grabs the
letter and read it.
Luigi: “Boo,
the months and years I spent with you will always be times that I’ll remember.
But now I have to go to the place in the sky. I know you are crying and
would do anything to find me. But you won’t find me since I’m moving on.
You’ll see me when you go up in the sky too. The years will always be remembered
and was really fun. But now, it’s time to say goodbye. From, Gary the Ghost
Dog”
Luigi looks back at the dog. It is gone.
Luigi: He’ll miss you too.
Koopster finds Luigi.
Koopster: Luigi, what happened?
Luigi: Death is what happened… peaceful death.
Luigi and Koopster go back to the Boo. Luigi give the Boo the letter. Boo reads it and cries.
Boo: So it’s time for him to go to the old vet… Here’s the gem.
Koopster got the Friendship Gem!
Boo: Who said that?
Luigi: Don’t know.
Boo: I want to travel with you.
Mario and the others come over.
Mario: Okay.
Luigi: So our path is going to end. Only one gem remains.
They look at the map.
Yoshi: Mushroom Kingdom…
Blooey: Let’s go there.
Mario: We got
to anyway… It’s time to end this long search.
Chapter 6: There Will Always be Darkness and Always be Light
They crew goes to the Mushroom Kingdom. It is time to fight, and to get the final gem from Bowser. They go to the throne room of Peach’s Castle to meet Bowser.
Bowser: So, you made it.
Mario: Yeah we did!
Bowser (500): Let’s battle then.
Bowser grabs Mario and throws him to the wall.
Mario (15): Nice start!
Mario tosses Bowser to Boo.
Boo (15): Time to chomp.
Boo chomps on Bowser. Luigi, Koopster, Yoshi, and Vivian uses some of the gems’ power.
Bowser (490): Weak!
Mario and Luigi: What?!
Bowser uses his fire breath and finished off Vivian.
Vivian (0): I lost.
Koopster uses his shell toss on Bowser.
Bowser (488): Wow, you guys are weak.
Bowser used his ground pound on Koopster.
Koopster (0): I was unable to assist…
Luigi punches Bowser a lot of times.
Bowser (470): I’m bored.
Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi (10): Take this then!
Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi punch and kick Bowser. It doesn’t really affect him though.
Bowser (450): Should I end this now?
Yoshi (10): No.
Bowser (450): Fine, I’ll hurt you then!
Bowser shell tosses all of them.
Mario (1): It’s no use.
Luigi (1): I can’t…
The Friendship Gem is glowing. Then the rest of the gems also glow. Then, voices of everyone they met chee for them. They also heard Peach’s voice, which gives them strength.
Mario (100): You know whatm Bowser?
Luigi (100): There’s something you should have learned a long time ago.
Yoshi (100): It’s that…
Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi (100): Now matter how strong you are, you’ll never win!!!
Mario smashes Bowser to the ground and Luigi throws him to Yoshi. Yoshi gulps him and spit him out into Mario and Luigi’s fist.
Bowser (350): Impossible… I still can beat you!
Bowser uses his gem, The Gem of Almighty Power, and strikes Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi.
Luigi (65): One gem alone can’t win, you know.
Bowser (350): … Then I’ll take yours!
Bowser zooms across Mario and takes all the gems.
Mario (65): Hey!
Bowser (350): Gems unite!!!
Bowser uses all the gems and uses the ultimate blast on Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi.
Yoshi (1): No matter how hard you hit, we’ll always win!!!
Mario and Luigi use super jump punch on him until Bowser is high in the air, then Yoshi gulps him and tosses him to Luigi. Luigi uses Super Fire Jump Punch.
Bowser (100): That was impressive… but this will end!
Bowser uses all the gems’ power to strike Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. When they are hit, a cloud of smoke appears but the Mario Bros. and Yoshi are alive. Then the other people are revived.
Mario (1): You know what, Bowser? I’m starting to think you don’t know the true use of the five gems.
Mario tosses Bowser to the wall.
Luigi (1): The true use isn’t for power… It’s for…
All the Heroes: PROTECTING EACH OTHER AND FOR PEACE!!!
Bowser (50): So, that’s what it is for then… I no now without a doubt… that…
Luigi (1): Save your speech for later. It’s time to battle.
All the heroes hit Bowser.
Bowser (1): Ain’t over yet… TAKE THIS!!!
Bowser breathes fire at them. Mario and Luigi dodge it and do the final blow on Bowser.
Bowser (0): I lost again…
Bowser faints and the heroes celebrate. Peach is released and all the people who knew them seem to have known they could do it and win. They also celebrate. Amidst the celebration, Mario and Luigi go to the underground and put the gems in a locked pedestal.
Mario: No one can touch it or break the forces of the shield.
Luigi: Yeah.
Mario and Luigi go back to the Mushroom Kingdom. Their adventures have only just begun, but one day, the battles will be over…
