Part 8: Peach’s Part
Bowser is looking at a screen watching Jr. collecting a Shine Sprite from Hotel Delfino and running off with it.
Bowser: Jr. did great, eh, Princess?
Bowser looks behind him and sees that Princess Peach is gone!
Bowser: AHH! Princess? Princess! PRINCESS PEACH! Oh NO! She’s gone! What do I do?
The Koopa Kids come into the room.
Ludwig: Relax! We can find her!
Iggy: Yeah!
Lemmy: Piece of cake!
Morton: CAKE?
Roy: It’s an expression, weirdo!
Wendy: Fine. I don’t have anything better to do.
Larry: (Heh heh heh.) Sure… It will be easy.
Bowser: Gee, thanks kids! What would I do without you?
The Koopa Kids set off to find Peach. A sneaky Koopa separates from the group and goes to the Lakitu Bros. room. He looks inside.
Lakitu #1: BURP!
The Lakitus are drinking root beer and talking about life.
Meanwhile in another part of the castle...
Peach: Boy, what a big castle. I- EEK!
A mouse scurries across the floor and into a mousehole.
Peach: And what a filthy one too! This place is a pigsty!
Peach looks in a room and sees a pigsty.
Peach: O_O
Peach continues her way down the hall and sees the Koopa Kids coming her way! She hides in the pigsty. Iggy looks inside the pigsty and sees nothing, then catches back up with his siblings. Peach gets up from the mud. She covered herself in mud to camouflage herself!
Peach: X_X Can this get any worse?
One of the pigs licks Peach.
Peach: X_X AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
The Koopa Kids stop.
Lemmy: Did you hear something?
Morton: No.
Wendy: Probably just the wind.
They continue walking. Peach gets out of the pigsty and goes to the door next to the pigsty’s door. She looks inside and sees a bathtub. She fills it with water and jumps in (with her clothes on). She gets the mud off of her and jumps out.
Back with the sneaky Koopa...
The Koopa Kid goes into the room and turns out to be Larry (like it was hard to figure that out)!
Larry: Hello, Lakitu Bros.
Lakitu #1: Hey Larry! What do you need?
Larry: Assistance. Could you ask King Dad something for me?
Back in the throne room...
The Lakitu Bros. go into the throne room and approach Bowser.
Bowser: What is it?
Lakitu #2: Um… We heard that your Koopa Kids were looking for Peach.
Bowser: You heard right.
Larry (just outside the throne room): Come on…
Lakitu #1: We thought maybe whoever found Peach should get a reward.
Bowser: Like?
Lakitu #2: M-money?
Bowser: How much money?
Lakitu #1: 1,000 coins…
Bowser: Oh my DAD! 1,000 coins?!
Bowser faints.
Lakitu #2: Does that sound like a yes?
Bowser wakes up.
Bowser: NO! But… I will give them 600 coins.
Lakitu Bros: Ok.
The Lakitu Bros. leave.
Larry: YES!
Larry runs off to find Peach.
Back with Peach...
Peach is wandering around the halls. She hears someone talking. She looks in a room with a door cracked open. She sees two Koopatrols talking.
Koopatrol #1: Did you hear that Mario’s found five Shine Sprites?
Koopatrol #2: Yeah. He’s doing pretty well.
Koopatrol #1: King Bowser has an idea to make Mario slip up.
Koopatrol #2: He does? I thought we had seen all of them.
Koopatrol #1: He plans to have Jr. feed his Shine Sprite to Eely in Noki Bay.
Peach: *gasp* I’ve got to warn Mario! But how?
Ludwig: Come on, guys! I’ve an idea to find Peach!
Roy: And what is that?
Ludwig: We’ll use my DNA tracker!
Lemmy: But we don’t have a piece of Peach’s DNA! How do we find her with that?
Ludwig: She’s been in Dad’s room all day. There has to be a piece of hair, an eyelash, something!
The Koopa Kids head to Ludwig’s lab.
Peach: (Where there’s a lab, there’s a computer. And where there’s a computer, there’s an Email box!)
Peach hides behind the door to Ludwig’s lab and the Koopa Kids head out of the lab. Peach goes into the lab. She sees a gigantic computer screen and a keyboard.
Peach: I knew it! Now I just have to Email Mario!
Peach types a message.
Larry: Ha ha!
Larry drops from the ceiling and lands on top of Peach.
Larry and Peach: Ow!
Larry gets off of Peach and grabs her.
Larry: I’ll make a fortune off of you!
Peach: How’d you know I would be here?
Larry: I conveniently started playing Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door yesterday! I got all the way to your part before Roy took the controller from me!
Peach: HELP!
The other Koopa Kids run inside.
Iggy: Hold it right there, Larry!
Larry: Egad!
E. Gadd appears out of nowhere.
Larry: NOT YOU!
Roy throws E. Gadd out the window.
Morton: He’s the one person more annoying than me in my opinion. He- *SOCK*
Wendy: Nice one, Lemmy!
Lemmy: Thank you.
Morton: MF FAM MA!
Roy: Be quiet!
Peach: Hello?
Roy: Oh, right. Sorry.
Ludwig: Nice job, Larry! Let’s ALL take the princess to Dad!
Larry: Heh heh. Yeah right! Never! I’m getting the reward money all to myself! You can’t stop me! Ha ha-
Wendy whacks Larry’s face with a stop sign.
Wendy: I think we stopped you.
Larry falls down. Ludwig grabs the princess and the Koopa Kids (except Larry) head to the door. Larry wakes up and grabs a freeze gun that Ludwig invented. He shoots Ludwig with it and Ludwig is frozen solid. Larry grabs the princess.
Roy: Get him!
Lemmy grabs Larry by the tail and throws him into a wall. Larry drops the princess. Wendy forcibly opens Larry’s mouth and sprays perfume into it.
Larry: *cough cough cough* ACK! What is this? Noxious gas?!
Roy socks Larry in the eye. Morton and Iggy spin and ram into Larry. Larry goes round and round. Larry stops after five seconds.
Larry: Ahh yee er...
Roy: Had enough?
Larry pulls a rope out of his shell and lassos his siblings together.
Larry: Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go collect 600 coins!
Peach grabs her frying pan and approaches Larry from behind.
Larry: And remember, nobody beats Larry Koop-
BWAAAAANNNNGGG! Peach hit Larry’s head with her frying pan. Larry falls down unconscious.
Roy: Hmmm… There’s something missing. Oh yeah!
Roy grabs a heat gun and melts the ice block Ludwig’s frozen inside of.
Roy: Larry’s ko’d but we didn’t want him to go down without you taking a whack at him.
Ludwig takes three
Bob-ombs out of his shell and shoves them in Larry’s mouth. 3… 2… 1…
KABOOOOMMMMMMM!
Ludwig: Ok. Larry’s taken care of, now let’s grab Peach and get out of here!
Peach: Nobody get near me! You saw what I did to Larry! Now if anybody takes a step closer to me I’ll-
Ludwig grabs the freeze gun and freezes Peach’s arm so she can’t hit them.
Peach: I-I h-h-h-h-hate… K-K-K-K-Koopas.
Roy grabs Peach and they take her to Bowser.
Ludwig: Dad! Dad!
Bowser is asleep.
Wendy: DA-AAAAAAD!
Bowser: Yah!
Bowser wakes up.
Bowser: Wha-what?
Morton: We got Peach!
Bowser: Great! Now let’s see. Did you guys work together to find her?
Iggy: Yup.
Bowser: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Since there’s six of you and I got 600 coins, you each get 100 coins!
Koopa Kids: YAY!
Back in Ludwig’s lab...
Larry is waking up.
Larry: Huh? What? NO! They got Peach! Grr…
Larry slams his face on the keyboard, which knocks him out.
Computer: Sending message… Message sent.
Will Mario get Peach’s message? Will Peach escape Bowser? You’ll find out soon!
Mario is stomping and jumping and yelling like crazy.
Mario: I WANT A BREAK! I'VE BEEN RUNNING AROUND IN PURSUIT OF SHADOW MARIO ALL DAY! I'VE BEEN KILLING MONSTERS ALL DAY! I. WANT. A. BREAK!!!
FLUDD: We can't stop now, Mario! Shadow Mario has one Shine Sprite! We need to get it!
Mario: Well, where do we go?
Mario's Mailbox DS starts playing the Super Mario Brothers 2 theme. Mario takes it out of his pocket and checks it.
Mario: I have a message from Peach!
FLUDD: Read it!
Mario: "I'm be-ing held in a cheese in the cheesy"-
FLUDD: Oh for goodness sakes! Let me read it! It says, "Dear Mario, HELP! I'm being held captive by Bowser in a castle in the sky. I overheard some of Bowser's minions talking about a trap for you in Noki Bay. Bowser plans to have his son feed a Shine Sprite to Eely and then have Eely destroy you! I'm not sure how Bowser got a Shine Sprite but I do know that if you don't show up, that Noki Bay could be in a lot of trouble. Be careful, Mario! Sincerely, Princess Peach."
Mario: A castle in the sky? Noki Bay? Trap? What does this mean?
FLUDD: I don't know but I do know that Peach is in danger. We should go to Noki Bay.
Mario: But how do we get there?
Pianta: FREE BOAT RIDES TO NOKI BAY! 10 COINS!
Mario sees a Pianta selling boat rides and goes over to him.
Mario: Here are ten coins.
Mario hands the Pianta ten coins.
Mario: Get me there as fast as possible!
Pianta: You betcha!
Mario and the Pianta get in the boat and head off. They are going slowly.
Mario: How fast are we going?
Pianta: One mile per hour.
Mario: X_X CAN'T WE GO ANY FASTER?!
Pianta: Nope.
Mario jumps out of the boat and into the water. He switches to the Turbo Nozzle.
Mario: What a waste of ten coins!
Mario blasts off and eventually reaches Noki Bay.
Mario: Yay! I made it! Now to stop Shadow Mario and-
A giant monster shoots up from the water right under Mario! Mario is sent in the air and he lands back in the water.
Mario: What was that?!
FLUDD: Mario! Look!
Mario looks up and sees Eely! But Eely's different!
Mario: Oh no! We're too late! Eely's a monster! He's grown two tentacles and he's bigger! There's only one thing to do!
Mario reaches into his pocket and grabs something.
Mario: EAT CHEESE, YOU FIEND!
Mario throws cheese into Eely's mouth.
Eely: RAGH BLECH! HEGH TOUIE! (YUCK! Cheese! I hate cheese!)
Eely goes back in the water and comes back up from under Mario with his mouth open. He swallows Mario whole!
Mario: AHH!
Mario falls down Eely's throat. He switches to the Rocket Nozzle and rockets back up. Mario gets out of Eely. Mario sprays one of Eely's teeth.
Eely: AAHHH!!!
Mario: It's hurting him! I got one of his teeth that has a cavity!
Mario keeps spraying that tooth until Eely grabs him. Eely slams Mario on the ground ten times and then he throws him up in the air. Eely hits Mario and Mario flies into a wall while he's in midair.
Mario: Oohhh...
Eely grabs Mario and spins him around. Mario rockets up in the air. Mario ground pounds in midair. Eely looks up and opens his mouth. Mario lands on Eely's tooth.
Eely: AAAHHHH!!!
Mario rockets off of the tooth.
Eely: AAAAHHHHH!!!
Eely spits sludge at Mario (so that's how his teeth got dirty). Mario is hit by the sludge. Eely grabs Mario and uses him as a toothbrush. Mario rockets out of Eely's tentacle. The water hits Eely's tooth.
Eely: AAAAAHHHHHH!!!
Eely spits the Shine Sprite out. Eely returns back to normal and goes back in the sea. Mario runs up to the Shine Sprite. A bunch of goop appears on the Shine Sprite and Bowser Jr. comes out of the goop.
Mario: Bowser Jr!
Shadow Mario comes out of the goop as well!
Mario: WHAT?!
Bowser Jr: Oh no! The Shine Sprite separated me from my alter ego!
Shadow Mario snatches the magic paintbrush from Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr: Woah! Listen, buddy, just give me the paintbrush and we'll fuse together again.
Shadow Mario: No way!
Mario and Bowser Jr: He can talk?!
Shadow Mario: That's right! Man, I'm glad to be free! I've had to be your shadow all day! Having to be your other body! But now I'm free! Free to do whatever I want! And the first thing on my list is to destroy both of you!
Mario and Bowser Jr: AAHHH!!!
Shadow Mario grabs the Shine Sprite and goes after them.
Mario: RUN!
Bowser Jr: WHAT'S IT LOOK LIKE I'M DOING?
Shadow Mario makes a pile of goop and jumps into it. He comes up in front of Mario and Bowser Jr.
Shadow Mario: Now for my greatest plan ever!
Shadow Mario paints a picture of FLUDD and it rises from the ground.
Shadow Mario: Behold! Shadow FLUDD!
Shadow FLUDD: I am Shadow FLUDD. A Fiendish, Low, Unkind Dousing Device. I hope to be of your evil assistance.
Shadow Mario puts Shadow FLUDD on his back.
Shadow Mario: Now watch this!
Shadow Mario switches Shadow FLUDD to the Rocket Nozzle and shoots up in the sky. He spins around in the sky and sprays goop all over. Goop lands all over Noki Bay. Some Nokis arrive on a boat and get off. They get covered in goop. Shadow Mario lands.
Shadow Mario: Clean THAT up, plumber!
Shadow Mario paints on Mario and Bowser Junior's feet and the goop on their feet hardens. The goop attaches to the ground. They can't move!
Shadow Mario: Now to destroy you two!
Mario sprays Shadow Mario. Shadow Mario is hurt. While Shadow Mario is stunned, Mario switches to the Rocket Nozzle and rockets up from the ground.
Mario: Stay here, Bowser Jr!
Bowser Jr: Do I have a choice? I'm stuck to the ground!
Mario sprays Shadow Mario again and runs to the Nokis. He sprays the Nokis and they're cleaned.
Nokis: Thank you!
One of the Nokis decides to fish. He grabs a fishing pole and casts his line out. Mario rockets up in the sky with the Rocket Nozzle and sprays water all over. Noki Bay becomes clean again. Shadow Mario sprays Mario. Shadow Mario runs off into the tricky ruins. Mario follows. Mario is spraying Shadow Mario as he chases him. Shadow Mario uses the Turbo Nozzle and gets farther ahead of Mario. Shadow Mario wall jumps up and continues running. Mario does the same. Mario is right behind Shadow Mario and Shadow Mario uses the Turbo Nozzle to get away from Mario and Mario is covered in goop. Mario uses the Turbo Nozzle to get closer to Shadow Mario. Mario sprays Shadow Mario and jumps on top of him. Mario picks Shadow Mario up and throws him into the sea. Shadow Mario and Shadow FLUDD look as if they're being electrocuted.
Shadow Mario and Shadow FLUDD: YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
Shadow Mario and Shadow FLUDD turn into a whole bunch of beads and they fly into the paintbrush. The paintbrush flies to Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr: YEAH!
The hardened goop on Bowser Junior's feet turns into liquid and he is able to walk again.
Mario: But where's the Shine Sprite?
The Shine Sprite flies out of the paintbrush and Bowser Jr. grabs it.
Bowser Jr: HA HA! Once again, Mario, YOU'VE FAILED!!! Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Bowser Jr. turns into Shadow Mario (and he has Shadow FLUDD and no, Shadow Mario's not in control) and paints a goop pile. He jumps into it and the goop pile disappears.
Mario: No! No! No!
In the castle in the sky...
Bowser: Bwa ha ha! Junior succeeded!
Peach: *sigh* Mario will beat you like he always does, Bowser!
Bowser looks at Peach.
Bowser: DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?!
Peach: Yes. I said, "Take a breath mint."
Bowser snarls. Bowser grabs a walkie-talkie form his shell and speaks into it.
Bowser: King Koopa to General Koop! Do you hear me?
General Koop: Loud and clear, sir!
Bowser: I need you to make sure that our little trap is ready. You know, the one for Mario.
General Koop: It is ready, sir.
Bowser: Heh heh. Good. Over and out.
Peach: (*gasp* Oh no! I have to warn Mario!) Um, excuse me Bowser, where is the trap?
Bowser: It's in Pianta Village.
Peach: Thank you. (Sucker.) I feel hungry. Could you go to your kitchen and make something for the two of us?
Bowser: What do you mean by, the two of us?
Peach: Well Bowser, isn't it obvious? I can't resist you. Did you think that your Koopa Kids took me here to you against my will? I told them to do it. So could you go cook us up a romantic dinner? I won't go anywhere.
Bowser: (She... she... I've been waiting for this my entire life!) YES!
Bowser zooms off to the living room and finds his Koopa Kids.
Bowser: KIDS! YOU'RE GOING TO GET A MOM!
Koopa Kids: YAY!
(Note: In my stories I don't use people that are made by Lemmy's Land. I only use actual Mario characters. I just wanted to clear that up so that you didn't think Bowser was cheating on Clawdia.)
Bowser and the Koopa Kids go to the kitchen to make a dinner for Peach and the family. Meanwhile, Peach goes to Ludwig's Lab but is stopped at the computer.
Computer: Password, please.
Peach: Uh. E = MC squared?
Computer: Password denied.
Peach: Uh... I hate Mario?
Computer: Password accepted.
Peach types a message and sends it to Mario.
Peach: Yes!
Bowser: Oh Princess Peeeeeeeach! :)
Peach: *gasp* Bowser!
Peach zooms back to the throne room. Bowser arrives with a gigantic platter of food.
Bowser: Let's eat!
Back at Noki Bay...
Mario: I can't believe it! Twice in a row, I've lost to Bowser Jr! I won't get any more Shine Sprites at this point!
The Noki that was fishing: Hey! I caught something shiny!
Mario goes to see what it is. It's a Shine Sprite!
Mario: Yahoo! Can I have that?
Noki: Sure!
Mario takes the Shine Sprite. Then his Mailbox DS starts playing the Super Mario Brothers 2 music. Mario grabs it and FLUDD reads the message.
FLUDD: "Dear Mario, I have figured out that Bowser has a trap planned for you at Pianta Village. I don't know what it is but it must be bad! Be careful! Sincerely, Peach."
Mario: Great, more traps. Oh well, let's get back to Isle Delfino.
The Shine Sprites in Mario's pocket shine and he's teleported back to Isle Delfino.
