Luigi's Mansion Review

By Bigbadblake14

Hey, this is Bigbadblake14. I'm just gonna review Luigi's Mansion real quick to see if you would like to buy this game for GameCube.

Story: 4/10

Well... it's not very much. Luigi wins a mansion and finds out it's really a hidden mansion full of ghostsm and Mario gets kidnapped by King Boo. It's not very interesting. This could have been a lot better.

Controls: 7/10

The controls are just fine. Move your vacoom with the C Stick, move with the Control Stick, and hold R to vacuum. Now I don't know about you, but that's PRETTY simple to me. Then again there's also press A to open doors and hold L to use your chemical element.

Difficulty: 3/10

This is what messed up the game tremendously. It's not the LEAST bit hard. Wow, you get to suck up a bunch of BIG ghosts that have 100 HP, which isn't too hard. Even King Boo with 500 HP wasn't hard, and he was the last boss of the game. I think it would've been better if the boss ghosts went up on HP gradually, and King Boo had 1000 HP.

Replayability: 8/10

This is probably one of the best parts of the game. You will find yourself (even though it's very easy) wanting to play this game every day. It's just fun to find out new secrets and suck up new ghosts for your amazing gallery.

Graphics: 10/10

The absolute BEST part of the game. It's just amazing how Luigi opens doors: it shows his hand shaking and then he TURNS the keys in locked doors. It's just great. He looks more real then EVER. Everything does. Great job, Nintendo, on Luigi's Mansion's graphics.

Sound/Music: 1/10

Well... uh, the hallway music was kinda cool. Ok, the main problem with this is THERE WAS NO MUSIC EXCEPT THE HALLWAY. But of course we couldn't forget the boss intro theme.

Gameplay: 9/10

Great. I love how you get to suck up boss ghosts and enemy ghosts and use elements. The elements are fire, ice, and water. Fire is used for burning, ice for freezing, and water for putting out fires. You also get to collect money, get golden picture frames, and unlock this so-called HIDDEN mansion. That's just the same as the regular mansion except with a handicap.

Overall: 7/10

It was a good game, but it could have been better. A LOT better. If you don't have this I would suggest that you only pay $30 at the MAXIMUM. Well there's my Review for Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube.
