Drawn to Life Review

Platform: DS
Genre: Platformer
ESRB: E
Price: Around $30

Drawn to Life is an awesome game for the DS, not only because you can customize a lot of things but because the story is really good too. And the Raposa people are cute ^_^

Story: 9/10
The story isn't very strong at the beggining, but gets better and better until the end. The only bad thing about it was the little things that you have to do after finishing a level, because only some of the Raposa are important to the story. I really liked the crazy guy, he was funny.

Q: What in the world is a Raposa?!
A: The cute creatures you save from cages in the game. You can see them in the village.

Music: 15/10
Awesome. Great. Incredible. The music really made this game for me. Awesome for the main bad guy's theme, awesome for bosses, really sad at the dramatic parts, really ******** sad  at the end. I gave this an extra 5 points at the end for the option to buy some songs and hear them whenever you want. The music... made me cry.

Sound: 8/10
I know that sound should be put in with music... but I think music really deserved its own spot for this game. The sounds are pretty average. Jump, shoot snowballs/acorns/starfish, little hurt sound from the baddies. Sound would've been a 7/10 but I really liked the cute little Rapo girl saying "Wapo!"

Gameplay: 7/10
This is also average. When you're actually playing the levels it's not as good as the parts where you go around the village and do certain missions to progress through the story. Also I didn't like the ground bounce that much. And I don't know why they couldn't just call it a ground pound.

Fun Factor!: 9/10
You get to customize a lot of stuff, so that gets 8 points. The little missions in the village and the black shadow slime you clean up (by rubbing the stylus on it) during the levels gets another point. This game was really fun and it was sort of long but not too short (yeah, I'm confused too).

Overall: 10/10
This is my favorite game now. Before my favorite game was Rayman 3 for GCN (which was cool). This game has a really good story and awesome music. The ending was so ********* sad though... It was the first game to make me cry. It was really sad and cute. I recommend this game to anyone with a DS. Even people who can beat DS games in like 2 days should be able to like this game.

I can't really think of anything bad about this game. I did complain a little about some of the things above, but those aren't really that bad. To me this game was perfect.... I just don't want to see the ending again... Too sad for me. The last 10 seonds of the ending is where it got really sad and made me cry.

You can unpause that Youtube video now, thanks for reading.
