Music: 9 1/2
The music is great! So many old themes. Including Mario 3 Grass Land when you go up a level, the beginning of Mini Fortress at Koopa Bros.' Fortress, and many others.
Enemies: 8
So many old returning enemies, from Goomba to Koopa and Fuzzy to Lakitu. Even flying enemies. I was also impressed by the bosses. One of 'em reminded me of the old fireball spitting Pirhana Plants. The reason this score wasn't any higher was because the Koopalings weren't in it and there was an ideal part for them. Bit of a shame. Though, I was interested in learning Kamek had a small part in the game near the beginning and end. He's not to hard to spot, he's the only male Magikoopa that talks during the game!
Graphics: 9
Ah, these graphics remind me of the old game, Super Mario Bros. 3. Done in a world with the background 3D with fun 2D paper-like characters (hence the name!). Bowser reminds me of old-style Bowser too.
Difficulty: 10
I like hard games. And this game can leave you clueless in a lot of places. But I am not telling what those places are!
Levels: 10
Ohhh, I'm on a role! These levels might remind you of the Mario 3 levels. But one thing I liked (I can't remember the game this is in though) is that Lavalava Island returns!
Ending: 7
Pretty neat ending. Showed many funny things. If you're one of the dudes that turns the game off when you're done, don't. You might be surprised.
And finally, Fun Factor!: 10
While it's pretty hard at first, sometimes you can't turn it off. And most times you can't if you're in a battle with a boss, which might put you in trouble. But don't worry.
Basically I highly
recommend this fun RPG. Not as good as a DBZ game or as boring as Mario
Kart or as easy like Yoshi's Story. Somewhere in between.
