Phil: Previously on The Amazing Race MK!
Phil: Seven teams rode the Rainbow Ride Cruiser to Paintbrush City and jumped through a painting to Tiny-Huge Island! In the first Fast Forward of the race, two teams squared off in fierce competition. In the end, Raz & Raini came out victorious and checked in in first place! Meanwhile, other teams were having various difficulties. It was a close race, but eventually Chanterelle & Toadofsky were eliminated, having incurred a penalty. Now…six teams remain…Who will be eliminated…next?

Phil: This is Tiny Huge-Island! A mysterious island isolated in the Mushroom Sea, it houses very mysterious properties. The many pipes scattered around can make it a strange environment to be sure. And inside this massive mountain in the center is the home of Wiggler, the sixth Pit Stop in a race around the MK! Teams arrived here for a mandatory rest period. Will Doopliss & Flurrie be able to climb out of last place? And can anyone prevent the Bros. from getting their fourth first-place finish? Raz & Raini, who were the first to arrive…will depart…at 9:29 AM

Raz: Take a boat to any airport you wish and then fly to the land Mario created all on his own, also known as Mario Land!
Phil: Teams can now hire a boat to any nearby airport and then fly to Mario Land. One of two places in the Mushroom Kingdom to be named Mario Land, this particular region was the home of Mario’s second party, and includes many lands such as Western Land and Space Land. When teams land, they must enter this pipe and find their way to Mystery Land to get their next clue.

Hammer: A Detour!
Phil: A Detour is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons! In this Detour, teams must explore the vast areas of Mystery Land and choose between Archaeology and Astrology. In Archaeology, teams travel to this nearby pyramid in the southwest of the land. Then, they must enter this small passageway and descend into the catacombs below. Once at the bottom, they will find some hieroglyphs and a legend. They must translate these hieroglyphs into their next clue. Translating the ancient language is not very difficult, but teams will have to travel all the way down and then all the way back up the catacombs. In Astrology, teams will travel to this strange area in the central-east, a place where the Party-goers could become trapped. Once there, they will find a telescope. They must then gaze into the sky and find the constellation marked on their clue. This task is slightly more difficult, but teams will travel less distance.

Phil: A Roadblock is a task that only one person may perform, and no one can do more than six! Between some of his more famous adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario also did some minor things that, while not world-wide famous, were important to the history of this Kingdom. In fact, one of the least well-known escapades Mario set out on was his archaeological dig. Now, teams will experience the mental frustration that Mario faced when he discovered that he was, in fact, digging up…Picross…Team members will choose a large slab of rock and must successfully use Picross to reveal a picture. Teams will use these numbers to determine how many squares must be colored in on any row or column. If teams should incorrectly color in a square, a 5-minute penalty will be imposed while the square is replaced. Once teams reveal the correct picture, they will receive their next clue.
