Paper Mario Review

By Dark Knight

Rated: Everyone (Mild Comic Violence)

Graphics: 9/10

Nintendo did a nice job of combining two-dimensional characters (aka paper-style) into a three-
dimensional world. This is a unique feature.

Sound: 9/10

Paper Mario has really good sound effects. You'll really think that real Bob-ombs are just outside your door!
Also, the music was good, but it really shined in boss battles. Many boss battle songs will stay stuck in your head.

Controls: 7/10

Out-of-battle commands are extremely simple. Press A to jump, and A again to do a ground pound if you have the right boots. Press B to use your Hammer. Press C-Down to use your partner's special ability. However, in battles, you get to use Action Commands. Some are extremely easy to pull off, while some take require
careful timing.

Variety: 10/10

This game has so many items and abilities it would probably take two or three castles to hold them all! You get three different hammers, three different pairs of boots, and eight party members who can hold up to four abilities each. There is lots more, but I'm not going to spoil it for you.

Replayability: 10/10

With tons of badges, items, Star Pieces, and abilities, and an unforgettable storyline, this is the kind of game you will want to pick up and play for years and years!

Recommendation: BUY! YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TURN DOWN THIS STUNNING GAME!
