Goomba is fond of Bowser, but is especially fond of Piranha Plants. He helps Piranha Plants capture the Mario team, and most of the time succeeds. Sometimes he helps individual people from the Mario team cheat to get a Star, but he also helps Bowser by making some of the people on the Mario team get tricked by Bowser. He doesn't really know which side he's on. He hangs around cakes because that is his favorite food.
