King Koopa's Item Chest

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe

Album: As you accomplish various tasks in throughout the game, you'll be awarded with pictures. If you have a Gameboy Printer, you can even print them. Found by Hip.

Bowser Medal: The badge given to Mario when he beats the second mission of the game, where the Goombas are replaced with Buzzy Beetles. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Bowser Picture: If Mario somehow, by dumb luck, manages to beat my first four Bowser clones using fireballs (revealing the minion inside), you recieve this handsome picture for the album. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Bounce Block: Found in the Boo Races. These are a cross between springboards and Note Blocks from SMB3/World. The name says it all. Found by Hip.

Calendar: Found in the Toy Box. You can browse through the months from January 0 to December 2999 if you really want to. You can also mark certain dates too. Not sure what the point of this is, or what it has to do with Mario at all. Found by Hip.

Card: In the Toy Box's Fortune Telling option. Pick one of five cards to receive your fortune. You can get as many fortunes as you want, though the only one you can benefit from is Extremely Lucky, which gives you a 5-Up for each file. Found by Hip.

Face Block: Found in the Boo Races. Hitting it fills in or erases Ghost Blocks. Note that Boo can hit these too. Found by Hip.

Ghost Block: Found in the Boo Races. In levels with Face Blocks, hit a Face Block to fill in the dotted lines with these, or make them disappear.  In levels with Number Blocks, these will vanish and reappear every three seconds or if you hit a Number Block. Found by Hip.

Green Spring Box: Makes you go incredibly high! So high that you're not on the screen for about three seconds. Found by Bam.

Luigi Medal: Complete the Lost Levels. Found by Bam.

Mario and Luigi Picture: If Mario somehow manages to take down the last three Bowser clones and me (yeah, right) with fireballs, you recieve this much less handsome picture of Mario and Luigi shaking hands for your album. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Mario Medal: The badge given to Mario when he beats the first mission of the game. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Metal Block: Found in the Boo Races. Ordinary looking block that will turn into Spike Blocks and back every three seconds, or if you hit a Number Block. Found by Hip.

Number Block: Found in the Boo Races. Hitting one turns Metal Blocks into Spike Blocks (and vice versa) instantly instead of having to wait three seconds. It also makes Ghost Blocks appear and vanish instantly instead of waiting three seconds. Found by Hip.

Peach Medal: The badge given to Mario when he beats all challenge mode levels with the red coins, Yoshi eggs, and the high score. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Red Coin: Found in Challenge Mode. Five Red Coins can be found in every level. Some are easy to find, while others are really hard. Find all five and beat the level to receive a Red Coin Medal for that level. Found by Hip.

Red Coin Medal: Find all five Red Coins in a level and beat it to receive one of these. There's 32 in total. I'd like to see Mario find any! Found by Hip.

Score Medal: Found in Challenge Mode. Beat the target score of a level to receive this. There's 32 in total. No way Mario will ever see one of these! Found by Hip.

Spike Block: Found in the Boo Races. I wouldn't touch these if I were you. They will turn into Metal Blocks and back every three seconds, or if you hit a Number Block. Found by Hip.

Toad Medal: The badge given to Mario when he fills up the score bar at the bottom of the screen on the challenge mode menu. Found by Miles "Thumbs" Power.

Yoshi Egg: Found in Challenge Mode. There's one hidden in an invisible block in every level. Beat the level once you collect the egg to receive a Yoshi Medal for that level. Found by Hip.

Yoshi Medal: Find the Yoshi Egg in a level and beat it to receive one of these. There's 32 in total. I laugh at the thought of Mario getting any! Found by Hip.
