Dr Mario Online Rx
- When you click on one of the Miis in Virus Buster mode, it will say various phrases such as "I may look like I'm nervous, but I'm not..." or give you statistics like "You've thrown over 30 capsules!" What they say depends on if they're tied with the Viruses, winning, losing, or have already won. Additionally, if you click on a Virus it will chuckle and grin towards the screen. Spotted by Sgt. Luigi's Mansion
- When you try to open a locked door without the key, the squeaking of the doorknob is to the tune of the Luigi's Mansion theme. Spotted by Sam.
- In the yard where Spooky is, look at the sign with the Gameboy Horror. When you look at it, it says, "A skeleton is buried here", but when you examine it, Luigi says it says, "Here lies Mr. Bones. QUIET!!!" I guess Luigi isn't that good at reading. Spotted by Sam.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
 - At Bowser's Castle in the room with all the ice, you can hammer the red wall switch to unfreeze and battle 3 Shroobs! They should have all been killed in Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time! Plus, once you beat them, there is still a frozen Jr. Shrooboid sitting at the back of the room! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- When you get to Bowser's Castle (Fawful's Theater) for the first time, enter the room with all the seats. Once there, you should see many people sitting in the seats. But at the bottom right of the room, there is a Shroob sitting in one of them! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In Bowser Castle, while fighting the 3 unfrozen Shroobs, look at the top screen. There are parts of Shroids, frozen Shroobs, frozen Jr. Shrooboids, frozen Shroobadivers, and even the frozen Elder Princess Shroob! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In Dimble Wood, Luigi ends up getting stuck in a Sockop and riding in it just like a Kuribo's Shoe from Super Mario Bros. 3! Plus, the name of one of the Sockops is even Kuribo! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In the front hall of Bowser Castle (Fawful Theater), there are statues of Fawful that look like he did during the last battle in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
- Go to the Shroom Shop in Peach's castle and look at the posters behind the counter. One has a picture of Prince Peasley, a character from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga! Spotted by Sam.
- When you go to Bowser's Castle and see Kamek, he'll mention Yoshi's Island by saying to Mario and Luigi, "Didn't I kidnap you guys once? Boy, THAT didn't work out well." Spotted by Sam.
- There are 4 cameos of the Nintendo DS in the game. The first is when E. Gadd takes out his "DS Time Radar" to find out where (or "when") Peach is, the second is when Mario and Luigi fight 3 Shroobs in Hollyjolly Village and one of the Shroobs talks into a DS to call a UFO, the third is when E. Gadd uses a DS to activate his Hydrogush for the first time, and the fourth is when he activates it at the end of the game. Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- Go to Little Fungi Town and play the game where you have to tilt a bar to feed wooden Piranhas, The announcer looks like Geno from Super Mario RPG! Spotted by Ultimate Yoshi.
- Go to Yoshi Theater and into the main lobby. There will be posters for movies called Kirby Story, the Legend of Stafy, Wario, and Mario and Luigi itself. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- Go to the S.S. Chuckola and play the minigame where you need to line up some barrels to win. The skeleton who tosses the barrels to you has a resemblance to Donkey Kong. To further prove my point, the minigame revolves around one of Donkey Kong's trademark elements, barrels. Spotted by Psycho Pebble.
- Before fighting Roy in Bowser's Castle, there's a certain part where Mario needs to travel through a 2D course that greatly resembles the old castle courses in Super Mario Bros. Tthere's even a "fake" Bowser, a bridge, and an axe at the end! Spotted by Psycho Pebble.
- If you defeat Popple before Birdo in your battle against the two, Birdo will say something along the lines of "How dare you attack my darling? No, matter, this is as far as you go!" This is a reference to SMB2, where Birdo commonly said "This is as far as you go!" Spotted by Shrugger Shroob.
- After getting your first hammers the Hammerhead Bros. say "Now you’re playing with power!" This is a reference to Nintendo's old slogan. Spotted by Froggidy.

Mario Kart: Double Dash
- On Luigi Circuit, you can see Luigi's A-Rank Mansion from Luigi's Mansion in the background. Spotted by Sam.
- In Mushroom City and Mushroom Bridge, there are a few interesting ads on the vehicles. Star Transit busses have 8-bit starmen on them, and Express trucks have pictures of P-Wings on the sides of them! But most interesting of all, the Super Chocolate trucks have 8-bit Mario, Koopas, and Goombas on them! Plus, their licence plate says "W1-1" - as in World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros! Mario Kart DS
- Mario says different things when you turn on the game depending on whether you’re playing on a DS or a DS Lite. Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- In Wario Stadium at one part of the race you can see Diddy Kong in the stands! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- When played on an original Nintendo DS, Mario says "Ya-hoo!" while on the DS Lite he says "Here we go!" Spotted by Mudkip.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- On Rainbow Road, look at the background for some parts of the track. You'll see Bowser's Castle with Peach's Castle on it from Paper Mario! Spotted by Sam.

Mario Kart Wii
- When racing on Daisy Circuit, if you're playing as your Mii, the faces on the statue will be different. Spotted by Joshua.
- All your Miis make an appearance in the crowd on Luigi Circuit. Spotted by Joshua.
- One of the tracks in the Special Cup is Dry Dry Ruins, an obvious reference to the dungeon in Paper Mario. Spotted by Joshua.
- Sometimes your Mii will appear on the message board before the first escalator in Coconut Mall. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- Your Mii may operate the tollbooths on the highway course. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- Your Mii may replace the snowboarder statue on DK's Summit. Spotted by crankymama5452.

- Rainbow Road is a huge Super Mario Galaxy reference. There are giant Star Bits floating in the sky, the guard rails have Launch Star patterns on them, a Launch Star launches you to one part of the course, and some parts of the music sound like the Good Egg Galaxy theme. Spotted by Sam.
- When you use the glitch to use the same character in 2-player mode, the 2nd player will decide which pose player 1 is in. For example, if the 2nd player makes Rosalina, use a motorcycle, and Player 1 wants a Kark, she'll be standing up in the kart. This is fixed when you start. Spotted by Bonz.
- After you finish a race on a course with Thwomps in it, if a Thwomp comes down right in front of you and stops your car, you will see Lakitu flattened on the floor when it lifts back up. Spotted by Leah Koopa.
- On Moonview Highway the licence plates on the passing trucks and cars read “POW”, “1UP”, and “SMB”. Spotted by Chaletica.
- When playing as your Mii, the Yoshi statues in Dry Dry Ruins will be replaced by your Miis. Spotted by Chaletica.
- Wario’s face on the billboard in Wario’s Gold Mine and Toad’s face in Toad’s Factory will be replaced by Miis. Spotted by Chaletica.

Mario Party 6
- In Snowflake Lake you can see the original Mario figure carved in a small chunk of ice in the north central area of the board by the huge Mr. Blizzard. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- On the mode select screen you can call out names like Goomba, Cheep Cheep, and Sky Guy to trigger a scene involving that character. Spotted by crankymama5452.

Mario Party 7
- In Pyramid Park you can find original Mario markings on the walls of the cliff behind the oasis. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- When playing the Ghost in the Hall minigame, you may find a few pictures on the walls. One of them shows Luigi covering his eyes in one of the bathrooms from Luigi's Mansion! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- While at an orb shop in Bowser's Enchanted Inferno, you can just barely see three "!" switches on a shelf on the back wall! It’s the red, yellow and green ones from Super Mario World! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Mario vs DK 2
- In the Construction Zone, if you use a Fire Flower on Mini Peach, you get Peach's colors from the original Super Mario Bros! Spotted by Queen Sunny.

New Super Mario Bros
- When you're fighting one of the bosses, the music in the background is a remix of the Mario 3 boss music. Spotted by Ryan "Blaze" Koopa.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Complete a level with 99 lives, the most you can have, and when Mario returns to the map he will have no hat.  You’ll continue to play with a hatless Mario until you exit a level with fewer than 99 lives.  Mario plays just the same as usual when he has no hat; there is no disadvantage like in Mario 64 and Sunshine.  This affects only the standard hat; Mario continues to look the same while wearing the Propeller or Penguin suits.
- After each world's final fight with the Koopalings, you get a key that looks just like the ones you get in Super Mario 64 after you beat Bowser! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- While on Yoshi, you can hear bongos in the backround music, just like in Super Mario World! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- All of Bowsers airships look like they did in Super Mario Galaxy! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In World 8, during your fight with Kamak, he uses his magic to turn the moving blocks into items and enemies, like in Yoshi's Island! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- During the credits, you can try breaking the blocks that make up the names to get coins. At the end, it shows how many coins the player with the most has and you might get a high score! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- After beating Bowser for the very first time in a file, Princess Peach says to Mario, "Did I ever tell you about the Secret World?", but if you beat him again, she says, "Oh Mario, tell me about your adventure again!" Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Paper Mario

- In the first page of Luigi's diary, he makes references to the Mario Tennis, Party, and Kart series. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- The music that plays in Yoshi Village is a remix of the Yoshi's Island title screen (after the game is beat). Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- When you get Fuzzipede out of the whale before Chapter 5, the whale says "They should call you Dr. Mario!" I don't need to explain this one. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- If you go to the intersection in Pleasant Path where you go left to Toad Town, down the steps to Koopa Village, or right to Koopa Bros. Fortress, there should be a plant with eyes that constantly looks at Mario. Run around it and the Wing Cap music from Super Mario 64 starts playing! Spotted by crazyhand97.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
- Whenever you receive an Email from Peach, the intro music from Super Mario World plays. When you get an Email from X (Jolene), the Ice Land map theme from Mario 3 plays, and the World Clear music from SMW plays when you get an Email from anyone else. Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- Go up in to the air duct in the X-Naut Fortress, and drop down the vent to the far right. When you come out from behind the curtain, Mario and his partner will be 8-bit! Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- Read the note the skeleton is holding in Hooktail's Castle. At the end, it'll say "My last words go to my son Kolorado; I love you and am proud of who you've become." A reference to the archeologist in Paper Mario. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- After you beat the game, go to Poshley Heights to see Lady Bow and Bootler on a little vacation. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- After you get the sixth Crystal Star, Yoshi will be in the kitchen on the train. Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- The Iron Adonis Twins, the two Iron Clefts you fight in the Glitz Pit, have red and green shoes, the colors of a certain pair of brothers. Spotted by Shy Ranger.
- While playing through the Glitz Pit chapter, eventually, you'll see a crowd of people cheering around Rawk Hawk in the lobby. You can hammer them away, and if you get rid of all of them, Rawk Hawk will get angry. Spotted by Shy Ranger.
- After you beat the Glitz Pit chapter and return, you can to go through the fights again. Once you fight Rawk Hawk a second time, one of the spectators will say "Jumpman". That's Mario's old Donkey Kong name. Spotted by Shy Ranger.
- When you get the Email from the real Zip Toad, enter that Email and go all the way down to the picture of Zip Toad. Look at the window. If you look closely, you can see Jr. Troopa from Paper Mario! Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- Look at Flurrie's hair. Notice how much it resembles Ludwig von Koopa's hair! Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- During Chapter 2, in the Great Tree, find the secret shop. Enter the shop and go behind the barrels to find a baby Jabbi. Your partner will say something, then choose something like "Aw Yeah", and the baby Jabbi will follow you for the rest of the chapter. Spotted by Erica Connery.
- In Chapter 5, when Bobbery is "dying", you have to find his bottle of Chuckola Cola and give it to him so he can have a last drink before he "dies". If you've played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, you will recognize Chuckoa Cola as the drink you have to find to turn Queen Bean back to normal. Spotted by Sam.

Super Mario Advance 4
- At the game select screen, keep switching between the 2 games and you will soon see Luigi on the Mario Bros. section and Mario holding a shell on the other section! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Super Mario Galaxy
- In the Buey Base galaxy there will be a sphere-shaped planet thing that looks like and has the color of a Pokeball! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- When you're racing the Boo, look at his helmet. It appears to be the helmet that the sidekicks wear in Super Mario Strikers Charged! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- Get a second player in 2-player co-op mode. Now go to any area, preferably with a lot of enemies. Now have the 2nd player hold down A and switch off paralyzing enemies repeatedly. Listen closely; the "ding-a-ling" sound that's made when the enemy is stunned changes pitch to go along with the music of the area. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- Go to the Space Junk Galaxy and go to the ship planet. Doesn't that ship look like the ship Captain Olimar and Louie used in Pikmin 2? Spotted by multiss guy.
- In the Space Junk Galaxy on the plant shaped like Yoshi's head, keep bouncing on Goombas. After the eighth Goomba dies, you will start getting consecutive 1-Ups, just like in the old Mario games! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- When playing as Luigi, move him right beside his twin. The Luigi that you are controlling is shorter and is wearing a lighter shade of green! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- The 5 Toads of the Toad Brigade are red, blue, green, purple and yellow, which means that they might be the same 5 Toads from Super Mario Sunshine! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In Rosalina's story, it says that she has a telescope. You can find it on a shelf just outside of her library! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- When you have a total of 9999 Star Bits in one file, all of the coconuts in that file's game will become watermelons! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- The star ship in Rosalina's story very closely resembles the star ship that was built for the Toads. This is probably how Rosalina and the Lumas got the idea for the design. Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- If you get all 120 Stars and beat the final boss, there will be a final cutscene of Rosalina thanking you after the credits. At the end of it you get to see a ship landed on the Gateway planet. - If you get 120 Stars with Mario AND Luigi, you can unlock a galaxy that is a copy of the Star Festival! Everyone is there! Toads, Penguins, Bees, and even Star Bunnies! Plus, the Mail Toad at the end gives you a photo for the Wii menu! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- In the mission Mario Meets Mario in Toy Time Galaxy, zoom in and look for a blue, strangely shaped planet. It resembles FLUDD. Spotted by Jacob.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
- When you get to the Game Over screen, don't do anything for about 2 and a half minutes. Eventually, you will hear the famous Totaka's Song from Mario Paint play. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- In a few levels in the game, mostly the Hippo Zone, Gordos, common enemies from the Kirby series, appear as enemies. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
- After sleeping in the Rose Town inn you can find Link from the Zelda series sleeping in the bed next to you. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- You can find Samus from Metroid sleeping in the guest room bed in the Mushroom Castle. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- In the top room of Booster's Tower you can find a Samus doll in the doll basket. Spotted by crankymama5452.
- In Booster's Tower there is a room where you can go behind a curtain and come out in the form of the original Mario. The music and sound will change to match the original game, too. This is ended when you try to leave the room. Mario will turn small and run back to the curtain while the sped up music plays until he returns to normal and the game over music plays. - The enemies called Guerilla and Chained Kong (found, respectively, in Forest Maze and Barrel Volcano) bare a resemblance to Donkey Kong. Spotted by Psycho Pebble.

Super Mario Sunshine
- This one is hard to do. Go to Noki Bay on the level where you collect red coins in that bottle. Enter the bottle and swim to the bottom, then swim over near the bottom to where there should be 2 or 3 holes. Enter the hole on the left and rotate your camera to try to look through the wall. There is a brown book sitting there, could it be Luigi's diary? (It is impossible to get out of the wall.) Spotted by Nintenbro0.
 - Go to Sirena Beach and walk around the hotel. Do you notice that the placement of pools and bars are in the same shapes and places as control pads and buttons on the GameCube controller? Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- At the beginning of the game when you see all the paint on the Airstrip, the paint is actually Mario's face with his eyes crossed out! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- On the Airstrip there is a flagpole. Climb up it and on the flag it says Nintendo Entertainment! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- Look at the cutscene where FLUDD scans Mario for the first time. While FLUDD is scanning Mario, look at the bottom-left corner to see three brief clips from Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, and Super Mario 64. Also notice that the SMW clip has Mario fighting with Iggy. Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- At the beginning of the game, when goop is still covering the Pianta Statue, talk to Princess Peach nearby and you'll get a birds-eye view of the goop. It seems to be spread out in the shape of a Jumping Piranha Plant from Super Mario World. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.

Super Mario World
- In the Special World, listen to the map music. After a little bit, the original Super Mario Bros. music will start playing! Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- At the end of Funky (the last level in the Special World) there is a huge message made out of coins. The message reads "YOU ARE A SUPER PLAYER!" Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- This is only in the PAL (European) version of Super Mario World. Complete and save all the 96 levels on each one of the three profiles. The number "96" will be blue if you have the PAL (European) version, otherwise three stars should appear beside them. Turn the Power off on the SNES and turn it on again. Do not press any buttons and wait for the demo to play. It should be different. Mario dies and you will be able to play the title screen level. This is a shorter version of the level "Groovy", with no exit gate. Spotted by theturokfanboy.

Super Paper Mario
- Go to Francis's secret rooms after entering the codes. Look through the rooms to find old items from other Mario games and a Wii, plus other systems. Ohhh, and don't forget to look at all the posters and everything! Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- Every time you beet a chapter your Pixls do a little dance. Doesn't that dance look like the dance Kirby does after he beats a level? Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- When you're about to fight Fracktail his eyes do the loading thing from the Wii Shop Channel. Spotted by Nintenbro0.
- Catch Cards of the previous Paper Mario partners can be found in the game. The Paper Mario partner cards can be found on every 10 sections of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. The Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door partner cards are a reward from King Sammer after completing the Duel of 100. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- When you hit the Star Block to end a chapter, the Crystal Stars briefly float around. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- If you go to Francis's left room, one of the things he is going to buy is "Larry Koopa: Zombie Heartbreaker", thus proving the Koopalings weren't forgotten! Spotted by ckday.

- When you have Piccolo as your Pixl partner, your jumps and Bowser's flame attack will sound the same as in Super Mario Bros. Spotted by Shy Ranger.
- The Pal Pills seems like an original item for the Marioverse, but actually in the Mario World episode "Rock TV", Peach and Yoshi hit a block that sends out several mini-Marios, very similar to what happens when you use Pal Pills! This is almost certainly a coincidence but the similarity is cool. Spotted by Blaze Koopa.
- In world 2-3, Mario must collect enough "Rubees" to pay for the vase he broke. The Rubees look a lot like the Rupees from the Legend of Zelda games! Sent in by MammaMia64.

Super Smash Bros. Melee
- When Kirby uses his down special move, one of the heavy objects he transforms into is a Thwomp from the Mario Party series. Spotted by Your Twin the Fourth.
- If Mario gets hit by Jigglypuff's Sing move, he will fall sleep in the same position he does in Super Mario 64 when you don't press any button! Spotted by Psycho Pebble.
- Mario and Luigi have alternate color swaps that resemble Wario and Waluigi's clothes! They also have one that resembles their clothes after getting a Fire Flower. Spotted by Psycho Pebble.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- If you do Mario's second taunt he'll reenact how he dies in Donkey Kong. Spotted by larry.
- If you smash one of the pillars on the Luigi's Mansion stage, a Boo will appear for a second. Spotted by Cornpie.
- If you do a taunt as Wario while riding the Wario Bike, he'll do a special taunt, waving at the camera then picking his nose. Spotted by Mudkip.
- If you hold up while riding the Wario Bike, you can do a wheelie. Spotted by Mudkip.
- When you jump on Bowser while he is in the air he will fall down like Morton or Roy from Super Mario World. Spotted by Superstarsaga.
- If you keep changing Wario's color he'll eventually be in his original clothes instead of his WarioWare outfit. Spotted by Larry.
- With Mario and Luigi, if you change clothes, you'll eventually get Fire Mario and Fire Luigi, just like they looked like in Super Mario Galaxy. Wario also has a "Fire" outfit, which is a white shirt and hat, and black overalls. Luigi has an outfit that resembles Waluigi. Peach has an outfit that resembles Daisy. Spotted by ParaBonz.

Wario Land II
- Most of the game's treasures are actually objects from completely different games! From the Super Mario series, there is a Yoshi egg and a Megavitamin. From the Legend of Zelda series, there is an ocarina, a map, a purple rupee, and a Pegasus Boot. There is also the bow and arrow from Kid Icarus, badges from Pokemon, and a Nintendo Gameboy! Yoshi's Story
- When you grab a Heart Fruit to turn invincible in each level after completing a mini-game, a letter will be spelt out in coins. If you put these letters together from the first to last stage, you will find the hidden message "YOU ARE YOSHI'S GREAT PARTNER". Spotted by Sgt. Fly.
- In the Torrential Maze level, there will be various names of Nintendo icons written on the walls, including Mario, Luigi, Zelda, and N64. Spotted by Sgt. Fly.

Other Games (Outside references to Mario)
Animal Crossing
- When you make a second, third, or fourth villager, when Rover goes to the back of the train to talk to Tom Nook, he says: "Its'a ME!!!" If you don't know who he's imitating, you can't call yourself a Mario fan. Spotted by Sam.

Animal Crossing City Folk
- There is a whole Mario room theme and Mario clothes and hats, along with Mario, Luigi, and Wario mustaches. Spotted by froggidy.

Assassin's Creed 2
- When Ezio first meets his uncle, he doesn't recognize him. In response, his uncle says "It's-a-me! Mario!" It should be noted his nationality is Italian. Sent in by WccPro94.

Back to the Future: The Game, Episode 1: It's About Time
- When young Edna asks Marty who he donates his time to, he quickly says "The, um...Mario Brothers." She replies "Ah, yes. The Italians do so many good works..." Spotted by Pichu.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
- During the opening cutscene, when Banjo, Kazooie, and Gruntilda meet the Lord of Games for the first time, Kazooie complains that they've been in several games, to which Lord of Games replies "Not nearly as many as that Italian gentleman." Sent in by Pichu.
- After unlocking the Terrarium of Terror level, you'll receive the Achievement "Super Banjo Universe", referencing Super Mario Galaxy. Spotted by Mudkip.
- In the "vehicle editor" trailer, an 8-bit Mario is shown on wheels, being destroyed by the vehicle created. The trailer later had this edited out. Spotted by Mudkip.
- In the guide's section on Mumbo's Motors, it says in the Paint Shop on a caption: "Nice pink ride, Banjo. Are you trying to impress a certain plumber's girlfriend?" Spotted by Shadow Matt.

Crash of the Titans
- The scientist rat enemies (I forgot what they're called) say this about Crash: "What does he think he is, an Italian Plumber or something?" Spotted by Sam.

Donkey Kong Country Returns
- Throughout world 3-1, you can see Donkey Kong's head, the way it looked in the original Donkey Kong game! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- At the end of world 3-1, you can see an 8-bit Donkey Kong holding up a Wii Remote! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- When you get to the first megaphone in world 7-1, you can see Mr. Game and Watch in the background! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- Billy Mitchell, the frequent Donkey Kong high score record holder, wears a U.S.A. tie, and in world 3-2, there is a stone carving of this tie in some of the ruins! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.
- Don't move the Wii Remote for about 30 seconds, and DK will start playing on a Nintendo DS! Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest
- After beating K. Rool, you are ranked by Cranky in something called "Cranky's Heroes" based on how many DK Coins you collected. Diddy Kong is ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but the other 2 characters being ranked are Mario and Yoshi! Found by GeneralBleck666.

DSI XL
- For the game system, on of the frames you can use for taking pictures are Mario's hat, nose, and mustache! Spotted by UltraLemmy.

Endless Ocean
- When suggesting a name for your first dolphin partner, Kathrine (I think that's the name) may suggest "Luigi". Spotted by UltraLemmy.

F-Zero X
- There's a track called Rainbow Road, an obvious reference to all the rainbow courses in Mario Kart. And if you look at the track map, you'll see it's shaped exactly like Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64. Spotted by Cornpie.
- One of the racers, Mr. E.A.D, has a face that looks like Mario and wears a belt that has a Starman/Power Star on it as the buckle. Also his car is called the "Great Star". Spotted by Cornpie.

Kirby Super Star Ultra
- When you fight King Dedede in Spring Breeze, if you look on the sides of his arena you can see Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, and some Toads in the stands. Spotted by birby6.
- When you are playing Megaton Punch you can see Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Birdo in the stands. Spotted by birby6.
- If you are Stone Kirby one of the rock formations you can turn into is a Mario statue. Spotted by birby6.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
- There are cameos of Cheep Cheeps, one-eyed versions of Boos and Big Boos, and a Thwomp. Spotted by froggidy.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

- Fyer, the guy who operates the giant cannon at Lake Hylia, has a Bullet Bill on one of his sleeves. Spotted by Mudkip.

- In level 6 of Exploding Piano, Daffy says "Goombas stole my lunch, my dear plumber." Spotted by Dry Bonerangs.

Mega Man Battle Network 3 (GBA)

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
- Dolls of Mario and Yoshi are found in Otacon's lab. Spotted by Mudkip.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- When you unlock the bumper stickers for your ship, it will then have bumper stickers showing games like Mario Party 8, Super Paper Mario, WarioWare, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl depending on what games are in your Wii’s memory. Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

MySims Agents
- While exploring the sewers beneath the industrial section, investigate a large pipe sticking out of a wall. Your character will wonder if there are any large turtles living in it. Spotted by PikachuColoredPichu.

Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir
- At one point in the game, you can poke a crystal ball for quotes. One quote is “Madame Fate
says to find the princess. She is not in this mansion.” This is a reference to Toad from Super Mario Bros, who always said “Thank you Mario! But your princess is in another castle!” Spotted by UltraLemmy.

NBA Street V3
- Mario, Luigi, and Peach appear as playable characters in the GameCube version, along with a Nintendo-themed home court. Spotted by Mudkip.

Nintendogs
- In "Sports" there are items that resemble and emulate Mario items, such as a ? Block and a "rubber mushroom" that looks like Mushroom from Super Mario Bros. Spotted by by Dr. Hawkins.
- In "Toys" there is a Mario kart. When you drive in it, it plays the Mario Circuit song from Double Dash. Spotted by by Dr. Hawkins.
- In “Accessories” you there is a Mario hat and a Luigi hat (and possibly Wario and Waluigi hats). Spotted by by Dr. Hawkins.
- There is a Peach kart toy that plays the Peach Beach theme from Double Dash. Spotted by Froggidy.
- One of the toys is a Bowser Kart that plays the Bowser's castle theme when you drive it. Spotted by Pit.

Pikmin 2
- When you get a box of matches, there is a picture of Bowser on the box. There is also a treasure called "Decorative Goo", which says Mario Paint, a clear reference to the game Mario Paint for the SNES. Spotted by ParaBonz.

Pokemon Red
- When you examine the NES In Copycat’s house it says that it has a game in it that has Mario with a bucket on his head. The game is Mario and Wario! Spotted by Sam.
Animal Crossing: Wild World
- You can buy Mario and Luigi caps at the clothes shop called, respectively, the “Big Bro’s Hat” and the “Lil Bro’s Hat”. Spotted by Chaletica.
- One of the shirts in the game is the “Toad Shirt”, which is white with red dots, similar to Toad. Spotted by Chaletica.
- One of the animal villagers, an alligator named Alfonso, wears a “Big Bro Shirt”(Mario shirt) and has the catchphrase “It’s-a me”. Another character, a gorilla named Louie, wears a “Lil Bro Shirt” (Luigi shirt) and resembles Donkey Kong. Spotted by Chaletica.

Punch-Out!! (Wii)
- In Mac's Last Stand mode, you may get to challenge Donkey Kong as a secret fighter. Whether or not you win against him, he'll be unlocked to fight in Exhibition mode, and he's pretty tough to beat. Also, between rounds, sometimes Doc will jokingly advise you, "If you can't beat this guy, maybe I should call my plumber! Ha ha ha!" Spotted by Mudkip.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
- In one cutscene, the Plumber drops Clank down a large, green pipe, which makes a higher-pitched version of the SMB warp sound. Prior, he remarks "Plumbers don't jump down mysterious pipes all willy-nilly, that'd be just dangerous!" Spotted by Pichu.

The Simpsons Game
- In the last cutscene before episode 16, Homer asks what's for dinner. A Mario-like character pops up and says "I hope it's-a spaghetti! Here we go!" Spotted by Mudkip.
- In one of the levels, Bart and Lisa go down warp pipes. You also get to fight an ape throwing barrels, an obvious reference to Donkey Kong. Spotted by Chaletica.
- A Koopa-like character appears in one of the cutscenes. Spotted by Chaletica.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail (GCN, PS2, Xbox)
- Before deciding on Light Gems for Spyro to collect, the Professor suggests "Red Coins" or "Power Stars". Spotted by Mudkip.

Viewtiful Joe
- When you are using a Shocking Pink bomb, hold down the X button to hear Joe whistle the Mario theme. Spotted by Sam.

Wii Fit
- In the running games, when you go over the bridge, there will be an 8-bit Mario on one of the posts, on the right and about halfway down. Spotted by KT.
- While running around the island in free run, you can sometimes see pictures of classic Mario and Mushrooms on the walls and mountainsides. Spotted by GeneralBleck666.

Wii Music
- The Super Mario Bros. theme is unlocked after the player has completed the first four levels of Pitch Perfect. Spotted by Mudkip.

Wii Sports Resort
- While playing Island Flyover, go to the Vacation Cottages and listen closely. You can hear somebody playing the original Super Mario Bros! If you fly over at night it will say "It sounds like somebody is playing a NES, but they need some pointers..." Spotted by Dragongirl.
