Chapter 6: Boat Troubles
Mario and Luigi are back at Toad Town.
Luigi: So where’s the boat to Rogueport?
Mario: I forgot… It’s been four years…
Luigi: I think we should ask some people.
Mario: Here it is.
Mario and Luigi see that the boat for Rogueport is waiting for passengers. Mario and Luigi try to get on it, but are stopped by The Captain.
The Captain: Hold on, me matey! Do you have tickets?
Luigi: No, but-
The Captain: The only way to get on a boat is show me a ticket, or beat me, landlubber. So what’ll it be?
Luigi: For some reason, this guy scares me, Mario. Maybe it’s because he’s so fat. If we-
The Captain: You think I’m scary, landlubber? I’LL SHOW YOU SCARY!
The Captain grows three Marios and two Luigis larger. Now, instead of being about Mario’s size, The Captain is about quadruple their size! Also, all of The Captain’s fat has turned to muscle. That means 450 pounds is now muscle!
Luigi: MAMAMIA!
The Captain: Heh! Think you can take me on now, landlubbers?!
Mario: Let’s go!
Luigi: Mamamia…!
A light bulb appears over Luigi’s head, then he runs away.
Luigi: This is your fight, Mario!
Mario sighs, then gets into a battle stance. Mario uses Hyper Melt. The Captain just shakes the fire off.
The Captain: I am invincible!
The Captain throws Mario through many buildings. When Mario comes back, The Captain grabs him and slams him into the ground.
Mario: Mama…mia…
The Captain: Heh! One attack and you’re tired? WEAK! I’ve fought other people that defeated me, like this one Yoshi and someone else who looked like shadows! Man, to them, I am a wimp!
Luigi: Shadows Yoshi and Waluigi…
The Captain: What did you say their names were?
Mario gets up and punches The Captain with all his might, but to no avail.
The Captain: I already told you! I’m invincible! Why don’t you just go find the tickets, me mateys?
Mario: You started this battle, we’re going to end it, right now! EARTH TREMOR!
The tremors do no damage to The Captain, but they do flip him over.
Mario: HYPER LASER!
The lasers just bounce off of The Captain.
The Captain: Heheheh! Now, if only I could get up…
Luigi sees something, and gets an idea.
Luigi: Mario! I have an idea!
The Captain: Try anything! It won’t work.
Mario and Luigi begin whispering. When they’re done, The Captain still hasn’t gotten up.
Mario: GROUND POUND!
Mario ground pounds The Captain’s stomach. It doesn’t do anything but knock the air out of The Captain.
The Captain: Argh!
While The Captain is recovering, Mario does another Hyper Laser. This time, they do large amounts of damage.
The Captain: UGH! HOW MUCH LONGER WILL I HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOU?!
Mario and The Captain keep fighting. Both are worn out.
The Captain: Ugh… I don’t think I can stand much longer…
Mario: I don’t think I can stand so much longer either…
The Captain steps on Mario. Then Mario faints.
The Captain: HAHAHA! Now, to take care of the green guy. Where is he?
While The Captain’s looking around, Luigi is charging a Green Missile attack. Finally, he releases it into The Captain’s back. The Captain, engulfed with fire, falls down in pain.
The Captain: AHHHHHHH!
Then Luigi gets the Ruby Star from Mario.
Luigi: ART… ATTACK!
The Ruby Star makes several circles around The Captain.
The Captain: Do you… expect that… to hurt… me…?
Then the circles explode.
The Captain: AHHHHHH! OKAY, I GIVE UP! DON’T HURT ME ANYMORE!
The Captain shrinks back to his original size. Mario, hearing that The Captain gave up, gets up.
Luigi: Mario, are you ok?
Mario: Yeah, I think.
The Captain: Yeh beat me. Ok, you mateys can get on the ship.
Mario and Luigi get on.
Luigi: I can’t believe I defeated a guy that powerful!
Mario: If you’re part of the Mario Bros, you can do anything.
A few hours pass, then the boat finally leaves. When it’s halfway there, a Bob-omb falls from the sky, followed by another, followed by Shadow Waluigi!
Luigi: I thought you disintegrated at Flipside!
Shadow Waluigi: Wrong! Anyway, I’m here to blast your little ship all the way to the Beanbean Kingdom!
Mario: It isn’t far, you know.
Shadow Waluigi: Whatever! BOB-OMBS, ATTACK!
Millions of Bob-ombs drop down from the sky. Everyone starts working to throw them overboard, but there’s too many Bob-ombs and too few people. Eventually all the Bob-ombs get ready for one huge explosion.
Mario: Oh no!
Luigi: They’re going to explode!
Random Toad: Thank you, Captain Obvious!
The Bob-ombs explode
and the Mario Bros. are sent high into the sky. Where they will end up,
only I know!
Chapter 7: Check on Bowser
The setting is now Bowser’s Castle.
Bowser: NOOO! I HAD A CRYSTAL STAR AND THEY HAD NONE, BUT THEY STILL BEAT ME!
Kamek: Don’t worry, Bowser. We’ll go and locate all of the Crystal Stars!
Bowser: We’ll?! You will! Better yet, KOOPALINGS! COME HERE NOW!
The Koopalings, from Bowser Jr. to Ludwig, come.
Ludwig: Yes, King Dad?
Bowser: I want you to go and get each one of those Crystal Stars! Come back unsuccessful, and you go to the dungeon for three months!
Ludwig: Don’t worry. We will not fail you.
Larry: If we see the Marios, do we crush them?
Bowser: NO! If you see them, get the Crystal Stars away from them and into our hands!
Bowser Jr: But a lot of us are going to lose!
Lemmy: I won’t lose, I’m sure. So, Ludwig, where do we go?
Ludwig: I will use my machine to figure it out. The Marios have the Diamond and Ruby Stars.
Bowser: Let me see where those Stars are! Hmm… All right! Roy, Morton, and Ludwig, you’re going after the Marios. Larry, you go for the Emerald Star. Lemmy, you go for the Gold Star. Iggy, you go and get the Garnet Star. Wendy, get the Sapphire Star. Bowser Jr. and I will get the Crystal Star. Any questions?!
Koopalings: No.
Bowser: Then get going!
The Koopalings, Bowser, and Kamek leave.
Bowser: Why are you coming, Kamek?
Kamek: So that I may help you and Bowser Jr. I can see that we will be up against tough opponents.
