I will rate this on a 1-4 star scale. So nyah.

Controls: ***

Nothing really new here, and I like that. The controls are basic, therefore not making you have to fling your fingers around like a madman. However, the reason this didn't get four stars is because the whole routine gets boring after a while. "Press A as fast as you can." The usual.

Graphics: *** 1/2

What can I say? They were pretty good. I especially like the shadowing on the charactars. I don't know why, but that is really cool! Another thing is that it is cute when the charactars are doing that spinny thing to get to the Superstar thing, especially Luigi, who looked like a kid at a birthday party. However, the blue background behindon the Superstar thing looked, well, bland. I don't know why, but I hate it. Also, the spotlights look like paper. Translucent paper.

Characters: ****

Oh my gosh, it was awesome! Like about everyone here, I didn't like the fact that there was a lack of REAL Koopalings, but one of my best friends is a HUGE Toadette fan, and I kind of think she's cool too! Also, Nintendo put in the effort to give each charactar a taunt... COOL! I mean, they fit the charactars so well! I haven't bought very many yet, but the three taunts I have go well with the character, except for maybe Luigis, where he sneezes and says "Sorry," but I mean, Toad, he has a cute voice, and he says, " Boo!" It's really cute! And it's not like ha- I-scared you- boo, it's like boo, this is really bad, or you stink! And Daisy's, well, hehe. We all know how competitive Daisy can get, so it wasn't too much of a shock when she says, "You know I'll win!" But yes, I loved the charactar lineup, and each different taunt I've seen.

Here are some important characters and how I feel about them in this game.

Brighton: *
He is annoying. Nothing much to say.
Twila: ***
She is cool! She adds a risk factor to how you get your Stars. I think she is really neat.
Mario: 1/2
This gluttonous moron is an idiot, and I hate him. The 1/2 is because he isn't Peach.
Luigi: ****
Luigi ROCKS out loud! In the instruction book, Luigi is snowboarding; what a cool picture of him! And besides, he likes Daisy.
Peach: no stars
Apart from the fact that she stole Daisy's birthright kingdom, she looks like my cat's backside.
Yoshi: ***
Yoshi is really cute and sweet, but he is also a bit TOO cute. After a certain mark of cuteness, it kind of loses it's touch. That's what happened to Yoshi.
Wario: **
Wario is an obese moron, but at least he is strong, and also funny!
Daisy: ******************************************************
Daisy is the coolest charactar ever! She gets a little bit dirty, aw, who cares? She is tough, and knows where her mind is going. If you want the best charactar in the game, choose Daisy!
Waluigi: *
The only reason he gets a star is because his name sounds like Luigi's.
Toad: ***
He hates Peach, there's a start!
Boo: ****
Cute!
Toadette: ***
Also cute.

Sound: ** 1/2

I guess it was all right, but the biggest thing was the whole Castaway Bay thing. Blek. I hated it. It was SOOOOO annoying. Nintendo, I hated it. I hope you did too. But I loved the little thing at the end of Duel Mountain, when you win, OH MY GOSH! Call me a dork, but I'll get up and start DANCING! It is that catchy! And I'm usually very picky on music. Another thing I didn't like was the Snowflake Lake theme. It was just too annoying. Yet ANOTHER thing I disliked was when it's your turn, you hear this doorbell thing. I can't stand it. So bacically the 2.5 comes from the Duel Mountain ending.

Boards: *

Yes, one. I liked Towering Treetop and Faire Square. That's it. And the ONLY reasoin I liked Towering Treetop was because of the way you find the Stars. But I mean, E. Gadd's was only metal, Snowflake Lake had no variety in it, Castaway Bay was just plain annoying, and Clockwork Castle costs 100 freaking Stars!  Nintendo really lay an egg on the boards.

Mini-Games: ***

They were the same as usual, but it gets boring. I mean, press A as fast as you can to bring the carrot up. Yawn. But i guess they're ok.

Fun: ****

This game is really fun! I mean REALLY fun. I play it all the time, and I never tire of it! Well, I guess I just answered replayability too.

Overall: *** 1/2

This game is great. Buy it. Out of all the Mario Parties I've played, this ties for first with MP2. It's not as good as Power Tennis, but REALLY close!
