Gameplay: 6
In Pokemon Snap it's simply about a Pokemon photographer named Todd who has been invited by Professor Oak. All Todd is doing is taking pictures of Pokemon in different areas of an island.
Music: 8
I like the music. You guys might like
the Poke Flute because there's three different songs on it. The
music I think you'll like the most
is the icy cave song because it's kind of original and mysterious.
Graphics: 6
Not the best graphics I've seen from this system but at least it's better than the graphics in Pokemon Red and Blue.
Size: 10
The game covers the whole island. It
features the beach, rock tunnel, volcano, river, icy cave, a valley, and
a special area where you're in the
sky.
Characters: 2
For crying out loud, Todd and Professor Oak are the only people in the game! I gave an extra point because the game includes the legendary Mew.
Items: 1
Just one point. The only items in Pokemon Snap are apples, the Poke Flute, and the pester ball. There might be more but those are the most important items in the game.
Control: 10
The controls are really simple. A is to take a picture, B is to throw a pester ball, C is to play the Poke Flute, Z is to aim the shot, and R is to boost the vehicle.
Secrets: 1
The only secrets in the game are those signs Mew made. Honestly, it's not hard to find them though you may need to use your items.
Fun Factor!: 3
At first it's not too hard, but after you photograph all the Pokemon. No action.
Overall: 5
It's not bad but it can still get boring still. This game is just too easy.
Recommendation: Hm... I don't know other games just like Pokemon Snap, but I do know that Pokemon Stadium 1 has a gallery and you can take pictures. I would suggest that game because the graphics are better and the Pokemon look cooler.
