Story:
One day Waluigi got a letter. It said "Come to this island". The letter also had a map showing him how to get to the island. Waluigi built a boat out of wood. It was small and he made a wooden oar for it. Using the map, he headed to the island.

When he got there, he found a Piranha Plant that said, "An evil treasure box named Boxo stole the three Golden Treasures which were used as the beacon for the Lighthouse.This Light was necessary to keep everything living on the island."

The Piranha Plant then said his friends sent Waluigi the letter asking him to come to the island to rescue the Golden Treasures for the beacon. Then the Piranha Plant said that Waluigi would become the owner of the island and they would build him a castle on it as reward for saving the Light. Waluigi decided to help save the Golden Treasures.

The Piranha Plant warned him that Boxo has sent out minions to stop anyone who came to rescue the treasures, so it would be very dangerous.

Walk: Waluigi can walk with left and right on the control pad.
Climb: Waluigi can climb up when he is at the bottom of a ladder with up-he can go back down with down.
Jump: Press A and Waluigi will jump-with the Super Boots you can hold a to go much higher!
Punch: With the Punch Glove you can punch your enemies with B!
Fireball Toss: With a Fire Flower, B can allow Waluigi to throw fireballs.
Ground Pound: While in midair you Ground Pound with L... that is if you have the Pound Overalls!
Duck: Down will allow Waluigi to duck.

To Defeat: Piranhapus will attack by moving around trying to bite you. When he aims down towards you jump on him and get to the other side of him and jump under the block and get a Pound Overalls power-up. Then when he aims for you again jump on his head and Ground Pound on it! This will hurt him, leaving him with only 2 energy left. Repeat the process of jumping on his head and Ground Pounding it two more times to defeat him!

Crabby
World: Crab Beach
Prize: Heart (extra energy)
Energy: 3
To Defeat: Crabby sidesteps left and right ant tosses rocks at you. Avoid them and jump up under the block and get the Fire Flower. When he puts his arm in the air again throw a Fireball at his side. He will then put his arm back down. Repeat the process of throwing Fireballs at his side two more times to defeat him!

Clubber
World: Rock Mountains
Prize: Double Heart (two extra energy)
Energy: 6
To Defeat: Clubber walks left and right. If you get too close he will try to smash you with his club. Avoid him and jump under the block and get the Punch Glove. When Clubber lifts his club run up to him and punch him two times. He will then put his club down so move out of the way! Repeat the process of punching him twice two more times to defeat him!

Batty
World: Dark Cave
Prize: Double Heart (two extra energy)
Energy: 6
To Defeat: Batty flies around and tries to swoop down on you so watch out! When he stops he will fly high up. Walk under the block near by and jump. Get the Super Boots and jump up on Batty. Then jump under the rock to make it fall. Move out of the way and it will fall on Batty, leaving him with 5 energy. Rocks will then fall as Batty tries to swoop down on you. Repeat the process of jumping on him and under the rock five more times to defeat him!

----------Finally it's time for the final boss!!!---------------------

Boxo
Energy: 10
World: Treasure Lighthouse
To Defeat:
Phase 1
Finally! It's time to get rid of Boxo once and for all! Boxo moves around spiting Para Guys at you! Avoid them and they will eventually leave the area. Now... get under the block and jump! Then get the Invincibility Star! When Boxo opens his mouth again get inside to take away 3 energy!

Phase 2
Boxo will then spit you out of his mouth and bounce around. Now move over to where he was, jjump under the blocks, and get the Super Boots and Fire Flower. When he bounces toward you throw three fireballs at him. He will catch on fire and will move around quickly. Jump over him and toss more and more fireballs. He will soon have only 4 energy left.

Phase 3
Boxo will then spit HUGE fireballs at you! Jump over them and he will spit a shiny orb at you, which will take away your Fire Flower. He will then bounce around spitting fireballs. Avoid them and jump on him. As he bounces around, jump up to the ceiling. You will be taken to a secret room! Jump under the blocks to get the Punch Glove and Pound Overalls. Jump back down to Boxo and punch his eyes five times. They will get big and red. Now jump on them and Ground Pound on them four times. YAY! Boxo is defeated! He will fall apart. Now get the treasures and a ladder will appear. Climb up it and take the Treasures to where they belong!

Game Ending
--------------------

Light will shine on the island and Piranha Plants will be all around the Lighthouse! Waluigi will come back down. Back in the Lighthouse Boxo will "magically" be put back together. He will come out where all the Piranha Plants are saying thank you and yelling  "YAY!" Boxo will come towards them but they will pick him up and toss him in the ocean. Boxo can't swim because he doesn't have any arms. You will then see a picture of Waluigi making a "peace" sign.
