Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 Review

By Nintenbro0

Today I'm-a reviewing Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. It will be based on a 1 to 5 star scale. 1=bad. I include 0. Oh, I'm reviewing the DS version.

Players: 4 I think
Genre: Puzzle and action
Rating: E
System: DS
Price: $20

Okay, Rabbids (Rabbits) attack all these different places around the world. So you play minigames in each of the 6 countries to beat the game. After getting gold or completing a minigame, depending on what section you are in, you'll get clothes to dress your rabbit in.

Graphics: *****
The graphics were perfect. Crystal clear! They don’t ever annoy. I think they made this very welly, wel-ly weely, wellaly, I don't know! Well-ly will do for now. They made this very well-ly! *laugh*

Sound: ****
Okay, this would have been perfect but when you’re onthe screens in between minigames, a rabbit appears and screams randomly! "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" It really was annoying. There weren't voices, but the effects were very good! I really liked it when my rabbit ate a ton of peppers, then shot off into space. It goes something like this, "Ahnumghsmumghtruff... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Bwoooooooooooo sisssssssss" Then he floats around in space. It was weird but funny!

Length: *
This game was way too short! I beat it in three days! I would have liked it to have more than 36 minigames! I found this way too short! In other news, I decided to make this a new category!

Difficulty: ****
I hate hard games! I hate and quit playing then and there! (Like Super Mario Strikers.) This game was one of those “20 hours until you beat a level” games! But it still kept me hooked! I don't know how! But I kept playing (and enjoying) it! I think for some reason this game sits on the top of the line of too hard, just like Tetris DS. The only complaint on this is there is a game where you have to remember 15 different buttons in a certain pattern. This game also has an easier difficulty level, but to unlock all the clothes for your bunny you must play the hard levels too. That is why it is so frustrating.

Replayability: **
Meh! I wouldn't really want to play this again. I mean, sure, I'm probably gonna turn on my DS and randomly play it... but I just thought that I've beaten it and it was a little boring so I'm just done and don't really want to play it.

Characters: *
You have Rayman, a crowd, and 10,000 rabbits. I count the rabbits as 1. That’s 3 characters! All rabbits look mostly the same. I think they didn't put enough characters in this game. Besides that, the crowd and Rayman appear in the game only like 6 times and only stay for 30 seconds.

Controls: ****
I found the controls easy to remember and do. I don't know why... but I just feel it doesn't deserve 5 stars...

Levels: **
I really don't think this game really had levels. Just random minigames.

Items:
No items: No score.

Fun Factor!: ***
I had fun with this game until the hard levels. Overall the game was pretty fun. I just got frustrated often (it may have been because I beat regular so I went to hard). Now one really fun thing about this game is the minigames. These are very fun. They are a lot different then Wario's, and though there is a shortage of them I had fun with them. For example there is a game where you shoot spitballs at a teacher. Then when the teacher looks around you have to point to the other students and the teacher will whack them with a ruler! Or you pick up a rabbit in a wrestling costume and fling him as far as you can! Or you can even work at a fast food service taking orders!

Recommendation:
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Mostly this entire game you just play minigames trying to get clothes. It wasn't very exciting, so... I did have some fun with this game though. Okay $25 or over: no buy; $24-20: maybe; and $19 or under: you should buy it. This game was too small. Buy WarioWare Touched over this. Overall this game got a 26/55. Not even half. So this game doesn't even come close to being as good as Sunshine, Galaxy, World 1 (Super Mario World 1), Bros. 3, PM2, and Paper Mario.
