Note: You must read Mario and Luigi and the Golden Taco, or you will not understand this Scribble!
Hello, and welcome
to Luigi (Finally!) and the Marvelous Mushroom!
Luigi: Finally!
You kept your promise from Mario and Luigi and the Golden Taco!
Keep your mouth
shut. You’re lucky I even agreed.
Luigi: Fine.
This better be good.
Whatever. Anyway,
after they were completely roasted by the Takanushians, I agreed Luigi
would have his own adventure. After a few weeks of plastic surgery, they
look exactly as they did before they were roasted.
Mario: BACON!
Luigi: *sigh*
I'm bored. I'm gonna see what's on TV.
Luigi reaches
for the remote, but realizes it vanished from the armrest of his chair.
He turns to his dimwitted sibling, Mario, only to find we is consuming
the remote.
Luigi: Mario.
Hand it over.
Mario: It's mine!
Luigi: MARIO...
Mario: Mine!
Luigi lunges
at Mario, trying to pull the now saliva-covered remote out of his mouth,
but Mario puts up quite a battle. Luigi finally gets hold of the remote
and pulls with all this might. Mario finally releases the remote, but this
causes Luigi to be launched into the wall behind him.
Luigi: HA! I've
still got-
Luigi finds that
half of the remote is missing and sees Mario licking his lips.
Mario: Yummy!
Luigi: MARIO...!
After a quick
stop at Future Shop, Luigi has bought a new remote.
Mario: TV!
Luigi pulls out
a ball.
Mario: BALL!
Luigi: Fetch.
Luigi throws
the ball out the window and Mario chases it into the outskirts of the Kingdom.
Mario: Ball!
Back at Mario's
house...
Luigi: Finally!
A few minutes to myself. Let's see what's on TV.
Luigi grabs the
remote and turns on the TV.
Reporter Toad
(on TV): We're here live at the Toad Town Museum, where a mysterious object
has been found. Hi, Mom!
Reporter Toadette:
What seemed like a peaceful day, turned into a nightmare. Ever since the
scientists found that marvelous artifa-
Wario runs through
the crowd behind the reporter, chasing a penny.
Wario: MONEY!
Reporter Toadette:
... Ever since the scientists found that marvelous artifact, strange happenings
have been occouring around Toad Town.
Witness: My pants
blew off in public!
Witness 2: I
failed college!
Little Kid: I
lost my lollypop! WAAH!
Reporter Toadette:
... So, there you have it. And as we all know, nobody wants to lose a lollypop.
Let's get a closer look at this "bad luck charm".
The screen changes
to a stone replica of a silver Mushroom. It has a red eye and starts rattling.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shoots from the sky and electrocutes the
reporter.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!!!
The TV goes blank.
Luigi:
:O ... Hmmm... (I bet with a magic charm like that, Mario will
leave the kingdom for the rest of eternity! Super LUIGI 64, Super LUIGI
Bros. LUIGI'S Mansion with NO MARIO! I gotta get my hands on that thing!
He runs out the
door. At the market, he sees scientists talking.
Scientist: Isn't
it strange that ever since we found this stone, bad luck has been happening
to us?
Scientist 2:
Indeed, and isn't it strange that we're talking about random things in
an unexpected place for scientists?
Scientist: Indeed.
Luigi: Doofus.
