Are you feeling lucky today? Then the Lucky Lamp might be for you! Actually, it’s a decent card even if you aren’t feeling lucky. Many times during the course of a battle a player will wonder what cards they have coming up. Ya know, because if that evolved form or that last Energy is coming then they’d better start preparing their unevolved Minion or their Spells. Lucky Lamp allows you to see what is coming. This may not sound like much, but you’d be surprised what knowing a bit of the future can do.

Lucky Lamp gives you a bit of an option too. If you don’t like what you see, as in that evolved form or last Energy isn’t in there, you can shuffle your deck and hope for something better. This is the lucky part of the Lamp. After you shuffle you will no longer know what is in store for you, but you have a good chance at that card now being near the top, and you could always use another Lucky Lamp and look again. When you like what you see, how about a Supply Line to pull in those cards you like so much?

I never liked Lucky Lamp back in Mario Party 3, but since there’s no Magic Lamp this is probably the next best thing. Hm, and somehow this card seems special to me. Maybe because you can get the cards you want?
