TEN HUT! BLECK! Here is where your mighty
General shows you exactly how to take down those Super Mario 64 DS bosses.

Big Bob-omb (1) - Bob-omb Battlefield
This is a pretty easy fight. After
Big Bob-omb finishes talking, he will start walking towards you. If he
catches up to you he will grab and throw you in a random direction. This
won’t hurt you, but you might fall off the mountain. To beat him with Mario,
Luigi, or Wario, simply run around him and grab him from behind to pick
him up and throw him. Go through this process 3 times to win. With Yoshi,
when he throws a Bob-omb, eat it and spit it out at him. Do this 3 times
to beat him. Be careful, though: make sure that you don’t throw him off
the mountain, or he will just come flying back up without any damage. Also,
if you fall off or are thrown off the mountain, you will have to start
all over again.
Big Bob-omb (2) - Bob-omb Battlefield
Do the same thing that you did in the
first fight.
King Whomp – Whomp’s Fortress
When the battle starts he will walk
towards you quickly. Once he gets close enough he will try to face-plant
on top of you and crush you. Before he gets close enough, charge up a dash
(stand in one spot and hold the Y button), and once he jumps into the air,
run away before he hits the ground. King Whomp will then be face down on
the ground in front of you. Jump on his back and ground pound on top of
him. Get off quickly or, when he gets up, you might fall off the arena
and you will have to start all over again. Repeat this process 2 more times
to get a Power Star.
Goomboss – Mario’s Painting
When the fight starts, Goomboss will
bring in a row of Goombas. They will all begin chasing you around the arena.
Don’t fall into the middle or the smog will slowly hurt you. Run around
the arena until you are behind him. Lure one of the Goombas to you and
punch, kick, or spit the Goomba at Goomboss’ back. He will grow, turn,
and start chasing you again with more Goombas than before. Repeat the process
2 more times to get the key to Mario’s room.
Big Boo – Luigi’s Painting
Big Boo will probably start the fight
by turning invisible, but you will still be able to see his shadow and
his reflection in the back mirror. He may occasionally transport to another
area in the room, reappear, and get rid of his reflection. If you don’t
do anything he will keep switching and spit flames that will follow you.
Like all Boos, he will freeze and disappear if you look at his face. Basically
just attack him 3 times for the key to Luigi’s room.
Bowser (1) – Bowser in the Dark World
Once you start the fight with Bowser
he will start slowly walking towards you. After about five steps he will
attack in one of two ways depending on how far away you are. If you are
far away he will jump and land hard, making a shockwave that will stun
you if you aren’t in the air when he lands. If you are close he will blow
flames that might turn into hats (only if you are Yoshi) or coins. To beat
him run around him and grab his tail, then start quickly moving in a circle
to spin him in the air and let go right when you are facing one of the
8 spiked mines around the arena. This will send Bowser flying towards the
mine. If he doesn’t make it all the way there, just grab, spin, and throw
him again. Don’t just throw him off the edge, either, or he will only come
flying back up. You only need to hurt him once to end the battle and win
the first key, which will let you open the locked door to the basement.
Eyerock – Shifting Sand Land
The duel starts when you step on top
of the flat brick structure in front of the dark gray box and the structure
turns into two hands with eyes. All you really have to do is keep punching
and kicking the eye that is currently open. Every time you hit an eye,
it will close and the other will open. But be careful, he has very powerful
attacks that do 3 damage points. His attacks include trying to crush you
with both fists and pushing you off the edge of the arena.
Bowser (2) – Bowser in the Fire Sea
This is pretty much the same as the
first battle with Bowser. The only differences are his attacks and that
the arena is smaller. This time he will start the battle by jumping up
high and landing so hard that the entire platform tips over and you will
have to run in the opposite direction to stay on. He may do this again
later if he stops moving and you are far away, or when he jumps back on
the platform after being thrown off. He will also run at you and, if you
are close, spit homing flames that might turn into hats or coins. Beat
him the same way you did the first time to win the second key, which unlocks
the door to the second floor.
Wiggler – Tiny-Huge Island
All you need to remember for this fight
is to jump on Wiggler’s head every time you get the chance. Don’t jump
on any of his other body parts or nothing will happen. He will start by
pretty much walking around randomly. But if you jump on his head, he will
start moving a slight bit faster and start following you. Jump on his head
again and he will get really mad, and will follow you much faster. Hit
him once more to win the Power Star.
Chief Chilly – Wario’s Painting
Chief Chilly is basically just a really
fast and strong Bully, and like all Bullies, you have to keep hitting him,
preferably with kicks, until he falls off the edge of the slippery platform.
Each time you hit him off, the arena will get smaller, and if he hits you,
you will slide farther backwards than when other Bullies hit you. Just
hit him off 3 times to get the key to Wario’s room. Be careful, though,
after you hit him off 2 times he will shake the platform when he jumps
back on, so try not to let yourself fall off.
Bowser (3) – Bowser in the Sky
This is the final battle. Only Mario
can be used in this fight. Bowser will have a much larger arena than last
time, but that doesn’t mean that this will be any easier. This time Bowser’s
attacks are much better. If you are close when he stops moving, he may
spit homing flames. He also might blow fire into the air that will then
fall to the ground, and if any of that fire is a dark green color it will
split into more flames that will start bouncing around. If you are far
away when he stops moving he will either run at you or he will jump and
land so hard that 2 shockwaves that can hurt you will be sent out all around
him. The 3 big issues with this battle are that there are only 5 mines
around the platform, you have to hurt Bowser 3 times to beat him, and the
arena will shrink into the shape of a star after you hurt him twice. My
only advice is to do the same thing as always to hurt him the first 2 times,
and once the platform is star-shaped, get Bowser on one of the tips of
the star before throwing him at a mine. That last explosion will knock
him down for the final time. That’s it! Enjoy the ending!
