I’m back to review again! MWAHAHAHAHA, err, yeah, so this week I decided to review one of my favorite party games, Super Monkey Ball 2! It will be on a 1-5 scale, 5 being best, and here we go…

Um… Sorry about that!
Game: Super Monkey Ball 2
Platform: Gamecube
Rated: E for Everyone
Graphics: 3
With 3-dimensional effects, this isn’t the “best”. It has poor landscape, just a checkered path with a background picture. Nothing surprising for a GameCube game, well, that’s what got it a 1. The other two points go for how they made the Party games look, well, real…
Sound: 1
Eh, Only the world’s most annoying music, and to make matters worse, every five seconds a monkey screams in your ear! That or maybe it was from the fact I was playing at Lava Lava Island…
Modes:
Main Game: 2
All you have to do is get through a goal banner in less than a minute; the goal is about five seconds away, too. You have different levels, each holding ten stages, each stage holding an obstacle (or none) that tries to keep you from getting to the goal banner. It gets a little too boring if you ask me. Just roll the ball to move and keep on pressing A to stop.
Party Games: 5
Couldn’t be any better. Here is what
you can do at first…
Monkey Race: You got racing, where you move the ball with the control stick and press A to stop or go faster (if you're already moving fast) or to use an item.
Monkey Fight: All you have to do is punch the monkeys off the floating island. You move with the control stick, and press A to punch.
Monkey Target: You roll off a ramp, press A when off the ramp (to fly), and then it’s like darts. You move the control stick up to go down and down to go up. Then when you are above the target, press A, run around your house three times yelling “I’m a maniac”, and then you see your score. Well, the running and yelling just make it more fun.
Monkey Billiards: Just a game of pool, hit the ball full of bananas after knocking the rest of the balls in the holes to win. Select your angle by moving, press A to set up your power, than press A again to hit the ball.
Monkey Golf: Get your golf ball in the hole. The funny thing is that you’re inside your golf ball, and your hands use psychic energy to hit the ball. Just like Mario Golf, set your range, press A, B, or both to set your length and height, and press A, B, or both to hit the ball.
The rest are unlockables and I’m too tired to explain them, so, onward! *yawn*
Camera: 3
Some camera views are strange, others are pretty good, you pretty much control the camera.
Difficulty: 4
In Main Mode, it’s all easy until you get to level 3, then it gets impossible at level 4. As for Multiplayer, you choose your own difficulty.
Story: 2
The story is so dull, I practically forgot about it! A professor steals bananas and four monkeys who chant words that mean absolutely nothing try to get the bananas back. Pathetic, huh…
Replayability: 3
Like I said, it’s a good party game, but you'd better leave Main Mode alone, unless you WANT to get seriously frustrated.
Overall: 3
Good to get it for parties, and only for parties! This game is an okay one, and at least rent it for your parties, otherwise, you’ll have no fun with it. Okay, that’s all for… snore… my… Review… SNORE ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
