Bowser: I hate level 1-3! It’s too hot. I live in a place where the sun never rises or sets.
Mario: Quit it now!
Peach: If you two don’t shut up I’ll make you.
Mario: Are you sure Merlon sent us to the right place?
Peach: Yeah, because there’s the cloning center right there.
Bowser: I’ll take them out now!
Mario and Peach have to hold him back.
Mario: Not now, we’ll do it at night when it’s easier to sneak in.
Bowser: But the desert’s cold at night!
Mario: You said you live in place where the sun never rises or sets. Which is an obviously cold place. I still can’t believe you have a problem with that.
Bowser: *groan…*
Meanwhile on Plit…
Clone: Lord Dimentio, we have spotted an abandoned castle in Dark Land. Plit is now fully under our control.
Dimentio: Still no news on our escaped prisoners?
Clone: We haven’t seen them since they escaped.
Dimentio: I know who can track them down.
Clone: Who might that be?
Dimentio: Enter the room, evil ones!
Mr. L, Cackletta, Doopliss, and The Joker from the Dark Knight enter.
Dimentio: Sit down, everyone.
They sit on chairs.
Dimentio: Ok, let’s wind the clocks back to two years after the events of SPM. These so-called villains except Bowser wouldn’t dare cross the line. What happened to them? Did your eyes fall out?
Joker: You stole my line!
Dimentio: No, no, I know who is the problem. The Mario Bros. With them Plit and everywhere else is always safe, no matter what.
Doopliss: What’s the plan?
Dimentio: Simple, we kill the Mario Bros, but Mario first.
Joker: What about the other Brother? I will happily wipe him out for you.
Dimentio: I brainwashed him, and he’s in this room on our side.
They look at Mr. L.
Dimentio: With Mario still out there, he is a danger to us. I’m sending Mr. L to find Mario and the Joker to find the people who left the castle, as it was Bowser’s.
Meanwhile…
It’s nighttime and Mario is talking to Peach and Bowser.
Mario: Looks pretty well guarded. Don’t worry, Luigi, and I have gotten into more heavily guarded places than this. Ok, let’s go over the plan one more time. I will use this fishing pole to lure some guards away.
Peach: While Mario is doing that, Bowser and I will infiltrate the building. I’ll handle the guard’s while-
Bowser: I get through the door and shut off the main cloning machines, stopping their cloning for good.
Mario: Good, just be careful, they have searchlights.
Mario gets a rock and ties it to a line on a fishing pole. Peach and Bowser sneak away. Mario puts the rock close to a guard. He reels in the rock slowly.
Clone Guard: What was that?
He follows it while Mario reels it in far enough where the other guards can’t see him, then Mario knocks out the guard. Peach and Bowser walk slowly, then run in between two searchlights and reach a wall.
Peach: Get inside, I’ll handle the guards.
Bowser sneaks in through the air duct. Mario by now has taken care of all the guards outside. He runs inside and knocks out a guard who was about to punch the alarm button. He hacks into the computer.
Meanwhile in the Bitlands…
Joker: All right, these… turtles are whom I have to kill. I also want to kill that clown who bosses me around. That copycat!
The Joker finds the castle where the Koopalings and Clawdia are staying.
Joker: There’s an old, rundown castle.
Lemmy is watching one of Francis’s stupid shows because that’s all that runs in the Bitlands.
Lemmy: Is this all the junk that runs around here?
Lemmy notices a figure hiding in the bushes. He walks into the living room where the other Koopalings and Clawdia are, when the TV they are watching turns into a strange camera. The Joker is seen about to speak.
Joker: Listen up, people, I have a bomb strapped to every castle in this dimension. If the Koopa army leader does not walk out and surrender to me I will blow up this dimension. Oh, and you have two minutes to talk about it.
Larry: Dad is the leader, he’s not here.
Wendy: After Dad, the most powerful person in the army is…
The look at Bowser Jr…
Soon Bowser Jr. is walking around outside. The Joker grabs him and holds a knife to one side of his lip. Inside, everyone gasps.
Joker: Hello there! You’re too young to be the leader of an army.
Bowser Jr: Go away, freak! I’ve had enough of clowns for a while.
Joker says the why so serious line.
Joker: You know what I mean?
Bowser Jr: Yes, I’ve seen the Dark Knight!
Joker: Now where was I? Oh yes!
Just as the Joker is about to hurt Bowser Jr, Roy kicks the Joker.
Joker: Ah yes, friends of yours?
Roy: Nobody messes with him but me, clown freak.
Roy punches the Joker in the gut. He then pushes the Joker onto the ground. The Joker gets up and is about to activate the bomb but Ludwig grabs it from him.
Joker: Aw groan! I’m out of here! That other clown freak won’t be pleased.
The Joker creates a portal back to Dimentio’s (Peach’s) castle. He jumps through it and it fades away.
Roy: What was that guy doing here?
Ludwig: Working for Dimentio?
Bowser Jr: Roy, thank you for saving my life.
Roy: It was nothing, Brother.
Inside they tell Clawdia and the other Koopalings what happened.
Clawdia: I’d better call Bowser.
Meanwhile…
Mario: This isn’t how you sneak into a building!
Bowser: I improvised! I shut off the main cloning controls, didn’t I?
Mario: Yes, and alerted everyone in here, and now a whole mob is after us.
They reach the exit, where Peach is waiting for them
Peach: What took you so long?
Bowser: I ran into a little trouble.
Mario: The explosives are in place.
Peach: Activate them!
Mario sets off a Bob omb in the building, destroying the cloning machines. Just then Bowser’s phone rings.
Bowser: What! Oh, well that’s good. I’ll be right there.
Peach: Who was that?
Bowser: I’ll explain later. Let’s get out of here.
Later…
Bowser: I came as soon as I could.
Clawdia: He’s still recovering, but he’s okay.
Merlon walks in.
Merlon: I’m sorry for what happened. You see, Dimentio has hundreds of cloning building all over the universe. I knew you would destroy the one in Lineland.
Bowser: What?! So you were testing us?!
Bowser stretches his fingers as if ready to punch him.
Merlon: Stop, just stop! I’ll tell you what he’s really after! He wants something, something he didn’t have last time. He needs that one cursed book that should never be opened by any being in the universe, something that almost got us last time.
Peach: The Dark Prognostics, or something like that. The book that Bleck used to create the Chaos Heart. But I thought that Bleck ripped some of its pages out and flushed it down the toilet.
Merlon: He did, but the wind blew the pages into different locations around the universe. He already has the book itself, but he needs the seven missing pages. I know where they are thanks to the Light Prognosticus. It knows the location of every page in its dark counterpart. I know where one page is in Merlee’s Mansion.
Peach: Isn’t that where Mimi sells cutie pies? If she’s still there, of course.
Merlon: She will be there, and I want you three to get it.
Mario: No, I must go alone! I need to go solo this time.
Peach: Mario, you can’t leave me here with Bowser!
Merlon: I’ll stay here and keep a close eye on her.
Bowser: Yay, just the princess, the old man, and me!
Mario throws Peach a phone.
Mario: Call me in case Bowser decides to double-cross us.
Mario leaves via the orange dimensional door that Merlon creates.
