Phil: As they competed with each other, hoping to win the 1 million coin prize, problems were always around the corner. Teams faced puzzling challenges…

Phil: … And shocking twists…
Paratroopa: What?!
Phil: Which eventually led to the elimination of 8 teams.
Phil (Replays): Beldam & Marilyn? Cackletta & Fawful? Neil & Ella? Patrick & Norman? Foshi & Xoshi? Iggy & Lemmy? Kooper & Koops? Dixie & Tiny? I’m sorry to tell you you’ve been eliminated from the race.
Tiny: *sobs*
Phil: Partners Koopa & Paratroopa began the race under the radar, and even faltered a few times.
Phil (Replay): And for that you have incurred a 30-minute penalty.
Phil: But their hard work and determination, helped them stay in the game.
Phil (Replay): Team number 1!
Paratroopa: Wheeheee!!!
Phil: During the Intersection, Koopa & Paratroopa managed to get into Kat & Ana’s and Dixie & Tiny’s circle of friends, later protecting them from the wrath of the Yield.
Koopa: Oh, man…
Phil: And now they’re in the final three… Sisters and Ninjas Kat & Ana were frontrunners from the beginning…
Phil (Replay): Team number 1!
Kat: What?!
Phil: … and have since never placed lower than third place. Along the way, they made friends with Dixie & Tiny, creating one of the race’s most powerful alliances ever. Though competition outweighed friendship towards the end, Kat & Ana still helped get revenge for Dixie & Tiny’s Yield.
Kat: … choose to Yield Booster & Snifit.
Phil: Their competitive spirit and drive to succeed has earned them a spot in the final three…
Kat: That’s great!
Phil: … but has also placed a target on their backs… Lackey and Master Booster & Snifit were the race’s clowns.
Booster (Various shots): I’ve eaten diamonds before! Tires come out! SNYFUT!!! Did you say jump or fart?
Phil: From the beginning, they encountered many problems, coming in second-to-last on nine legs, and being saved by two non-elimination legs.
Snifit: Uuugggghhh…
Phil: But they carried with them a will to never give up…
Phil (Replay): Team number three!
Phil: …and narrowly managed to sneak into the final three. Tonight: One of these three teams will win the 1 million coin prize… and the Amazing Race.

Phil: This is the Beach Bowl Galaxy! The most spectacular vacation spot in the entire universe! It was also the twelfth Pit Stop in a race around the MK! Teams arrived here at the end of the last leg for a mandatory rest period. As darkness settles over the Beach Bowl, the final three teams are preparing to race for the million.
***Kat: We’re here to win. Losing is not an option. We will bring shame upon ourselves if we do not win, so we must.
***Paratroopa: I’m so excited! I almost don’t care about winning because I’ve had so much fun! ... ALMOST!
***Snifit: Now, it’s every man, woman, and Booster for themselves. Things are going to get ugly.
Phil: Koopa & Paratroopa… who were the first to arrive at 2:02 PM… will depart… at 2:02 AM.

Koopa: This is surreal…
Paratroopa: Launch back to the Comet Observatory and catch a Rocket to Toad Town…
Phil: Teams must take a Launch Star back to the Comet Observatory, where they will catch the 5:00 AM rocket back to their Final Destination City: Toad Town. When they arrive, they will discover something surprising.
Paratroopa: “… when you arrive, find out what’s new.”
Koopa: Toad Town, eh? Isn’t that where they ended the last race?
Paratroopa: Yeah…
Koopa: Huh… That’s not very original…
***Koopa: We’re leaving the final leg in first place… Our spirits are high, and we’re gonna win!
***Paratroopa: So excited!!! Wooooo!!!

Phil: Teams must figure out how to get to Peach’s Castle, which has been lifted into the sky by Bowser’s castle, in a tribute to previous events when Bowser stole the Star Rod. To get there, they will have to make their way here: Shooting Star Summit, where a Star Chariot is waiting for them.

Kat: Detour…
Phil: In this Detour, teams will have to choose between two final tasks that will bring together a culmination of all of their skills. They must choose between Minions and Mayhem. In Minions, teams will enter this storage room, where they must search for a lost minion of Bowser. Once they have found him, they will receive a map and must guide the minion to the summit of Bowser’s Castle. Finally, they will have to battle said enemy to receive their next clue, although this last part is a secret. In Mayhem, teams will instead go into this room, where they will have to figure out that the torches on the walls indicate which rooms they’re supposed to enter. Once they make their way through the maze, they will find themselves outside, where they will ascend to the top using a mechanical ascender.

Ana: Bowser’s minions are all idiots…

Paratroopa: Stuck in a loop…? That sounds familiar…
Koopa: Isn’t that like what Bowser did? You know, when he first kidnapped Peach?
Paratroopa: Yeah…

***Paratroopa: We remembered that the torches were the key… they showed you the way.

Phil: In this Final Roadblock, one team member will have to put their minds to the test and remember as much as they can about their extensive journey on the race. In the main hall of Peach’s Castle, each team will find a large board with 12 blanks. Each blank represents one leg from the race, and above each blank is a symbol indicating Route Info, a Detour, a Roadblock, a Fast Forward, a Yield, or a Pit Stop. Teams will race around the many rooms and areas of Peach’s Castle and search for special coins. These coins are marked with pictures, many of which are of things seen on the race. Teams must search for the coin that matches the designated task for each leg of the race. If they are correct, they will receive their next clue. There are duplicates, and there is a coin for both sides of any Detour.

Here they must defeat Bowser to save Princess Peach, who will use her magic to bring the battle platform back down to Toad Town, where the Finish Line awaits.

race was Amazing… which is where it got its name from I guess! Haha! It
felt so great just to run through the whole thing. We had ups, and we had
downs, but we never gave up. We never backed down. We didn’t win, but we
got an amazing experience that neither of us will ever forget.
***Paratroopa:
I wouldn’t change the outcome for anything. We played the game like gentlemen,
and we tried our best. We got some first place finishes and won some prizes!
The experience was the best prize though. We won something worth more than
anything in the world.

it was the hardest thing you could possibly imagine. Every minute was just…
backbreaking, and it wears you down… You feel so stressed and it’s all
because of the game… but it was worth it. I got to see so many places and
had a wonderful experience… But seriously, I’m going to therapy.
***Booster: Booster likes cheezburgers. The rayc was cheezburgerific! I lyked it so much, and it was funner that pizza on your sox! Where’s snyfut? Ah, well… I had fun and my poodle is macaroni.
