ESRB: T(13+)
Players: 1 - 4
Game Type: Fighting
I'm gonna rate this game from 1 to 100.
Graphics: 100
Hey, maybe I'm adjusting but from Mario's stitches in his clothing to Bowser's scales this is just eye candy. Some of the levels are pixelated; that'll help bring nostalgia and flashbacks
Sound: 90
Well although some sounds are good I'm dissapointed on some of the characters' sounds (that means Mewtwo and Ganondorf). I'd expected some better sounds than grunts and shouts. But when you get shrinked by a Poison Mushroom the voices get funny.
Music: 100
The music here is just remixes of old games, but it's kind of cool and like some of the levels that offer pixelated images it may give nostalgia and flashbacks (veteran players beware).
Characters: 75
Well this can be improved, either by adding more characters or changing some characters.
Mini-Games: 35
Sorry, it's just that doing a Homerun contest was not my favorite thing to do and breaking targets was as not fun as breaking bones ~_^
Secrets:100
That's where SSBM excels. You get 11 secret characters, 14 secret levels, 2 Pokemon (not including the characters), 290 trophies, a whole new mode, 2 new options, Sound Test, etc. Some are simple to get while some take brain wracking.
Fun Factor!: 95
Although you can get three of your buddies and make them bow to your fist it's the computer that's the problem. Even if the computer is set at Level1 if it sees six Pokeballs it'll go on a bloody rampage. The computer is set on having favorite items, like if there's a Beam Sword at his feet and a Pokeball 500 feet from it it'll go for the Pokeball, but it's still good fun.
Recommendation: Although the Mini-Games
are not impressive I hope that won't stop you from buying this game.
