A long time ago in a place far away from Earth, called Plit, a great disturbance was happening. On an island called Xoshi's Island, an evil witch named Karminy Koopa, Kammy's evil little sister who taught her everything she knew about magic, was trying to destroy it and all of its inhabitants, the rare-colored (and good-grammar-using) Yoshis. Gold, Silver, Black, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Platinum, Copper, Bronze, White, Pearl, and Diamond Yoshis all live on Xoshi's Island. Xoshi, the ruler of the Island, is the only Diamond Yoshi; one is born every 1,000 years! It is called Xoshi's Island because he discovered the bridge to it, but... when all the Yoshis crossed, it collapsed, trapping them there on Xoshi's Island. It was a dark and stormy night, and...
Karminy: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I shall destroy all of you!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Xoshi: Qosh!! We have to!
Qoshi: NO! He'll be all alone!
Qoshi, a Pearl Yoshi (they are also born every 1,000 years) that was Xoshi's wife lays a Silver Egg, which would hatch into a Silver Yoshi.
Xoshi: It's the only way to save him from Karminy!
Qoshi: (crying) Okay... If it's the only way to save him...
Xoshi: At least he'll have a life.
Karminy: Die, Xoshi's Island!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Xoshi: GO!!!
Karminy: Stop right there with that Egg, Qoshi!
Qoshi: Never!!!
Xoshi: Karminy!!! I challenge you!!!
Karminy: Fool! You can not beat me!
Karminy shoots a magic beam at Xoshi. She hits him and lifts him high into the air.
Xoshi: Qoshi, hurry!
As Qoshi rounds a bend in the forest, she hears a really loud thump.
Qoshi: *pant* Must... save... *pant* my son...
Qoshi runs to the other side of the Island, and that is FAR!
Qoshi: *pant* I'm... *pant* here... Where is the little boat? There it is.
Qoshi can barely run in the heavy rain, which is coming down in sheets.
Qoshi: I just hope he'll be able to take care of himself... All alone in the world. No parents at all. Bye, Son... I only regret never getting to see you, face-to-face.
In the background, you can hear Karminy laughing. Qoshi sets the Egg onto the boat, then scribbles something on a card, and sets it under the Egg. She pushes the small boat into the water. The camera is on the boat looking at the Egg from the front, so you can see Xoshi's Island in the background. Xoshi's Island starts vibrating and soon you see little waves- Xoshi's Island is sinking! You see bubbles form around the Island, which is slowly sinking. Within minutes, the Island is gone... and so are the Yoshis that lived there...
Karminy: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Crack! Crack!!! Shatter! I'm... er... Zoshi is hatching!!!
Zoshi: Where am I? Mommy, Daddy? Where are you?! What's this?
He picks up the card he is sitting on.
Dear Son,
This is from
your mother, Qoshi. Your father, Xoshi, helped me save you. You are the
last of your rare-color kind. We want you to know that we love you and
that we were attacked, and the only way to save you was to let you sail.
I hope I see you face-to-face one day, but I doubt we ever will. We love
you.

Zoshi starts crying. Zoshi sees that he is in the middle of nowhere. (Remember, it was a long time ago that the Island sank.) He sees the fish, and realizes he is hungry.
Zoshi: Mmmm... Fishies...
Zoshi uses his long tongue to catch the fish and eat them.
Zoshi: Mmmm... Watery...
After a week, Zoshi becomes a grown Yoshi, and is good at taking care of himself.
Zoshi: What is that over there? Is that... No it isn't... Yes, it is!!! It's LAND!!! How do I know all these things?
I don't know how I... er... Zoshi knows all these things.
Zoshi: Yes!
Zoshi's boat washes ashore. He sees a tiny dot on the horizon.
Zoshi: What is that tiny dot?
As he gets closer it grows into a castle shape.
Zoshi: A... a.. a castle?
Random Toad: Welcome, traveler!
Zoshi: Please tell me, where am I?
Random T: Why, in the Mushroom Kingdom!
Zoshi: Mushroom... Kingdom...
Random T: Yes! Let me take you to the Castle for no apparent reason!
Zoshi: Sure, please...
Zoshi is very confused by this strange land; he is used to only water, sun, wood, and sky.
Random T: Here we are. We'll let you meet the princess and her friends.
Random T. takes Zoshi into the Castle, where Toad, Mario, Luigi, and Peach are.
Mario: Hi! My-a name is-a Mario.
Luigi: And-a I'm his-a brother, Luigi.
Peach: My name is Princess Toadstool, call me Peach.
Toad: Hi! I'm Toad!
Zoshi: Woah... I'm seeing double...
Peach: No, you're not. There’s a lot of Toads in my Kingdom, and most of them look the same.
Luigi: Guys-a, huddle.
Peach: What?
Luigi: This-a guy doesn't look-a like an-a ordinary Yoshi.
Mario: He-a has a point-a. I-a have never-a seen a Silver Yoshi.
Peach: Platinum, actually. Big difference between the two. Anyway... I wonder where he's from. He acts like he's never seen land before.
Toad: What should we do?
Luigi: I-a have no-a idea.
Peach: I know! Mario can go to Yoshi's Island and ask Yoshi to talk to him.
Mario: Okay-a, but I'll-a go later. It'll be-a rude right now-a.
Toad: True. Let’s treat him like everybody else.
Luigi, Mario, and Peach: Okay!
Peach: So... What's your name?
Zoshi: Zoshi.
Toad: Zoshi, huh? Has sort of a ring to it.
Zoshi: Do you know anybody, like... well... like me?
Luigi nods.
Luigi: Yes-a, we do.
Zoshi: Can I meet him, or her?
Mario: Sure! I'll-a go get him.
Mario runs out of the Castle and comes back 10 minutes later with Yoshi.
Yoshi (with good grammar): Hello, my name is Yoshi, I'm a Gre... *Gasp!!!*
Peach: What?!
Yoshi: He is a Xoshian!!!
Toad: A what?
Yoshi: A Xoshian. Inhabitants of the fabled land of Xoshi's Island.
Weird, ancient music starts playing,
Yoshi: A myth I heard a long time ago.
The screen ripples and fades to Xoshi's Island.
Yoshi: A long time ago, on the island of Xoshi's Island, discovered by the Diamond Yoshi, Xoshi. There was peace and harmony between all of them until a fateful day, something terrible happened. There were floods, thunderstorms, tornados, and even hurricanes. They say that these weren't ordinary natural disasters, but caused by somebody, though who it remains unknown. The Island was destroyed by the storms, and then... the unbelievable happened... The Island started to sink!!! It was chaos there. When the storms faded, the Island was gone. It was thought there were no survivors...
The screen fades back.
Yoshi: ...Until now.
Zoshi: So that's what happened... I... I... I can't believe it...
Zoshi walks to the window and looks at the ocean.
Peach: How sad.
Toad: Yeah, I know.
Mario: At least-a we know what-a happened.
Zoshi: ...
Peach: It's all right, Zoshi. You can live in the Mushroom Kingdom.
Zoshi: ... Thanks... I will find who destroyed my family, and get them back for all they did!!! So whoever did it better watch out! When somebody gets me angry, there is going to be pain!!!

Karminy: Hehehehehehehehehehehe... It looks like Zoshi has found out what happened to his parents, and the Island. Well, he'll never find me! Hehehehehehehehehehehe...

Zoshi: I'm ready to go find the destroyer of my land!!!
Yoshi: I'll come with you.
Peach: Good luck!
Zoshi and Yoshi leave the Castle to go find their enemy. In this case is Karminy, but they don't know that.
Zoshi: Do we even know where we're supposed to go?
Yoshi: I think it was Bowser, let's go to his Castle.
Zoshi: Bowser?
Yoshi: Yes, he is an evil Koopa, with red hair and spikes on his shell.
Zoshi: Koopa?
Yoshi: They look like turtles.
Zoshi: Ohhh...
Yoshi: Let's go to Bowser's Kastle now.
Zoshi: Okay!

Kammy: Oh no! They're coming here! This is all Karminy's fault!
Bowser: Who's coming here?
Kammy: Yoshi and some other Yoshi person thing.
Bowser passes out.

Yoshi: There's the Kastle! Come on, let's go!
Zoshi: Going!
They run up to the Koopa Kastle.
Kammy: Stop right there!
Yoshi: Let's get 'em!
Bowser: You can not defeat me!
30 seconds later...
Bowser: Uhhhh... My spine...
Kammy: This is all Karminy's fault...
Zoshi: Who's Karminy?!
Kammy: My... Ow, my head! My little... sister...
Zoshi: What did she do?
Kammy: She... destroyed... Xoshi's Island...
Zoshi: SHE WHAT?!
Yoshi: Dude, calm down. Where is she?
Kammy: Over there...
Kammy points out a window to a dark tower. It looked like a black needle against the red sky.
Zoshi: That's where we're going. Come on, Yoshi.
Yoshi and Zoshi leave the Kastle, and head towards Karminy's Kastle. On the way, they see tons of enemies and puzzles they must defeat and solve, just to get there. Once at Karminy's Kastle, Yoshi and Zoshi break down the door.
Karminy: Well, well, well. The son of Xoshi has come to seek his revenge.
Zoshi: Karminy, why did you destroy my Island?!
Karminy: Because your father was a fool! He dared to take my sacrifice to King Bowser! He and his Island deserved to pay!
Yoshi: Who was the sacrifice?
Zoshi: My mom...
Karminy: Right! You must have picked up some intelligence, but no matter! I'll destroy you, just like your father and his silly wife!
Zoshi: NO!!! This ends now!!!
Yoshi: I'll help you, Zoshi.
Zoshi: No, Yoshi. This is between me and her!
Karminy: As you wish. You will suffer the same fate as your family! DIE!!!
Scary/Cool action music starts to play.
Karminy: Heyah!
She tries to zap Zoshi with her magic wand, but misses.
Zoshi: Nice try! NOT!!! Take this, Karminy!
Zoshi jumps straight at Karminy, but she flies out of the way.
Karminy: You missed! What?!
Once Zoshi missed, he used the other wall as a bumper and jumped back at Karminy, who wasn't prepared for this attack. BOOM! Direct Hit!!!
Karminy: Woah!!! My broom!!!
Zoshi: What now, Karminy Koopa?!
Karminy: THIS!
She shoots energy beams at Zoshi. He dodges two shots, but was hit on the third. Zoshi goes flying and smashes into the wall.
Zoshi: Ow... That hurt... Yo, Karminy! Look at this!!!
Karminy: Wha... NOO!!! My Crystal Ball!!!
Zoshi: Oops...
Zoshi drops it and it shatters.
Karminy: DIE, ZOSHI!!!
She shoots another energy beam at Zoshi.
Zoshi: You missed! Take this!
Zoshi jumps at Karminy, and rapidly kicks her.
Karminy: Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! ERR! Take this, and eat it!
She shoots a really, really BIG energy beam at Zoshi. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! It makes direct contact, and knocks Zoshi right out the hole it made in the wall.
Zoshi: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Karminy: MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Zoshi falls and grabs onto a ledge.
Zoshi: Woah... That was close.
Zoshi jumps back up.
Zoshi: I'm not done with you yet!
Karminy: What?! You lived?!
Yoshi: Yeah!!!
Zoshi: Karminy, THIS IS WHERE YOU LOSE!!! HE-YAH!!!
Zoshi runs straight at Karminy, and headbutts her.
Karminy: NO!!!
Zoshi hits her and she falls out of the Kastle.
Karminy: You haven't seen the last of me, Zoshi!!!
Yoshi: What now?
Zoshi: First of all, we have to go tell that Mario person that we're all right... Then let's go to the Island you live on...
Yoshi nods.
Yoshi: Okay, let's go.
Zoshi suddenly falls unconscious.

Zoshi: … Where am I?
Peach: You passed out.
Zoshi: Really?
Mario: Yes-a, Yoshi brought you-a here.
Yoshi: Yeah, I was waiting so we could go to Yoshi's Island.
Zoshi: Well, I'm ready now.
Yoshi: Okay, follow me.
Yoshi takes Zoshi to Yoshi's Island.
Zoshi: Ahhh... This place is beautiful. My new home.
Yoshi: I wonder what ever happened to Karminy?

Karminy: Uhhh... That didn't go too well... ARGH!!! I WILL GET YOU, ZOSHI!!
