It took a long time to get Yoshi completely painted, because every time Boo tried to paint his tummy he shook with laughter and Boo had to try again. When Boo was done, Yoshi had changed from green to white, only the white wasn't a normal white, it glowed.

"This came out better than I thought it would," Boo said.

"Let me see!" Yoshi called.

Boo brought Yoshi to a nearby mirror. Yoshi almost scared himself when he looked, but then he remembered that he was only looking at himself.

'You're right, I look scary! So what's the plan?" Yoshi asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Boo answered. Yoshi just looked. "Ok, here's the plan..."

"What's he doing in there?" Lemmy whined. Two years had passed since Yoshi had entered the old house, and some of the Dino Kids were no longer kids. Ludwig had grown up as well, and Bowser had finally defeated Mario.

"Chill, Lemmy," Iggy said. "I'm sure he'll get that ball soon."

"You've said that about a thousand times already!" Larry sighed, eager for the game to continue.

"Look! Someone's coming out of that old house!" one of the Dino Kids shouted and pointed.

Yoshi was coming out of the house, but he wasn't the Yoshi they all remembered.

"Does he have skin?" Iggy asked, afraid to look.

"Of course! This is still a Mario story, ya know," said Lemmy.

Another Dino Kid ran up to Yoshi. "What happened to you?" she asked.

"Got ball... but... killed by ghost," Yoshi panted, repeating the lines Boo had told him.

"Yoshi!" the Dino Kids cried.

"I don't believe it!" said Morton. "I never saw a ghost walk before."

Yoshi made his slow way to Lemmy, then fell at his feet. "Here's... your ball."

"About time!" Lemmy snapped, taking it.

"I dare you to go in the house and save my spirit!" Yoshi suddenly shouted.

"Huh?" Lemmy stammered.

"Or I'll haunt you forever!"

"Do it, Lemmy!" Wendy begged. "He's scaring me!"

"I'm not scared," Lemmy said. "I'll be out in no time."

Lemmy started towards the house. The other Koopalings followed tentatively, while the Dino Kids tended to Yoshi. Lemmy put his hand on the front door, when suddenly a ghost swam through it and screamed. "BOO!"

The sudden scare froze Lemmy and frightened the other Koopalings away. "I thought you said it was fake!" Roy called to Morton.

"Shut up and run!" Morton called back.

The Dino Kids had heard nothing, but Yoshi was laughing. "It was all a trick!" he said. Yoshi then explained what had happened in the house, and that he and Boo had come up with a plan to get back at the Koopa Kids.

"You were brave!" a Dino Kid said in awe.

"Aw, it was nothing," Yoshi blushed. "Come on, I have to go wash off."

As they left, Yoshi stopped just long enough to punt the still-frozen Lemmy back in the direction the other Koopa Kids ran.

"Hey. who won the game?" another Dino Kid asked.

"We did," Yoshi said, "because the Koopa Kids are zero!"
