Story: 8
Quite a simple story, here’s how it goes: One day in Wario’s house, Wario is watching the telly while doing a bit of nose cleaning as usual. Suddenly, a commercial appears. It is all about game sales raising a mountain of cash because of the new Gameboy Advance game: Pyoro! This gives Wario an idea! “I know! I’ll make a new software company to make money!” Later that day, Wario goes to buy a new laptop computer for his new company. After making some changes to his home, Wario starts to make his masterpiece. He calls his friends to help him make his game and Wario Ware, Inc. begins!
Characters: 10
Man, there are so many characters in this game; I’ll have to explain my faves. First up, 9-Volt. She’s a cool DJ and loves Nintendo classics including Super Mario Bros.! My next fave is Jimmy T. He’s a cool disco dude who makes sports games! Finally, Wario. He likes money and food just like me! That’s all.
Music: 9
Some of it is old, some of it is new. Why is it rated 9 anyway you ask? Well, I just like it. Jimmy’s music is funky and cool! The music would make you just want to hum all day long!
Size: 10
Wow! This game has over 200 microgames! If you’re bored with them, you can always play the full games. Unfortunately, you’ll have to earn them.
Difficulty: 5
It gets harder along the way, but you’ll get used to this game. I got stuck on three boss levels but I managed to complete them.
Graphics: 10
The graphics are always good in Gameboy Advance games (duh). However, some of the microgames that are based on old Nintendo games have rubbish graphics, but I don’t care! You might…
And finally…
Fun Factor!: 10
I love this game! I mean, 200 microgames?! That’s a lot! The pick your nose microgame made me laugh my head off. This Mario Party-like game is a must have for Wario fans!
Recommendation:
If you’re a video game fanatic or a Wario fan like me, get this game, NOW. If you’re not quite sure, get a Gamecube Gameboy Advance link cable and the GameCube game Wario World and use the cable to download a demo of Wario Ware, Inc. Cool huh? You’ll have to get all the treasure in Wario World first, unfortunately. Of course, you can rent it (the Koopa cheating way).
