Mario and Luigi are filming for the next Super Mario Bros. game. They are trying to fight the enemies and get through the levels. Mario does it with great ease. However, it is proving to be harder than Luigi thought. Like this:

Take #1

Mario jumps on a Koopa Troopa, then picks its shell up and hurls it at 10 enemies, earning a 1-Up. Luigi jumps on a Koopa Troopa, then picks it up and tries to hurl it at 10 enemies, but misses and hits the wall. It bounces back and hits Luigi hard in the face. He gets a nosebleed.

Take #2

There is a platform high up. If Mario and Luigi time their jumps on the Bullet Bills, then they will be able to get up. Mario times his jumps perfectly and manages to get on to the platform. Luigi isn’t as good. He
gets hit by all the Bullet Bills, then falls from the sky and lands in an awkward position. Painful.

Take #3

There are two ? Blocks. Mario hits one and gets a Super Mushroom. He turns big. Luigi hits the other one and gets a Poison Mushroom. He turns dead.

Take #4

Two pipes appear. One is red and one is green. Mario and Luigi have to go down these pipes to get to the underground passage. Mario goes into the red pipe and now he is underground. Luigi goes into the green pipe but there is a Piranha Plant in there. Now he is in the Piranha Plant.

Take #5

Mario and Luigi are in a room with a low ceiling. There are spikes on the floor. Mario jumps accurately and avoids the spikes. Luigi jumps too high, hits the ceiling, and then lands right on the spikes. The result isn’t that nice.

Take #6

Mario and Luigi are now in a room full of ghosts. Mario uses the new Poltergust 4001 to get rid of all the ghosts. He does it successfully. Luigi uses the Poltergust 4001 as well to get rid of the ghosts. When he finishes a large ghost appears and scares off Luigi. He runs off screaming.

Take #7

Mario and Luigi are now in a water level. Mario has just completed the level. Now it’s Luigi’s turn. He dives into the water and swims through the level until the last little bit. He sees a Tubba Blubba and it chases him.
The next moment he's eaten by the Tubba Blubba. If you have a feeling of déjà vu you must have remembered this bit from Luigi’s Never Ending Nightmare:

He wakes up. He's swimming in a lake. Next moment he's eaten by a Tubba Blubba.

Take #8

Mario and Luigi find two Fire Flowers. They then see two Goombas walking towards them. Mario shoots a fireball at them. It misses but rebounds off the wall and hits one of the Goombas unexpectedly. Luigi tries the same thing. His fireball rebounds off the wall but misses the other Goomba and gets Luigi, who catches on fire.

Take #9

It’s the final battle, Mario and Luigi vs. Bowser. At last Bowser is too tired too carry on. Mario presses the switch that destroys the bridge. As Luigi jumps over to Mario, Bowser grabs Luigi just as Mario destroys the
bridge. That means that Luigi falls into the lava pit as well as Bowser! Poor Luigi…

Take #10

It’s the end of the day. Luigi is sick and tired of his unluckiness. Sadly, so is the director of the Super Mario Bros. games. He's decided to make a game that only Mario is in. Mario gets a raise. Luigi gets fired.

Luigi: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
