I don’t like Tutankoopa, but I have to do an article on him because he’s a Promo card. Well, he does make for a very nice link-up between the Lightning and Fire Minions, since he can call a Chain Chomp into play and cause some damage in the process, a very true-to-the-real-thing move. If you like Fire and Lightning and can’t choose between them, take Tutankoopa, Chain Chomp, and maybe the Czar.
Now, he has this other attack too. Wow, 70 damage for only three Energies?! Oh, wait, there’s a drawback. Aw, he has to flip a coin and if he gets tails he only hurts himself worth 20 damage. Aw, and he only has 60 HP? What a shame. BUT, if you can keep Tutankoopa alive, this is a really potent attack. Now, suppose you carried some Mushrooms to cure him of his self-inflicted wounds? OR, a Parapet would help limit the damage he causes himself. OR, and I really like this one, Barricade would protect him from all damage for two rounds. That means, even if he misses, he won’t hurt himself AND the opponent can’t use the miss to attack back. Hm, not bad.
You’ll need a lot of Energy in this Tutankoopa deck so he can get ready to go fast and start calling out Chain Chomps (who themselves will need Energy if you want to use them). Although, you could just stick one or two Tutans in your deck and have them call out 20 or so Chain Chomps to create a damaging swarm deck that can do without Lightning energy. Put in the right Spells and you could have a winner.
