A fury of orange displays on the screen, until 24-Up is shown. Mario's words, as he says them, appear onscreen.
Mario: The following takes place between 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.
The words shatter. Cut to CKU Mushroom Kingdom. Luigi is walking through CKU. He walks by Zelda, who calls to him.
Zelda: Luigi, there is something you might want to know about.
Luigi: Yeah?
Zelda: We found, on the satelitte, that there is a toxin being released.
Luigi: By who?!
Zelda: We don't know.
Luigi: Where is it?
Zelda: It's... on a boat... in the main supply of water for the Mushroom Kingdom.
Luigi: Gah! All right. I'll go assemble a team, and stop them from releasing it.
Zelda: Luigi! You aren't a field operative.
Luigi: So?
He walks to the equipment room to get armor and guns.
Zelda: Luigi! Get back here!
Cut to the Blooper Docks...
Mario: Falco, Knuckles, you guard the entrance. Fox, you're with me.
Fox: Yes, sir.
Fox pulls out his blaster, and Mario pulls out his FFP726.
Mario: Fox, I need you to cover me...
Fox: Right on it.
Mario walks through, across the docks. Two Koopaists, both Goombas with zappers, notice him
Koopaist: Intruder!
Mario: Mamamia!
Mario gets into cover, and fires at one Koopaist. The fireball barely misses him. Mario crouches, and a zapper blast blows off the top part of the log he's hiding behind.
Mario: Fox!
Fox flanks the enemy. He takes out one Koopaist, but the other shoots him
Mario: Man down!
Mario shoots four fireballs at the Goomba, one hitting it. Mario rushes to Fox.
Fox: Ow.
Mario: You okay?
Fox: Yeah... It only barely hit me. I'll be fine. It bounced off my armor.
Mario: I'm pulling you out.
Fox: We can't let Delphino be destroyed. I'll be fine.
Mario: Fine.
Mario and Fox progress. They get into the ship, and search.
Mario: See anything?
Fox: No.
Mario: Okay.
He pulls out cell, and calls CKU.
Zelda: Zelda.
Mario: Zelda, it's Mario. We made it in. I'm calling squad two in.
Zelda: Okay.
Mario hangs up, and calls squad two. Knuckles answers.
Knuckles: Echidna.
Mario: Knuckles, it's Mario. Move into the ship.
Knuckles: Copy.
Mario hangs up. They wait for squad two, which takes half a minute. Mario looks into the next room.
Mario: Looks clear. Move in.
Knuckles: Right.
Knuckles and Falco walk in. There are zapper shots, a whooshing sound, and a scream.
Mario: What the?
He takes cover, and sees a Koopaist firing, and shoots a fireball at him, defeating him.
Knuckles: Falco is down!
Fox: What?
He rushes over to Falco, and looks at the injured body.
Fox: No... Those monsters.
Falco: Fox... Make sure the Star Fox team... doesn't die. Unh.
He dies.
Fox: Guh...
He almost throws up.
Mario: Fox, I know it's hard to lose a friend, but you have to progress.
Fox: Sorry, Mario... I have to teach these murderers a lesson...
He tries to run, but Mario grabs his collar.
Mario: You're no good to me dead. You can't just run in, blasters blazing... You'll get your chance.
Fox: Nuh... Fine.
7:12:46... 7:12:47... 7:12:48... 7:12:49...
7:16:31... 7:16:32... 7:16:33... 7:16:34...
Luigi is walking to the water supply. He looks, and sees the boat. There are barrels of toxins all over. He backs up, and jumps onto the deck, and pulls out his FF Rifle.
Koopaist: Hey! Who's there?
Luigi: Dang.
Luigi fires a fireball at the Koopaist. He then moves to another place of cover, as Zapper shots splatter next to him. He fires another shot, and takes down another. He does that three other times, and then the areas are clear.
Luigi: I'm gonna have to get the rest of them.
He calls CKU.
Zelda: Zelda.
Luigi: I need some reinforcments.
Zelda: Some team.
Luigi: What team?
Zelda: You went without?
Luigi: Eh...
Zelda: Okay... Fine... Okay, I'm sending in Donkey Kong, Mr. Game & Watch, and Captain Falcon.
Luigi: *sigh*
Zelda: Too bad!
Cut to the ship, where Mario is. All the bodies are hidden.
Mario: We can't kill anyone else. We need to hide in here. Knuckles.
Knuckles: Sir?
Mario: You hide in the vent. Fox, go hide under that desk, and use that chair to conceal yourself.
Mario hides behind a shelf.
7:36:31... 7:36:32... 7:36:33... 7:36:34...
7:51:31....7:51:32....7:51:33....7:51:34....
The ship docks at Isle Delfino, and that ends Mario's appearance in this hour.
Luigi (Voice): You must be my team...
Cut to the ship. Game & Watch, Captain Falcon, and Donkey Kong all stand there in front of him.
Captain Falcon: We are the new assault team.
G&W: Beep, beep, beep.
Donkey Kong: Hello.
Luigi: Well, let's go on, and take down these people. Game and Watch.
G&W: Beep?
Luigi: Breach the door.
Game and Watch walks to the locked door of the boat. He places a Vermin Game and Watch game on the door. The figure smashes down the locks inside the game, and the locks clatter onto the ground. Watch takes the game, and eats it.
Luigi: What the?
Captain Falcon: His stomach is a Game & Watch carrying case. It's useful.
Luigi: Right.
DK checks the door. The coast seems clear. Everyone piles in. Suddenly, there is an ambush. Donkey Kong is torn apart by zapper lasers. Watch clambers behind a box, and takes cover. Captain Falcon runs straight through, lasers missing him, and uses a Falcon Punch on a Koopaist, wiping it clean. He then backflips, and lands behind a box.
Luigi: What's the status?
Captain Falcon: Watch is okay, Donkey Kong is down, and my suit is all messed up.
Luigi: I can tell I'm gonna lose sleep over that last one.
He fires a fireball at a Koopaist, killing it.
G&W: Beep! Beep beep beep beepeep be-beep!
Captain Falcon: I understand, but we can't go out in the open and rescue a dead monkey.
Luigi: He's right.
G&W: BEEP BEEP BEBEBEEP!
He pulls out Octopus, and scores several points. The game turns into a grenade, and he throws it. It explodes in a monochrome explosion, killing the last few Koopaists.
Luigi: Good work.
G&W: Beep... beep... beep.
Luigi: I know... I'm sorry...
