A silver-colored Yoshi walks up to the camera. "Hi! I'm Zoshi! This is my third Review, and my first Wii game Review. Yes, the almighty Zosh-“ A Boo noise is heard in the background. “As I was saying... The almighty Zoshi finally got a Wii!!! BWAHAHAHA!!! Today I will review Super Mario Galaxy, or just SMG. I will rate on a star scale of 1-5, as 1-10 got really complicated. Let's-a go!"

System: Wii
Rated: E “For Everyone”
NEW!
No. Of Players: 2 Si

Story: *****
I absolutely love the story. I was going to take off 1 Star because, well, get 120 Stars… I'm not going to spoil it here. Anyway, the story is almost the exact same stuff. That 120 Star rumor, I thought it wasn't true, and I took a ton of time getting all the Stars, I'm getting a walkthrough to beat it the second time... I hope IGN has some.

Okay, this is getting off topic. It begins pretty much like Super Mario 64: Peach invites Mario to the castle to give him something. But wait!!! Bowser comes along and ruins the party! He somehow lifts the castle up, and wants to take Peach to the Center of the Universe, where he is going to make a new galaxy. Why? Play the game to find out! After this happens, Mario boards the hunk of earth that got ripped out, but Kamek disposes of him. He then lands in a planet, where you have to catch some bunnies, and then the real story begins.

Graphics: *****
Great! Another 5-star Rank! Mario, Luigi, Toads, and even the hunks of asteroids look really good! Lots of the enemies in the 1st galaxy (Good Egg) look like Octoroks fused with Deku Shrubs from the Legend of Zelda games.

Anyway, the cutscenes are just completely great, and have you ever seen the commercial when Mario blasts out of the volcano? That's actually a part of the game, my favorite part actually.

Music and Sound: ****
Sorry that I took one star off. You'll see why. All the music and sound in the game is completely great, and when you get a Star Bit, you can hear it on the WiiMote speaker. But again the 1st galaxy's (Good Egg) music, is how do I put it nicely, a cheap ripoff of The Legend of Zelda games music. The music was so bad that it affected this whole section’s score. Be afraid, be very afraid, of the 1st galaxy's music, of course.

Levels: *****
Yep, the levels are great, just awesome. Yes they are. Every normal galaxy has 6 Stars, and overworld galaxies have 1 Star. Normal galaxies have 3 stars that you get by normal means, nothing strange whatsoever. Every normal galaxy also has a total of 3 secret and comet stars. Secret stars are as you’d expect, you get them through strange means. Once you get about 14 Stars, comets will appear. They alter the gameplay depending on what comet it is. The comets will be explained in the Gameplay section. 3 of the 120 Stars are green, once you collect all 3 you'll be able to access the Planet of Trials. You should be really experienced before taking these on.

Gameplay: *****
This game just gets better and better! 4/5 5-starred sections! This game is great! There are 2 subsections here.

A. Comets:
There are 4 comets available after you get 14 Stars, and they always appear in random places. Talk about annoying.
Comet 1: DareDevil Comet - When this comet orbits a galaxy, you only have 1 Hit Point (HP) to beat the ENTIRE level, with no coins or extra HP givers.
Comet 2: Cosmic Comet - Here you have to race a "Shadow Mario" to the end of the level. To earn the Star, you have to claim victory.
Comet 3: Fast Foes Comets - Well the name says it all, the foes are faster.
Comet 4: Speedy Comet - You have a time limit to get to the end of the level. Hurry up and skeedaddle!!!
Comet 5: ????? Comet - ????? isn't the name, I just don't want to spoil it. Here you have to get a certain amount of coins scattered throughout the level. This comet is unlocked after you beat a level that is unlocked after you beat the game with 60 Stars.

B. Mario/????? Transformations
There are various items in this game. Some transform you. These will be explained here.
1. Rainbow Star - This is like the Starman, and a cooler remixed version of the invincibility melody is played. You also run twice as fast and jump a bit farther. Oh, and you’re invincible.
2. Bee Mushroom - This turns you into a bee. Weird, right? Well... Yes, very. You can fly for a limited time, but the downside is, no more long jumps, backflips, or somersaults. The power is lost once you touch water or if you die.
3. Boo Mushroom - This turns you into a Boo with a hat and a mustache. This is even weirder than the last one. This power allows you to float in the air and float higher by repeatedly pressing the A button. You can also shake the Wiimote to turn invisible. This power is lost if you touch light.
4. Spring Mushroom - Slinky wannabe time. You seriously look like a slinky, and if you press A at the right moment you'll spring sky-high! This power is lost in water.
5. Fire Flower - Ah... The classic Flaminitus Herbus, or the "Fire Flower", will turn you into Fire Mario. When you shake the WiiMote you shoot fireballs instead of spin. This runs out over time, maybe in water too, who knows?
6. Ice Flower - Ah... The classic ExtremusColdus Herbus or the "Ice Flower"... Wait... CLASSIC?! Where'd this come from? Oh well, you can walk on water, and skate on it! Everything else is the same. Runs out over time, maybe in lava too, who knows?
7. Tweester - It technically isn't an item, but if you touch a Tweester and shake the WiiMote you'll turn into Tweester Mario/?????. This power runs out when you hit land.
8. Red Star - In the Observatory when you beat a certain level, the Red Star will appear. Spin while in the air to fly.

Controls: *****
The controls are easy to memorize, and not hard at all to execute. It's actually really simple once you get used to Wiimote/Nunchuk combo.

A - Jump
B - Shoot Star Bits
Analogue Stick - Move, climb, swing, swim, kick (stunned enemies only)
C - N/A
Z - Crouch
- or + - Pause Screen
1 or 2 - N/A
D-Pad - N/A
Wiimote Specials:
Shake - Spin, swim faster, fly faster, pick up shells and some Boos, throw, spin Boos, skate, throw fireballs, and activate Launch Stars

Note: Almost every button can combo with other buttons for cooler actions. Ex:
Run + Crouch + Jump = Long Jump
Crouch + Jump = Backflip

Difficulty: *****
This game is great for all ages, there are easy challenges, and some that are not so easy. If you’re a beginner you'll be happy to get 60 Stars and beat the game. But if you’re an expert like m- *Boo noise heard in background* As I was saying, if you’re an expert like me, you can try and go for all 120 Stars for something special...

Replayabillity: ****
So far this is the best game I've ever played (except for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which I will not review since probably everyone with a Wii has it). It has almost all 5 star ranks. Anyway, the game is fun the 1st time you play as Mario. If you get 120 Stars you can beat it again with a different character, but it's boring getting all the Stars again. That's why this is a 4-starred section... Sorry SMG fans.

Fun Factor!: *****
As I said before, this game is really fun and worth buying. It's pretty much irresistible. But sadly, as I also said before... it's not worth getting all the Stars a 2nd time... But I can't punish 2 categories for the same mistake, so here it is, another 5-star for you SMG fans.

Overall: *****
YEAH!!! AN (almost) PERFECT 5!!! This game is great! If you don't have it, go buy it now, fool! If you’re not going to... then all I have to say is that you have *cough* not so *cough* great taste in videogames. Buy buy, I mean, bye bye, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
