Shadow Mario just stands there as the Koopalings prepare to fight. They are exhausted from the last battle with Bowser and Clawdia, who are still passed out. They are about to strike when-
Shadow Mario: Take this!
Shadow Mario appears right in front of the Koopalings and slams them down with one hit. They are so tired, they can't get up.
Shadow Mario: Was that it? I thought you might have a chance. I should have attacked you earlier, you're all weak!
???????: Sorry I'm late.
Ultimate Yoshi suddenly appears on the platform behind the Koopalings and looks at them.
Ultimate Yoshi: Hey, what happened?
It is then that he sees Shadow Mario.
Ultimate Yoshi: Wha-what are you doing h-
Before he can finish, Shadow Mario punches him in the nose. However, instead of falling over, he only takes a step back.
Ultimate Yoshi: You! I thought I got rid of you a long time ago.
Shadow Mario: Fool! Don't you understand I am a shadow? I can't be beaten!
Ultimate Yoshi and Shadow Mario begin fighting. The Koopalings are getting ready to get up and join their teammate in battle when King Squig gets up.
King Squig: What's going on here?
Ultimate Yoshi looks at King Squig, however Shadow Mario runs over and punches Ultimate Yoshi in the stomach. Ultimate Yoshi falls down and Shadow Mario runs over to King Squig and grabs him and throws him off the platform.
Roy: Hey Shadow Mario, come over here and see if I'm weak now!
Shadow Mario: With pleasure.
Shadow Mario runs over and tries to pound Roy, but right before he does Roy does a backflip and punches Shadow Mario... However, his fist goes right through him.
Roy: What the-
Shadow Mario: TAKE THIS!!!
Shadow Mario then sucks Roy inside him and then changes his shape to make himself a shadow version of Roy.
Shadow Roy: Ha ha ha! He was foolish enough to attack. Anyone else want to take a shot at me?
Ludwig: WHAT IN THE WORLD?! He changed into Roy!
Ultimate Yoshi has now woken up, and sees Shadow Roy.
Ultimate Yoshi: Everyone get away from him!
The Koopalings run over to Ultimate Yoshi.
Larry: What has he done to Roy?
Ultimate Yoshi: He has taken his body over.
Lemmy: Why did his fist go through him?
Ultimate Yoshi: He can only be hurt by things that have a special power that allows you to attack shadow creatures. Otherwise attacking him is useless.
Shadow Roy: That's right, and now that I have imprisoned your friend inside me, you wouldn't want to harm him, now, would you? Surrender and I'll let him go.
Ultimate Yoshi: I'll never surrender to you!
Ludwig: So what are we supposed to do? We don't have the power to hurt him so we can't really do much to him.
Ultimate Yoshi: Well... There is one thing you can do to help me.
Iggy: What is it?
Ultimate Yoshi: I could give you the power to attack him by sharing some of the power within me. However, I would lose some strength.
Wendy: Come on, just give us some. We could outsmart him that way.
Shadow Roy: ENOUGH TALKING!!! Let's finish this!
Shadow Roy charges at Ultimate Yoshi. They all dodge just in time.
Ludwig: Hurry up and give us the power!
Ultimate Yoshi then puts his hands together and creates a ball of light and splits it up into seven pieces. He then sends a piece to each Koopaling. When one of the light orbs hits Shadow Roy, Roy is shot out of him, and the foe changes back to Shadow Mario.
Shadow Mario: So what? You may have given them each the power to hurt me, but you still won't defeat me.
The Koopalings start attacking Shadow Mario, and though they seem to hurt him, he just regains his power. Shadow Mario grabs Larry and throws him into Ludwig. Wendy runs behind Shadow Mario and tries to jump up and smack him, but Shadow Mario just smacks her instead. Lemmy gets on his ball and puts Iggy on his shoulders. He throws Iggy up to Shadow Mario, but Shadow Mario punches Iggy down and attacks Lemmy, slamming him into the floor. Morton gets out his megaphone and screams into it; the soundwaves bounce off Shadow Mario and hit him instead. Ultimate Yoshi makes a big, white ball of energy and throws it at Shadow Mario, but Shadow Mario just absorbs it and becomes stronger. Roy comes over and dodges a punch from Shadow Mario and then hits Shadow Mario as hard as he can. This time Shadow Mario is knocked over and falls on the floor, but after a few moments he just gets back up even stronger.
Shadow Mario: Now do you see? Fools, you can't beat me!
Ultimate Yoshi: I have an idea; if we all attack at the same time we can take him down.
Ludwig: It's worth a shot.
The Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi each prepare to attack. The Koopalings eat some Fire Flowers (which they got out of nowhere) and charge up some fireballs from their mouths, and Ultimate Yoshi charges up a big ball of energy from his hands.
Ultimate Yoshi: READY?
All the Koopalings: READY!
Ultimate Yoshi: FIRE!!!
They each shoot the fireballs and the energy ball at Shadow Mario. However, Shadow Mario saw this coming and jumps out of the way. The Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi shoot at him again and again, but they can't hit him. Shadow Mario starts charging up a big shadow ball of energy while still avoiding the blasts from the Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi. They try their best, but the Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi cann't hit Shadow Mario, and his shadow ball is just about to be fully charged.
Shadow Mario: Bwa ha ha ha ha! Finally I can destroy you all, and then this universe will also be destroyed! At long last I will have my revenge!
The Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi each close their eyes and wait for their doom as Shadow Mario throws the shadow ball at them... BOOM!!!
The Koopalings keep their eyes shut, then slowly they and Ultimate Yoshi open them to see...
Everyone: KING SQUIG?!
King Squig is holding Shadow Mario down after having absorbed the blast of the shadow ball.
King Squig: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! HURRY UP AND ATTACK HIM!!!
The Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi fire one more time.
Shadow Mario: (in slow motion) N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O.
Shadow Mario is hit by the attack and then explodes, blowing King Squig away to the side of the platform.
Lemmy: We beat... him.
King Squig then gets up and floats over to the Koopalings. Ludwig takes a step back in case King Squig tries to attack.
King Squig: Hey, don't worry. I'm safe.
Iggy: How can we be sure?
King Squig: I just saved your lives and helped you defeat Shadow Mario, that's how you can be sure I'm calling a truce.
Ludwig goes over to King Squig to shake hands... er, hand and tentacle, when Shadow Mario suddenly shows up in between them!
Shadow Mario: FOOLS!!!
Ludwig and King Squig jump back away from him.
Shadow Mario: Did you think you defeated me? I thought I told you earlier, I CAN'T BE DEFEATED!!!
When Ultimate Yoshi sees this, he charges up what looks to be a big shadow ball.
Shadow Mario: What the?! I know you won't use that, Ultimate Yoshi. It is too much for you to give up!
Ultimate Yoshi: If it means getting rid of you once and for all, I think I will use it!
Lemmy: Hey, Ultimate Yoshi, what is that and what are you giving up?
However, Ultimate Yoshi remains silent as he throws the shadow ball at Shadow Mario.
Shadow Mario: Oh boy, here we go again, (in slow motion) N-O-O-O-O-O-O-O.
When the shadow ball hits Shadow Mario, he is enveloped in it. After a few moments the shadow ball shrinks until it is nothing. Shadow Mario vanishes along with it.
Wendy: What happened?
Ultimate Yoshi: I just now trapped him in the shadow world, a world opposite to ours.
Morton: A world opposite to ours? Wow, amazing, strange, awesome, too cool, super-
He is cut off by Roy, who puts a sock in Morton's mouth.
Iggy: What did you give up?
Ultimate Yoshi: My powers, like charging up energy balls and stuff like that. But I'm still half Yoshi, half Boo.
King Squig comes back over to shake his tentacle with Ludwig. After they shake, they agree to a truce. Bowser and Clawdia wake up and learn all that has happened to them.
Bowser: Wow. I had no idea that you kids would be able to beat me. I mean, you could beat Clawdia, but-
Clawdia: EXCUSE ME?! But what did you just say?
Bowser: Um... Nothing, Dear.
King Squig: Excuse me, but do you all want to go back to your home planet?
Everyone: YES!!!
King Squig: Well why don't you come with me in my battleship?
Bowser: All right, let's go!
As everyone gets in the UFO, Ultimate Yoshi wonders what to do next. Bowser turns around and sees him.
Bowser: Hey, you.
Ultimate Yoshi: Yes?
Bowser: Why don't you come with us back to my castle?
Ultimate Yoshi: WHAT?! Are you serious?
Bowser: Sure. I thought that since you helped save me and Clawdia, you at least deserve something.
Ludwig comes out of the UFO and sees that Ultimate Yoshi is trying to figure out if he should come or not.
Ludwig: Come on, Ultimate Yoshi.
Ultimate Yoshi: Well... Oh, all right. I'll live with you, not much to do out here anyway. But we need to stop by my mansion so I can tell all the Boos that I won't be living with them anymore.
Bowser: Of course. Now come on, let's get going!
Ultimate Yoshi gets on the UFO and it takes off. After Ultimate Yoshi says goodbye to his Boo friends he gets back on the UFO and it heads to Bowser and Clawdia's castle, but on the way Bowser is thinking about how to beat Mario when he got back.
Bowser: (Hmm, I could... No, that wouldn't work, maybe no.)
It is then Bowser remembers that the Star Carnival is coming up. He thinks some more and figures out a way to get Princess Peach away from Mario and into his clutches.
Bowser: King Squig.
King Squig: Yes?
Bowser: Would you assist me in a plan to capture a princess?
King Squig: Well... Ok, I will. Your kids have defeated me so I will help you.
Bowser chuckles to himself. He knows Mario wonn't be able to stop him now. And as the UFO slowly approaches the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser knows that soon he will not only be the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, but also the ruler of the entire universe! While Bowser thinks of all his plans, the Koopalings and Ultimate Yoshi go about their normal business. As the UFO finally makes it to the Bowser's castle, Ultimate Yoshi gets ready to meet his new home and his new life, Bowser get ready for his new plan, and the Koopalings get ready to finally get back home with their mom and dad.
