Wendy makes me think of the article I wrote on Big Bertha. She's nothing to laugh at...I bet that would make her Scream attack stronger.
Putting Wendy in play automatically puts your opponent in a spot, since Wendy can cause a lot of damage when injured, even though she can only do 30 to start. If your opponent doesn't attack Wendy then she is free to attack unobstructed, and if they do attack then Wendy will likely make some swift kills. Harsh!
You can look at the Big Bertha article if you want tips on how to control Wendy's HP, but now I will move on to her other attack, Flood. First of all, it only works if your opponent owns more than one land, and has a land not adjacent to their others. To facilitate this situation, have your army divide and conquer; split your opponent's territories by knocking them out in the middle. If your opponent has a lone land, Wendy can use Flood on it to move away all but one enemy Minion. Wendy can beat a lot of Minions in a one-on-one fight, so you can use Flood, then Scream to take over a land.
Though Wendy may be obnoxious, she is also very strong. There are a bunch of decent Water-type Minions, so you could build a good Water deck around Wendy. Good luck!
