Blue Koopa Shell: Turns Mario into Koopa Mario. He can dodge enemies by retracting into his shell. When rolling, he acts like a normal Koopa shell. Found by Axemblack97.

Cannon: A cannon with the world it shoots you to written on it. Not the smartest way to travel, but... Found by myBand.

Coin: Gold coins are worth 1, blue are worth 5. Found by Axemblack97.

Door: A door that allows you to go places in a level. It has the control pad for the DS and an arrow pointing up on it. Hear that? NINTENDO THINKS WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO OPEN DOORS! Found by myBand.

Fire Flower: Turns Mario into Fire Mario, allowing him to throw fireballs. Found by Axemblack97.

Gray ? Block: Found in ghost houses. These make items fall on the ground, and sometimes, Boos pop out. Found by Shy Ranger.

Invisible Block: A ? Block you can't see until you bash it. Found by Axemblack97.

Mega Block: A gigantic block found in Mega Mushroom houses and the wallpaper house. Lets you get a Mega Mushroom in your inventory and choose a wallpaper, respectively. Found by myBand.

Mega Mushroom: Makes Mario or Luigi super size, destroying anything in their path. Found by Axemblack97.

Mini Mushroom: Turns the Mario Bros. into the size of a flea, letting them  fit into tight places and go through small pipes. But they cannot defeat enemies. Found by Axemblack97.

P Switch: Turns coins to blocks and vice versa for a limited time. Found by Axemblack97.

Red Coin: Only found by a red coin ring. Eight of these appear when you go through a red coin ring. Found by Axemblack97.

Red Coin Ring: Makes eight red coins appear. Grab all eight within the time limit to get a power up. Found by Axemblack97.

Roulette Block: Holds a Starman, a Blue Koopa Shell, a Fire Flower, and a Mini Mushroom. Hit the block when what you want is there. Found by Axemblack97.

Skull Switch: Breaks the bridge the Koopa King is on. Found by Fly Guy.

Spin Block: If you jump on this, you will do a spinning jump! If you then press down on the DS, you will do a drill smash. Found by Yosh 3000.

Star: These are found in multiplayer games with Mario against Luigi. Collect and steal these to win the match! KILL THAT SNOTTY BROTHER OF YOURS, LUIGI! Found by Giga Bowser X.

Star Coin: There are three in each level. They can be used to open new routes on the map. Found by Axemblack97.

Starman: Makes Mario invincible. Found by Axemblack97.

Super Mushroom: Doubles Mario or Luigi's size and lets them break blocks. Found by Axemblack97.

Vine: Lets Mario climb to other areas. Found by Axemblack97.

Wallpaper: After beating the game, buy these at a Blue Mushroom House in World 1. These change the background picture on your bottom screen during gameplay. Found by Shy Ranger.

Warp Pipe: In a level, sends you to another area, or sometimes to the bottom screen. There are also a few secret ones on some world maps that warp you closer to the castle. Found by Shy Ranger.

Winged ? Block: A flying ? Block. Red ones hold rarer items. Found by Axemblack97.

1-Up Mushroom: Gives Mario an extra life. Found by Axemblack97.

? Block: Hit or ground pound on it to get a coin or item. Found by Axemblack97.

? Switch: Makes something happen around the area you are in. Found by Axemblack97.

! Switch: Makes blocks appear for a short time. Look for block outlines and you may find  this. Found by Axemblack97.
