Chapter One: Night Of The Machine
Setting: Mysterious Lab, Time: 9:00 PM
One stormy night a professer was working on a machine. It was going to be a few hours before completion. He said, "With this machine... I will be able to rule Plit!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Setting: Mario's House, Time: 12:00 AM
Mario was in his bed until he heard metal clanks, whirs and some HUGE stomping down the road. "What could THAT be?" he said. Mario took a peek out the window down the street. He saw a HUGE shadow in the distance. Mario got dressed and ran outside. He spotted the shadow again. He now realized that it was a machine! Mario saw a little professor in the machine. "Who are YOU?!" Mario asked.
The professor, startled that someone noticed him, said, "Is someone there?"
Mario replied, "Yes. And you're in my yard!!!"
The professor growled, "You're a little grumpy! I think someone needs a little nap! UNDER MY ROBOTIC FOOT!!!" The professor stomped at Mario.
"Just WHO do you think you are?!" Mario said.
The professor replied, "Dr. Oirame. That's who I am!!!"
Mario punched the machine, only to result in pain in his fist. "Ow..." he moaned. He noticed that he had made a dent in the machine.
Dr. Oirame stomped at Mario again, only to miss though. Mario jump-kicked the Dr. right in the head. "Oof!!!" he cried. "You know, I said MY name, so why don't you say YOURS?"
"My name is Mario," Mario replied. He jump-kicked again.
"ARGH!!! YOU'VE WON THIS ROUND, MARIO!!!" the Dr. screamed. "I'LL BE BACK!!!"
Mario smirked as he went back to bed.

Chapter Two: Project X Mecha X2000
Setting: Mysterious Lab, Time: 4:00 AM
The next day, Dr. Oirame was at his lab pondering ways to get revenge on Mario. He thought, "That Mario... How can I stop him?! He's The only thing stopping me from ruling Plit! I've got to make something that will DESTROY him!!!"
A few hours later he got an idea! "I'll make HIMSELF but... It will be a ROBOT!!! I shall begin working... PROJECT X MECHA X2000!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
So he began. It would take some days for that kind of creation to work, though...

Setting: Peach's Castle, Time: 9:00 AM
"But Peach I'm telling you!!! I fought a giant robot yesterday!!!" Mario was trying to tell Peach that he'd fought a machine.
"No you didn't!!! You probably had a dream, Mario," Peach told Mario.
"But... but... but..." Mario looked at his hand. "I have a bruise from the fight on my hand!" Mario took his glove off and showed Peach.
"Wow! That looks painful..." Peach said. "That still doesn't prove you fought a machine!"
While Peach and Mario were arguing, a shadow appeared behind the bushes. He took pictures of Mario. He grinned behind his black mask as he disappeared. By that time Mario was escorted out of the castle. As Mario walked down the path he saw a ninja with a camera walking away. "Hey you!" Mario shouted.
"Aw crud!" the ninja said. "Caught! Ah well. I could have a good fight!"
"Fight?" Mario asked. The ninja slid and kicked Mario in the legs. "Ow!" Mario yelled. Mario chose to run away from the ninja.
"Awwww!!! No fight I guess..." the ninja said. He ran off too.

Setting: Mysterious Lab, Time: 9:15 AM
"Here you go, boss," a ninja said.
"Thanks. Now I can complete Project X Mecha X2000!" Dr. Oirame said.

Setting: Mario's House, Time: 9:30 AM
Luigi was drinking coffee and eating doughnuts when Mario walked in. "Hey Bro. What were you doing last night?" Luigi asked.
Mario replied, "I dont wanna talk about it right now. Besides, you won't believe me. I'm gonna take a nap..." So Mario walked to bed and slept.

Setting: Mysterious Lab, Time: 3:00 PM
A few days later, Dr. Oirame was finished. "Yes! At long last! Project X Mecha X2000 is finished!!! I will nickname him... Hmmm... MECHA MARIO!!!"
He turned on "Mecha Mario". A few beeps, whirs, and clanks were heard. "How may I serve you, Master?" Mecha Mario said.
"Destroy the one called Mario!" the doctor ordered.
"Yes sir," Mecha said.
"MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" the doctor laughed. "NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW!!!"

Setting: Koopa Valley, Time: 4:00 PM
"Take that, vile Koopa!" Mario yelled as he was fighting Bowser. Bowser blew fire at Mario. Mario got burnt to a crisp, but shook off the pain. Mario used his hammer to finish Bowser off.
"NOOOOOO!!!" Bowser screamed. "WHY ME?!" He flew off on he Koopa Kopter.
On a nearby hill a shadow was observing him. "Hmmm... It will be a tremendous amount of energy to defeat the foe. Let's try ROUND ONE."
He jumped off the hill behind Mario. Mario heard the thump behind him. "What now?" he said. He saw a metal version of him.
"Greetings, one called Mario," the robot said.
"How do you know my name? And who are you?" the human asked.
"My name is Project X Mecha X2000," the robot answered, "but my master calls me Mecha Mario."
Mecha leapt at Mario and Round One began.

Mecha Mario's chest plate opened, revealing a laser! But... time froze for some reason!

"Mario listen
to me. Mecha Mario is tough. You cannot defeat him alone! He has a mystical
power battery
in him!"
"What do those do?" Mario said aloud.
"They give power to any robot that possesses them. I only have enough energy to say a few more words. I will... ive... u... ore... ower..."
A very bright
flash appeared around Mario. He gained a Special Move. Time was reversed
so that the battle
hadn't started
yet.

I met Mecha... I think I'll do what I did when I REALLY first met him.

any way," Mario thought.
"How do you know my name? And who are you?" the human asked.

Mecha leapt at Mario and Round One began (again!).

Mecha Mario fkew back to his master while yelling, "MASTER!!! MARIO!!! HE DEFEATED ME!!!" Mario laughed. He headed home for a well deserved rest.
When he got home, Luigi said, "Wow. Was it a tough battle with Bowser or what?"
"No, I defeated a robot in Koopa Valley," Mario replied.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!! HE THINKS THERE ARE ROBOTS IN THE WORLD!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Luigi laughed loudly.

Chapter 3: More Power Batteries
Setting: Mysterious Lab, Time: 6:30 PM
"WHAT?! EVEN MY ROBOT LOST TO THAT MARIO?!" Dr. Oirame screamed. "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!"
"He's Just too tough..." Mecha Mario said. "Do you have any of the batteries yet?"
"Yes I do. Might as well put them in now!" the doctor said. Dr. Oriame threw two power batteries at Mecha Mario. Mecha Mario then got power as the batteries got inside him. Now his arms and torso were bigger.

Setting: Mario's House, Time: 7:00 AM
The next day, Mario got out of bed and and heard a yell for help. "MARIO, HELP ME!!!" the voice yelled.
"Sounds like Luigi..." Mario thought. When he got to the living room he saw Luigi fainted in fear of the hulky metal thing. "Mecha Mario?!" Mario yelled in surprise.
"Yes. It's me. I am now Mecha Mario 2!!!" Mecha said. "This time water won't harm me, because I now have three power batteries!"
"Nooooooooo!!!" Mario screamed in terror.
"BUT!" Mecha Mario said. "There are more batteries than three."
"Cut the chat and let;s get on with it!" Mario yelled.

"So you lost again?" Dr. Oriame asked.
"Yes I have..." the mecha being said.
"I have a plan that will destroy Mario. Here are the rest of the Power Batteries."
The professor threw the Power Batteries at Mecha Mario 2. He became Mecha Mario1000. Mecha Mario1000 looked like a mecha-type dragon.

Setting: Weird Arena, Time: 12:00 PM
Mario got teleported to a weird arena. "Where am I?" he said.
"You are in the Weird Arena," a shadowy voice said.
For some reason, Luigi got teleported there too. "Woah!" he said. "Mario?"
"What?" Mario said.
"Where are we?" Luigi asked.
"We're in some weird arena thing," Mario answered.
"Oh," Luigi said.
A mecha behemoth appeared out of nowhere. "Who are you?" Mario asked.
"I am Mecha Mario1000."
"Mecha?! Thats really you?!" Mario asked, surprised. "Yes, it's me. We're here for a showdown. Say hello to my brother, Mecha Luigi!!!" Mecha Mario1000 said.
A robot looking like Luigi came out of nowhere.
"Let the showdown begin!!!" he said.
