Hi. This is cyclone16. I'm doing a Review for Time Splitters 2, which I recently bought. I will rate the following catagories (graphics, sound, music, gameplay, multiplayer mode, and overall) 0-10, 0 being the lowest.
Type: Shooter
Rating: Teen
Graphics: 10-10
The graphics are just about the best, with great detail on the weapons, levels, charecters, sideshows, items, etc. Realistic players make it look like you're shooting a real person. Each person has unique clothes, facial expressions, and even era. From minor details to whole levels, Time Splitters 2 has perfect graphics.
Sound: 8-10
I give it an 8 because there were just sounds for everything. Each weapon has a unique sound, and the voices of the players are amazing. In fact, there are just too many sounds, so I gave it an 8.
Music: 9-10
The music is the bomb. Each level has different music, and it matches the era. The 9 is because it seemed to have only one song playing at a level, untill you fight somebody or something. It just stays the same. But it is really good music to play all night to.
Gameplay: 10-10
Shooting zombies, rescuing maidens at Notre Dame, fighting alien ships, stalking a computer information hacker, and killing pesky monkeys is the best way to describe it. There are tons of guns, people, special effects, and additional missions.
Multiplayer: 9-10
This is almost the main reason I bought it. With two brothers always playing it, multiplayer is a blast. 12 or so different stages, a dozen modes, adjusting almost all the settings, 100+ characters to pick from, and the co-op mode makes it a blast. I rated it a 9 because you have to go back a lot during the game to change the settings.
Overall: 9-10
From minor lacks in sound, music, and multiplayer, I rate it a 9 because I don't want to make the game better than all the rest out there. That would be bragging. But this game is something to brag about.
