Chapter 5
When Mallow becomes conscious and wakes up, he finds himself somehow in Tadpole Pond. A familiar voice startles him. It is Frogfucious.
Frogfucious: Are you awake, young tadpole?
Mallow: Grandpa, is that you?
Frogfucious: I see you're ok.
Mallow: How did I get here?
Frogfucious: Well, before I say so, young tadpole, you should thank Lakitu. He found you drifting in the far corner of our pond. What was that all about?
Mallow: Oh no, I must get Mario quick!
Frogfucious: Why? Is something troubling you?
Mallow: A bunch of dragons destroyed my home!
Frogfucious: Oh dear, then you must get that cricket.
Mallow starts to run.
Frogfucious: Wait! You can't get to Mario while you're tired. At least drink some Froggie Drink.
Mallow: All right.
Mallow quickly finishes the Froggie Drink, and runs.
Mallow: Thanks, Grandpa. And tell Lakitu that I say thanks too.
Frogfucious: Be careful, young tadpole. Defeat the cause of terror and chaos.
Mallow runs from Tadpole Pond on his way to the Mushroom Kingdom. He manages to evade the enemies along the road, and finally reaches the Mushroom Kingdom. He runs to Peach's castle and barges in the main door of the entrance.
Mallow: I need Mario quick!
The Toads point the way, and Mallow rushes to where Mario is. He barge into the room Mario is in. Mario is not the only one in the room. Peach and some Toads are there also.
Mallow: Mario, I need your help!
Mario: What is-a it?
Mallow: A bunch of dragons came earlier and destroyed my homeland! They destroyed the castle, too.
Everyone in the room gasps.
Peach: Why would they do this?
Mario: And who-a did it?
Mallow: Wait, I recognized one of them. Remember that dragon we fought in that volcano near my homeland?
Mario: Czar Dragon?
Mallow: Yeah! There's also a skeleton dragon, a red dragon, a black dragon, and a light blue dragon.
Mario: Skeleton dragon? It must-a be Bonetail!
Mallow: Who's he?
Mario: He's that dragon my friends and I fought in-a the Pit of 100 Trials. The red dragon and the black dragon must-a be Hooktail and Gloomtail.
Mallow: What about the light blue dragon?
Mario: I don't remember-a fighting a light blue dragon. We must get to them!
Peach: But they've probably left and gone somewhere else. We don't know where they are now.
Suddenly, Mario's Mailbox SP starts ringing.
Mario; What? An Email-a at a time like this?
Mario opens his Mailbox SP and gasps.
Mario: It's from Goombella and she and the others are in trouble!
Mario reads the message.

Mario. This is
Goombella. The gang and I need your help! Bonetail, Gloomtail, Hooktail,
and two other dragons are destroying Rogueport! We are trying to hold them
off, but we can't do it without you. Hurry and come here quick!
Goombella

Mario: They're-a in Rogueport. We gotta get-a there quick!
Peach: Let's get Toadsworth.
Mario, Peach, and Mallow run to the throne room, where Toadsworth is.
Peach: Toadsworth, we need you to get us to Rogueport quick!
Toadsworth: What's wrong, Princess?
Peach: There's no time. I'll explain later.
Toadsworth leads
Mario, Peach, and Mallow to a cruiser, and orders the sailors to get them
to Rogueport. They set sail and head to Rogueport.
Chapter 6
While Mario, Peach, and Mallow are getting to Rogueport, there are people fighting the five dragons. They are Mario's friends, who were his partners: Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, Gonzales Jr, Vivian, Bobbery, and Ms. Mowz. They are trying to hold off the dragons' attempts to destroy Rogueport.
Koops: It's no use, there's too many of them.
Hooktail: You can't beat us now. And when I'm done with you, you'll be my next meal.
Goombella: That'll never happen- AUUGGH!
Bonetail bit Goombella from behind. Goombella tries to break free of Bonetail's grip, but can't. Bonetail's grip is too strong for her to break out of.
Goombella: Let me out.
Bobbery explodes on Bonetail, causing Bonetail to lose his grip and crash into a wall.
Bobbery: Take that, you old dragon.
Gloomtail stomps on Bobbery.
Gonzales Jr: Take this!
Gonzales Jr. ground pounds Hooktail. While he is ground pounding Hooktail, Vivian is throwing fire punches at Hooktail.
Hooktail: ACK!
Gloomtail: Hey, you have some nerve beating up my little sister. Let's see how you like the taste of my Megabreath.
Gonzales Jr: What the?
Vivain: Watch out!
Gloomtail breathes a charged fire breath (Megabreath) at Gonzales Jr. and Vivian, but Flurrie uses full power to blow against the fire breath, preventing the fire breath from reaching Flurrie, Vivian, or Gonzales Jr.
Gonzales Jr: Thanks.
Gloomtail suddenly stomps on both Flurrie and Gonzales Jr, while Czar Dragon breathes fire at Vivian.
Gloomtail: Not quick enough.
Ms. Mowz: But are you?
Ms. Mowz slaps Gloomtail, piercing him.
Gloomtail: AUUGH!
Ms. Mowz tries to make Gloomtail dizzy, but her attempts fail. Gyix Dragon freezes Ms. Mowz with his icy breath before she can make Gloomtail dizzy.
Bonetail: GRAAAAOOOOAR!
Bonetail whacks the frozen Ms. Mouz with his tail, sending Ms. Mowz crashing on the ground.
Vivian: Ms. Mowz!
Czar Dragon: Now that you two are together, let us freshen you guys up a bit.
Czar Dragon breathes fire at Vivian and the frozen Ms. Mowz. The fire breath defrosts Ms. Mowz, however.
Gyix Dragon: You idiot, fire melts ice, in case you haven't noticed.
Czar Dragon: What? Doesn't matter.
Gyix Dragon: Grrrr.
Bobbery: Is Mario here yet?
Goombella: I hope he gets my message. Otherwise, we're doomed.
Gyix Dragon: You're no match for all of us.
Gloomtail: Get ready for my Megabreath.
Vivian: We're doomed. No one can save us now.
Suddenly, fireballs come out of nowhere and hit the dragons.
Dragons: Yeow!
Gyix Dragon: Who did that?
A voice comes out of nowhere.
???: It's-a me!
Part 3: Away
Chapter 7
Goombella: Yes, I knew he'd show up soon.
The mysterious voice is Mario's. However, Mario isn't alone. Mallow and Peach are behind him as they're running toward the gang.
Peach: Is everything all right?
Ms. Mowz: All right? I was frozen! Is that all right, girlfriend?
Peach: Guess not.
Czar Dragon: So, the savior, Mario, has come to rescue his little friends.
Gyix Dragon: Too bad that won't happen. ATTACK!
Hooktail breathes fire at Mario, but he jumps over it to dodge. Gyix Dragon breathes ice at Mario while he's in midair, but Mario does somersaults to dodge the ice. Mallow summons a snowstorm, and a giant snowman lands on Czar Dragon.
Czar Dragon: AHH, TOO COLD!
Hooktail melts the giant snowman by breathing fire at it. Bonetail breathes fire at Mallow, which puts him to sleep.
Mallow: What? Zzzzzzzzzz...
Peach: Mallow, wake up!
Goombella: It's no use, Bonetail put him to sleep.
Mario smashes Bonetail while he's off guard. Koops slams Gloomtail with his shell.
Gloomtail: Ack!
Bonetail: ...!
Mallow wakes up.
Mallow: Huh? What happened?
Mario: No time.
Mario and Mallow gather with the others.
Gyix Dragon: Time to split, people.
Czar Dragon: So long!
Czar Dragon shoots flames at the gang, while Gyix Dragon shoots crystals. While the gang is distracted, Gloomtail is heading toward Peach.
Peach: Mario! Help!
Gloomtail snatches Peach and the dragons flee.
Peach: AHH! What are you going to do with me?
Gloomtail: You'll make a great hostage. Heh heh heh.
Peach: Mario!
Mario and the Gang: Peach!
The dragons soon disappear out of sight.
Mario: She's gone! We gotta find her!
Mallow: Let's get back to the ship!
The rest of the gang: Ship?
Mario and the gang hurry to the ship that carried Mario, Mallow, and Peach to Rogueport. Toadsworth is shocked to see them without Peach.
Toadsworth: Master Mario, where's the princess?
Mario: They took her!
Toadsworth: Oh no!
Goombella: Wherever they're going, they're not going anywhere near Rogueport.
Mario and the gang get in the ship. Toadsworth orders the sailors to set sail back to the Mushroom Kingdom. After hearing about the princess being kidnapped, everyone is worried.
