Part 2: Koopa Attack
Chapter 1:

Welcome to part 2 of Mario Wars. By the way, the first part was called "Bowser Head Attack".

Last time the Mushroom Alliance left Yadda to make their new base in Ice Land.

Mario is on patrol for Koopas and mutated Bumpties that were mutated by the Koopas.

Mario: (talking through communicator) I can't see anything! I'm coming back to base.

Just as Mario puts his communicator away, a mutant Bumpty attacks him by surprise and knocks him out. It takes Mario to its lair.

At the Mushroom base...

Geno: That's strange. Mario should be back by now.

DK: Should I keep working on the Super Star?

Geno: Yeah.

Peach comes.

Peach: Geno, has Mario come back yet?

Geno: No.

Peach: Really? We'd better get the scanners out.

Geno: Never mind, I'll look for him.

So Geno goes out to search for Mario.

DK: I hope he'll be ok.

Peach: Same here.

Back with Mario...

Mario wakes up to find himself frozen to the floor of the Mutant Bumpty's cave. He sees the beast asleep and takes out his hammer. With it he smashes the ice, waking up the Mutant Bumpty. It charges toward him but Mario hits it with his hammer, which knocks it to the ground. It gets back up so Mario throws his hammer like a boomerang, knocking an icicle off the roof. It falls on the Mutant Bumpty, killing it. With that, Mario runs away.

Toad Guy: Princess... Mario and Geno haven't returned. We have to close the doors.

Peach: *sigh* Fine.

Kooper: Don't worry, Princess, they'll be back tomorrow.

Koops: Let's hope so.

DK: *sigh*

Peach starts crying.

***

Mario is running through the snow, but suddenly stops.

Mario: Oh my God.

Mario sees Yoshi's tail lying in the snow.

Mario: I can't go on. I've let too many people die... All those Mushroomers, the Yoshis and Birdos are now extinct, and even Luigi.

Mario faints. Two minutes later, Geno finds him and takes him back to base. Mario wakes up to find himself in the base.

Mario: Who rescued me?

Geno: I did.

Mario: Thanks, Geno.

Peach: I heard the Koopas are looking for us

Mario: Oh no!
