Chapter 14
As the dragons charge at them, Mario, his friends, and the Koopas start throwing attacks at them and getting ready. Mario is throwing hammers. Mallow summons a thunderbolt to shock them. Bobbery's fuse is lit up. Two small flames appear in Vivian's two hands. Lemmy is firing ice beam at the dragons from his Freeze Gun. Ludwig breathes fireballs at them. Roy and Bowser charge at the dragons. The other Koopalings fire beams from their magic wands. The dragons fly upward in order to dodge all of those attacks, then dive straight at the group while breathing fire at them. The group jumps out of the fire and the dragons' path. The dragons then separate, and breathe fire again. This time the group is hit and burned by the fire. However, they counter back and attack them. The dragons are hit by these attacks. They fly away from the rest of the attacks once they get hit. Czar breathes flames at the group. Most of the group dodge it except Bowser and Mario.
Goombella: Mario!
Gyix tries to solidify the others. The attack only hit Goombella because she was off guard. Mario and Bowser recover from the flames. Mario notices Goombella frozen. He knows that he must help her but the dragons might anticpate that move and attack him again. He tries to ignore her and hope that she'll be ok and break free of the ice that's imprisoning her. The others notice her imprisoned in ice, too.
Gloomtail: Mwahaha. Even with reinforcements, you'll still lose.
Mallow: Try this on for size!
Mallow summons another thunderstorm. The dragons are hit by the lightling and drop to the ground.
Gonzale Jr: Now you're going get it!
Roy: Eat this!
The group launch a series of attacks at the dragons. Roy punches the dragons and Koops slams at the dragons instead. The attacks sucessfully hit them. Bonetail then breathes fire at the group, hitting them before they can get a chance to dodge it. The dragons recover from the attacks and starts to fly again.
Bonetail: !!
Hooktail and Gloomtail breathe fire at the group while Czar summons a flame wall that heads straight towards the group. The group dodge the attacks from the dragons. At this moment, the ice that imprisons Goombella breaks apart. Goombella jumps out of the spot where she was imprisoned.
Koops: You're all right?
Goombella: Yeah...
Goombella gets in the battle. Wendy fires a beam at Hooktail. The beam hit Hooktail. Hooktail yelps and flies behind Gloomtail while he is charging up. Bonetail lands on the ground and tries to stomp on the group. He manages to stomp on Ms. Mowz and Flurrie. Ludwig tries to ram Bonetail, but Bonetail dodges. Gyix and Czar dive at the Koopas while Gloomtail is getting ready to use his Megabreath. Gyix and Czar get in close range to the Koopas and tackle them. Bowser however dodges and slashes Gyix and Czar with his claws. Gyix and Czar fly away from the group and join the three dragons in the sky.
Bowser: Cowards!
Gloomtail: Shut up.
Gloomtail unleashes a Megabreath at the group.
Larry, Lemmy, and Iggy: Get out of the way!
The group dodge the fire breath, although they are close to getting hit. Gloomtail yells with rage. Flurries tries to body slam the dragons while they are not that high. The dragons fly hgiher to dodge. Then they dive at the group again. Gyix breathes iceballs at Mario and the gang while Bonetail breathes a white fire breath at the Koopas. The attacks hit some of the group. Hooktail dives and attempts to squish Mario and the gang. They dodge Hooktail while Gonzales Jr. ground pounds Hooktail. Hooktail smacks Gonzale Jr. with her tail, sending him back. Gonzales crash into the Nimbus castle. Mario throws hammers at Hooktail, but Hooktail dodges and flies back to the dragons. The dragons breath fireballs at the group. They dodge.
Mallow: That's it.
Mallow summons a huge star to rain down at the dragons.
Gyix Dragon: What the?
The dragons are
completely caught off guard and the huge star crash onto them. The dragons
drop to the ground as the huge star bounces on them. Koops and Koops slam
the dragons. Mario does powerful jumps on the dragons. Lemmy fires ice
beams at the dragon. Roy smacks the dragons' wings with his fists. Bowser
slashes the dragons. Vivian throws fire punches at them. Ms. Mowz throws
powerful slaps at the dragons' faces. Gonzale Jr. ground pounds them. The
other Koopalings fire beams at them repeatedly. After a series of attacks,
the group stop attacking. The dragons seem to be unconscious.
Chapter 15
The group pauses and stays still for a moment.
Iggy: Did we beat them?
Morton: Maybe, probably, likely...
Vivian: Maybe we did beat them.
Mario: Maybe...
The group comes closer to the seemingly unconscious dragons. Suddenly, Czar and Gyix begin to shake. The group jumps back in shock.
Czar: Ugh...
Gyix: You think you defeated us? You're wrong!
Larry: What the?
Czar and Gyix slowly rise to the air. Their skin seem to be melting. The bones of Czar and Gyix are slowly appearing as their skin melts. Everyone in the group except Mario, Mallow, and Bowser walks back a bit and gasp as they witness Czar and Gyix's transformation. Their faces show a slightly disgusting look.
Roy: What's with that?
Mario: They're transforming into their-a other form.
Bowser: Their bone form.
Mallow: Right.
Kooks: This can't be good.
By that time,
Czar and Gyix's skin has completely melted and their bones are exposed
completely. Zombone (Czar) and Skelebon (Gyix) roar as their transformations
are completed. Zombone and Skelebod land on the
ground.
Mario: Get ready.
The group gets in a fighting position. The boney dragons fly in the air and charge at the group. The group dodges and the dragons zoom by them, barely hitting them. The boney dragons unleash a boulder storm. Boulders start appearing out of nowhere and threaten to hit the group. Koops smashes the boulders that are coming at him by slamming them while within his shell. Flurrie blows a powerful breath at the boulders, slowing them down, and avoids them while they are slowing down. Gonzales Jr. jumps away from the boulders' path. Vivian hides in the shadow on the surface of the ground to avoid the boulders. Bobbery explodes near the boulders that are coming at him, blowing them to pieces. Ms. Mowz quickly dodges the boulders that are coming at her. Mario smashes the boulders coming at him with his hammer, smashing them to pieces. Wendy, Larry, and Iggy fire beams from their magic wands at the boulders coming at them, and Lemmy fires ice beams from his Freeze Gun, blasting them to pieces. Roy, Morton, Ludwig, and Bowser smash the boulders to pieces with their fists. Then the group fires their attacks at the boney dragons, who are a few feet from the ground. The dragons dodge. Zombone creates a sandstorm while Skelebon creates earthquakes. The group cannot move because of the earthquakes and are hit by the sandstorm.
Zombone and Skelebon: Hahahaha.
Vivian gets out of the sandstorm and use a Fiery Jinx. Zombone and Skelebon are hit by the jinx and start burning.
Zombone: Ugh...
Skelebon: Augh!
Vivian: Yes!
The sandstorm subsides. The group sees Zombone and Skelebon burned by Vivian's jinx. Zombone and Skelebon are descending as they cannot concentrate on flying while they are burning.
Bowser: Grrr. Feel my wrath!
Bowser breathes fire at the boney dragons, who are now close to the ground. The dragons struggle to resist the fire that Vivian's jinx and Bowser's breath cause. The group then attacks the dragons. During the attacks, the fire is estinguished and the dragons knock the group away with their bodies. They fly in the air again and stomp at the group. The group quickly recovers and attacks again. The dragons dodge and summon boulder storms again. The group dodges them. Mario jumps on a boulder and jumps from it. He throws hammers at the dragons, who are shocked by Mario's jumping from a boulder. The dragons try to dodge, but the hammers hit them. The dragons fall to the ground. The group attacks the dragons, but the dragons fly up in the air before the group manages to hit them with their attacks. The dragons breathe fire and ice at the group. The group gets hit. The dragons then dive at them. Ms. Mowz sees the dragons closing in. She duplicates into four Mowzes. The dragons stop as they see four Mowzes. The four Ms. Mowzes run and jump around the dragons at a high speed. Eventually, the dragons get dizzy. The group see their chance to attack. They attack the dragons. The dragons crash on the Nimbus Castle. Lemmy sees that the dragons are still and aims carefully at the boney dragons. He fires from his Freeze Gun at the dragons, and successfully freezes them. Larry, Wendy, and Iggy fire beams at the dragons. Then the rest of the group attacks the dragons.
After a series of attack, they stop. The boney dragons are unconscious. This time, the group is sure that they have defeated the dragons. They cheer.
