About the game: Super Mario Galaxy is the most recent Mario game on the Nintendo Wii. It came out as a sequel to Super Mario Sunshine, which came out as a sequel to Super Mario 64. Surprise, surprise.
Story: 8/10
This game has
a great story. Mario is invited to a festival. Bowser crashes it and kidnaps
Peach, and Mario goes flying into outer space. I do feel something is lacking,
though. I guess it is probably that it was too short as a story. Oh well.
Graphics: 9/10
I can tell that
there are many detailed drawings in this game. But then, some say Mario
Galaxy has better graphics than Twilight Princess. I do not agree with
this. Since Mario Galaxy has CARTOONISH graphics, don't you think that
Twilight Princess has better graphics? After all, it is less cartoon-looking.
Controls: 10/10
Very good, very
similar to Twilight Princess' controls. The spin attack seems similar to
Link's sword swing. It was a smart idea to use a partner to collect stuff
like Star Bits.
Music:
Ok now IT WAS
WRONG TO PUT IN ORCHESTRATED MUSIC, in my opinion. I mean, how could they
ruin the original songs of Mario like that? That's cruel!
Difficulty: 7/10
It is too easy
in the beginning, and it sort of stays like that. I guess that's why there's
a bunch of Super Mario Galaxy players guides just sitting there in the
local GameStop. But then the game can get hard.
Fun Factor!: 8.5/10
This game is
pretty awsome and you sure do want to play it again. But it can get boring
watching the cinematic seqences over and over again until you want to POP.
Yeah, sometimes it can get that boring, especially since you can't skip
over anything. I guess that's a good time for a snack break or something
like that. Oh yeah, here is a secret. You can beat the game with 60 Stars.
Overall: 8.9/10
As I said, this
game is pretty awesome, and if you have a Nintendo Wii, you should bribe
your parents to get it for you. And when you get it, you will not get disappointed.
