I'll be rating the latest made Paper Mario game and will mark each section out of 5.
Story: 4
This is unusual, Peach goes to a land called Rogueport after receiving a chest from a merchant. Inside is apparently a map to a treasure so Peach sends a message to Mario telling to come out. She puts the map with the letter so he MUST COME. Mario gets there and guess what? She's gone missing. Now Mario must go through the land and find her.
Controls: 5
Everything is easy to use and no control should pose as a problem to anyone.
Characters: 5
Yes, another perfect score. There is the normal gang, seven new partners, a group of witches, and the X-Nauts. So this is deserving of a high score.
Items: 4
There are a ton of new items that help you in healing, damaging, or protecting.
Places: 5
Yes, lots of places that vary from snow to cities to forests to the moon. This is deserving of a high score.
Bosses: 5
Lots of bosses. There is Hooktail, Smorg, Cortez, and more. Plus it also has lot' of mini-bosses as well. Now more bosses have defense levels and higher attack and HP. They have more attacks as well.
Journal: 5
This has a lot of sections including a section for the tattled on enemies and badges collected and recipes made. This does get a good mark.
Gameplay: 3
It is a medium length game so it doesn't get that high a mark. The higher part of the mark is because it's humorous and has lots of obstacles.
Recommendation: 5
This is a terrific game and I recommend everyone gets it. This is good enough to buy even if you don't own the first.
